Especially not pooches on fire!!

My DH was in management at UPS for 18 years and although they are a good company, the higher ups that my DH had the last few years of his employment were horrible. He would come home miserable every day and the kids really started to hate UPS. So back in 2003 when we were on our Navigator of the Seas cruise - DH bought a voo doo doll as a souvenir in Labadee and as we are on the tender boat back to the ship - my DS who was 5 at the time was holding the doll and another cruiser saw it and said - WOW thats a nice doll - DS without even thinking - says -YEAH its my DADDYS Boss.... Im gonna be mean to him like he is to my Daddy. Of course we all started cracking up laughing but later when we thought about it - it was sad that a small child kept that bottled up inside. Thankfully now, DH has a great company and really nice bosses so no more bad feelings.

OH, I only WISH we were going to NY to see it! :love:
But there's no way we could swing a trip to NY on top of the TRIP OF A LIFETIME!!

The show is touring, and is coming to the Fox Theater here in St. Louis. (It's a gorgeous venue, so if it can't be on Broadway then I'm happy to see it here. :thumbsup2 )

Someday I will see a show on Broadway. I presume quite a few on here have done so. We've never managed it. (In fact, I've never been to NYC unless you could JFK airport).

I was trying to convice SWMBO to go see a show when she is in NYC in April, but she's trying to get out of going altogether (since it is a work-thing, not a play-thing).

I assume the Fox is a nice place to see a show. I love those old movie houses -- we used to always go to Broadway shows at the Fox in Atlanta. But that was before we had kids. Now, the closest we get to a show is "Princesses on Ice".

Hazel is babysitting her niece's DD again today. Hailie brought her Snow White dress with her today to play dress-up. I just took this pic of Hailie aka Snow White. She also brought over her Cinderella dress. Funny thing is, Hailie is wearing her glass slippers with the Snow White dress. :goodvibes

awww!!!:) a true Princess!!!:wizard:

BTW, I know my posts are hopping all over the place, but I'm trying to ketchup, and trying to keep up at the same time...LOL

It would have been easier if there was an evil boss in the picture. ;) DS started taking his anger out on DD and that is when I realized that there was a problem.

One weekend when he was home he was snoring loudly like usual. I use to get upset & try to get him to stop. I realized that I actually missed his snoring & I fell asleep listening to it that night. I am back to getting him to stop snoring now. ;)

My spouse tells me I snore big time...

... once I awoke in FREE FALL!!!
....And then abruptly I landed on the floor!
I looked around and dimly I could see my spouse on our bed smiling like a wolf...
... she had just rolled me OFF the bed - and she explained my snoring was keeping her up!!!

my current work of helping others rebuild/recover their lives...
i had to find ways to reach their emotional state...{some beings,

darn it..if i could--i wish our society would recognizes our needs for taking
care mental health, as it does on outward appearences...

Not boring at all...I enjoyed reading your post very much. To see beyond what one may have been become in the darkest, most desperate moments of life, and instead see what they have the ability TO rise above to become, is truly a special gift. I think you are blessed with that gift.

Hey there girlie, I can cause trouble if I want to, and that weenie twin of mine, ain't going to stop me

Oh, bother, look what I started by suggesting Randy get his own screen name....

I enjoyed the Beauty & The Beast stage show better. Maybe it's because I thought LK was played out after having seen the show they have at the AK so many times. Just my opinion, though, and since I am a swabbie, what do I know. :confused3

Truth be told, I did too (so did DD). However, I do think the opening scene of TLK was worth the price of admission.

Hearing all the stories about flying problems yesterday, I thought you all would enjoy this. Hope it is okay to post.

Just in case you need a laugh:

After every flight, Qantas pilots fill out a form, called a "gripesheet," which tells mechanics about problems with the aircraft. The mechanics correct the problems, document their repairs on the form, and then pilots review the gripe sheets before the next flight. Never let it be said that ground crews lack a sense of humor. Here are some actual maintenance complaints submitted by Qantas' pilots (marked with a P) and the solutions recorded (marked with an S) by maintenance engineers.

By the way, Qantas is the only major airline that has never, ever, had an accident.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
P: Left inside main tire almost needs replacement.
S: Almost replaced left inside main tire.
P: Test flight OK, except auto-land very rough.
S: Auto-land not installed on this aircraft.
P: Something loose in cockpit.
S: Something tightened in cockpit
P: Dead bugs on windshield.
S: Live bugs on back-order.
P: Autopilot in altitude-hold mode produces a 200 feet per minute descent.
S: Cannot reproduce problem on ground.
P: Evidence of leak on right main landing gear.
S: Evidence removed.
P: DME volume unbelievably loud.
S: DME volume set to more believable level.
P: Friction locks cause throttle levers to stick.
S: That's what friction locks are for.
P: IFF inoperative in OFF mode.
S: IFF always inoperative in OFF mode.
P: Suspected crack in windshield.
S: Suspect you're right.
P: Number 3 engine missing.
S: Engine found on right wing after brief search.
P: Aircraft handles funny. (I love this one!)
S: Aircraft warned to: straighten up, fly right, and be serious.
P: Target radar hums.
S: Reprogrammed target radar with lyrics.
P: Mouse in cockpit.
S: Cat installed.
And the best one for last..................
P: Noise coming from under instrument panel. Sounds like a midget pounding on something with a hammer.
S: Took hammer away from midget
:lmao: Thank you for those much needed laughs!!!!!:lmao: those are awesome!!!
