My son is up playing the cello now -- he just started this year. I don't think Mary Had a Little Lamb is supposed to sound like a funeral dirge.

We have a rule in our house -- no video games unless you've practiced your instrument, so I assume that is why he is practicing w/o being told -- he wants to play XBOX360.

That is similar to our rule...except our's is "no screens until you have practiced"...so that also includes computer, TV, game boy, portable DVD player.....We have to really spell it out for ds or he'll say "but you never said I couldn't......"

How did the tour go? Was it College Ave, Bush, Livingston, Douglas? BTW, did you know that Douglas is now co-ed?

The tour was good. Toured all five New Brunswick Campuses. Rutgers isn't my cup of tea...but hey, it's not my life, so I zip my lip. My DD is interested in the College Ave. campus. They did say that the Douglas dorms will remain "woman only". Did you attend Rutgers? Any thoughts on it? Thanks!

Like I said .....Its a Challenge ...You could probably get the piping and sew it on in the pattern's and you have 18 months to complete ...LOL

Its an awesome costume thats for sure ...

So Todd, does that mean your going help me with all the props. What about that belt?

Whats all these pictures of headless ladies, the pirate lady was nice, cant we see their heads? PLEASE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I was thinking the same thing!!....It reminds me of when I was young and I was cleaning out my little brother's toy box.....he was about 7 or 8 years old at the time....I found all of these pictures of women from the JC Penney catalog bra section....Just the torso cut out...no heads! I remember thinking...."Oh no! My little brother is a perv!"....I know you're not a perv though, Crash!!

Would it be illegal to buy emeralds in cartenga? It is my mom's birthstone and I would like to get some (ok I would probably only be able to get one!lol).

I was also wondering about emeralds. If I get off the ship there, it will only be to buy emeralds for my mom, sister, two nieces and of course some for myself.

Yes I did. Graduated in 1990 from RC. It's a HUGE campus when you combine all parts in New Brunswick and Piscataway. Academically it was great, depending on your intended major.

What didn't you like about it? What does DD like? Also, things may have changed, but 'back in the day', in order to live on the College Ave campus you had to draw from a lottery. I spent my 4 years on Bush Campus (Davidson Hall 1yr, then the apts.). I preferred it that way because I got to keep my car!

I think the belt thing and the rest of that is kind of like an old time leathor armour .....You could make the easily from Vegetable tanned leather ...make it thin ..I would think ....

Thank you for asking,

DD her ear is ok, it seems, we will know if graft is ok in three weeks, but she has had other problems, she came down with Flu, cannot eat, and cannot sleep, I had a bad cold in the hospital and with the snow on Thursday it was bound to happen.

She hasnt eaten today after being sick all night, but cross fingures over the wrost.

DW Slow progress, still very weak and DD up all night doesnt help.

We will get there soon!
