Unfortunantly I have witnessed CMs being yelled at for far less. Some people have the "I PAID FOR THIS CRUISE AND I AM GOING TO GET MY WAY" disease. It is very sad. There is also nothing that GS CMs can do if it is raining outside or if the Captain decides that it is not safe to dock at a port...yet they are the ones who get yelled at.

Hope to get to know you before the cruise! My DD's will be 9 and 12 at cruise time. They also love all that is Disney.

My dd will be just a couple of months shy of 9 when we cruise. I noticed on the manifest that there are LOTS of kids in this age group. <- just for your dd, Pete!

I don't understand people like that. Sure I'd be upset if we missed Castaway Cay or something but what is the point of yelling at people that have no more control over the weather than you yourself do? It doesn't make sense.

I don't understand why they were picking on her? She's just the lady to make reservations for future bookings... right?
I don't understand anyone making a fuss over weather because that can't be controlled by anyone bug G O D, but at the very least take complaints (justified or not) to those that are there to handle such customer complaints... not the lady that takes future ressies for future cruises. For crying out loud. What was wrong with those people?

Even Six Flags doesn't give rainchecks people- they need to get a clue.

Morning All! Happy Valentine's Day. Still no blizzard here ... just lots and lots of sleet that will mix with freezing rain later in the day before it turns to snow again. Can I get a big YUCK We decided to close the facility today so I'm home hiding from my kids

Of course I think I work with a bunch of dopes ... we had a message on the "weather line" telling all employees that due to the severe weather the office was closed. That message was available by 6:05 this morning ... at 8:15 I get called at home. Hourly folks WENT to work today because they weren't sure they'd get paid if they stayed home. Personally, I'm all for docking their pay for being STUPID and driving in this mess ... btw, of COURSE we were going to pay them.

When we were on our cruise last year, a couple of times I went back to the cabin for something and the host would be there. He would apoligize for being in the way and I would tell him that I was the one in the way. He would always smile. I don't understand people who think that because they paid for a vacation they can be nasty to people.
