Wow you guys posted alot today!! We already at the rush for 15,000. I'm trying to get caught up but can anyone tell me if anyone got a cabin assignment today?

Boy Turbo tax isn't liking me one bit Everytime I correct what they say is wrong, bam another error. Tomorrow I think I will start from scratch.

The thing about the trip insurance is IF you need to cover a preexisting medical condition , than you need to get it within 10 - 14 days of your downpayment. All others can get it before the final payment.Sadly we fit in the first catagory.

I got my vacation request approved today. My supervisor called to ask me if I meant 2007 and not 2008, and she laughed when I said that I really had meant 2008.

Hee hee. I'm sure you're not the only one with a 2008 vacation request in, since I had my hubby do that moments after we booked this cruise.

Or a lot of us have booked but are not able to keep up with the thread so we have not posted and are barely reading more than the summaries. I know we are trying to read to grasp general information about the cruise so that we can grab it before it's buried.

Please post.........we are all just trying to get to know one another and as such are chatting quite a bit. I have been on three DCL cruises. The first I belong to the DIS but there really weren't meets like there are now. The second and the third I was part of a big DIS contingent. We had an absolute blast and I have made friendship that will last a lifetime. I know I will be makng more lifetime friends this time too. Everywhere we went on the ship we knew someone. It felt like a cross between being on a chartered ship and being a celebrity. Of course, there were other DISers that remained more in the background, which was great also (a shrinking violet I'm not, so that doesn't describe me) But any level of involvement is acceptable. I just can't really explain how it felt to me to know so many people onboard. If that sounds like you kind of thing, then jump in and don't miss out!

I'm going to have a problem with that. They make us request in increments.You get to post for your first week and then the second and for us lucky ones the third. I will have to put a personal request for this. My friend said she would post the 2nd week for me and then we would switch. However, that didn't work before. I will keep my fingers crossed come Dec.

Seeing how this thread has taken on a life of its own. What do you guys think of starting part 2 just for planning ideas? We could leave this thread to get to know each other, which is very difficult now with the number of posts everyday.

One thread per cruise. Things get lost if you divide it up. The group website will consolidate all of the important info.

Alrene I hope it works this time. But that is a really GREAT friend to help you like that. I'm afraid my boss will deny my request. But I already decided that I will QUIT my job, go on the Repo, and when I return they will have to hire my back at twice my salary. You see, I am a hard working, loyal, diligent employee and I work WAY TOO CHEAP! So even at twice the price they are still getting a bargain
