And don't forget cake....you like cake, too.
Yes, cake is good.

Hmm....that will make the "Bring a Bottle of your Local Area wine for a Wine & Cheese Party" party a bit more complicated.
If anyone is still interested in a Wine & Cheese party, I bet we could do one by picking 2-3 varieties of wine & asking each participant to bring a bottle. Then we could compare the different vinyard's interpretations of each varietal.
I don't have much time to post on this thread or even follow it![]()
but I am also joining all of you on this cruise. We have 2 adults, 2 kids 13 and 11 by that time in a cat 6.
I have emailed Lisa our information and wanted to thank her for keeping this list and all the information that I am sure will eventually be there
Now I don't expect him to spend it with his soon-to-be ex-wife, that's understandable...but he has a 6-year old son (of whom he currently has full custody!!!!) And he dumps his poor son off with whatever relative is available when he wants to make these treks to KC...It just makes me sad for that little boy. He's already going through a lot with his parents in the middle of a nasty divorce...
So has anyone done the math recently with posts? (as in how many are we slated to have by cruise time?) What's our daily average lately? Looks like we may be close to 1,000 daily...But I could be wrong...Anyone have that # handy? If so, I can figure it up really quickly. Oh, well! Let's just say we'll have A LOT by cruise time! (How many hundreds of thousands? I dunno...)
Just had to share this with you. A DFriend of mine e mailed me this.
WOMAN'S PERFECT BREAKFAST
She's sitting at the table with her gourmet coffee.
Her son is on the cover of the Wheaties box.
Her daughter is on the cover of Business Week.
Her boyfriend is on the cover of Playgirl.
And her husband is on the back of the milk carton.
UNDERSTANDING WOMEN
(A MAN'S PERSPECTIVE)
I know I'm not going to understand women.
I'll never understand how you can take boiling hot wax, pour it onto your upper thigh, rip the hair out by the root, and STILL be afraid of a spider.
WIFE VS. HUSBAND
A couple drove down a country road for several miles, not saying a word.
An earlier discussion had led to an argument and neither of them wanted to concede their position.
As they passed a barnyard of mules, goats, and pigs, the husband asked sarcastically, "Relatives of yours?"
"Yep," the wife replied, "in-laws."

We're already at capacity for a non-suite stateroom. We can't add another child before cruise time.
Depends on how you want to look at it.
There are 550 days until 8/17/08 (365 to 2/14/08, 15 Feb, 31 Mar, 30 Apr, 31 May, 30 Jun, 31 Jul, 17 Aug).
If you go by the 1,000 posts we are averaging per day, we will top 570,000.
If you figure we did 20,000 in 31 days, then we would end up with around 375,000.

Now we could start a pool on that number. $1 each for the number of DISers we have would be a pretty nice pot.
But then again, we'd start seeing a lot of manipulation to get that number to a certain point.
Had to go grab lunch, and now I'm back...And I'll be here for most of the rest of the day!![]()
For those of you who followed my dilemma from last week...guess where my boss went for Valentine's Day???
Kansas City!![]()

We lost power for about a 1/2 earlier, and I thought I was going to have to bundle up my flu patient and head to my Mother's. Luckily just when I thought I had to go that the lights and HEAT came back on Anyway, they sent everyone home from my office at 12:30 which is why I didn't want to make the trip.....45 mins over, 2 hours work, 45 mins. back. It seemed like a waste.
I probably should have gone to set an example as I work in HR........but I'm a bad girl.........
That's just a crazy amount of posts! Watch, when we all finally meet in person, we'll have nothing to say to one another...........FAT CHANCE!
