Here is how the dining looks with the group so far out of the 318 posted on the manifest.

146 Captain's
100 Late
72 WLE for Captain's but currently in late

Looks like the Late folks will definately take over an entire dining room. Can we get ALL our reservations linked??

The banner that we use for the sigs will go on the front and you can pick the skull & crossbones that you want for the back. pirate:

Got it.

Have we decided if the front logo is going to be on the pocket or across the whole chest?

Lisa,
Can you explain to me how the linked dining works? My family of 4 and my parents are in early (oops sorry, Captain's) dining....we requested a table of 6, but it's not a problem if they put us at a large with a couple of other people....If we all link dining (as a DIS group), would that mean they will try to seat us all near one another? That would be great, if I understand this correctly....

And just to clarify, if we all link dining, and some are listed in late seating, would they (DCL) move us all as a group to late dining if that is the only time slot that could accommodate everyone? Sorry....I've never done the linked dining, and just want to be clear....TIA!

How it works with a large group is the coordinator for the group deals directly with the DCL dining coordinator. The GC collects the necessary info from everyone and fills out the paperwork which basically is like a seating chart for the serving stations. Each station has 18 people in it initially with a 4, 6, & 8 top. Those tables can be combined to create a 10 or 12 or 14 considering the layout of that dining room. This time when I board the ship and meet with the dining manager, I will have a copy of the seating paperwork with me to hand him so that he can review each reservation to make sure that everyone is where they are suppose to be. :thumbsup2

Phew I am now caught up, but I have to go have dinner, go to church and scouts and THEN come home and work . . .I guess I'll be seeing everyone in another 50 pages or so . . .:lmao::lmao::lmao:

I vote for the whole chest.. easier to see each other ..

Of course the way this is going. it will be interesting as the only ones NOT part of the DIS group will feel real left out.. all 2 of them LOL:rotfl2:

I can see the pages of debate now on which rotation is the best. :rotfl2:

BTW, on the last EB Repo, what night numbers were formal nights? Which night was Pirate night?

Wow! You are good!

Have you sent in your family's information? The manifest will only include the 4 of you but when we link dining that listing will include everyone in your party. :thumbsup2

I just PM'd you the info I have now on who we are, ages, home towns, occupations, and just my email address.

Some of the folks are guests of my guests - and as yet I have only limited info on them. If ther is room for us to gather with everyone else on the early shift that would be fun. If our group is too large to fit in with any other DIS group then we understand. Our group of 30 could be substituted with many DIS enthusiasts ... and we would be able to get by as a subgroup alone. However... we hope to "fit" into the dining room with either the early or late DIS dining groups.

When I get cabin assignments - and when we get further along with complete info on the folks in my party whom I have not met yet - then I'll forward it along to ya!

At the moment I am still trying to get a CAT 3 or 4 quad for a DIS friend who decided after wednesday to join us. IF anyone knows of one floating around unsold - or if anyone knows someone who is gonna give theirs up - please PM ASAP!

Gee... I wish I were sailing in a cat 3 or 4... but really we're happy in our cozy cat 9. As we've sailed in a 12, 11, 9s and a 6 on DCL. Our friends looking for a TPC East-bound cabin have only sailed DCL in a 3 (or 4). Some bums have all the luck, eh? <chuckles>

Cheers....

I feel for the non-DISers on this cruise.

I know what it's like to have a large group/family at one resort and you're not part of that group.

<Hahhah Hahaah HAHHAHH!!!!>

TAKE WHAT YOU CAN GET!!!!

There are approximately 400 people per dining room per seating.

Just popping in to say HI mateys.

The freezing temps and overnight snow we had has finally caught to me. I had a horrible day, I've been up since before 4am because of the pain and stiffness in my left knee. I just resorted to taking a pain pill, and will be in dreamland very shortly.

I'll catch up with y'all later.

Missed by one again.

Was that a SWABBIE that got that mini? pirate:

Well...

... I think I must have missed the last 10 or 15 I sprinted after! It's been really tough to get one. Especially the 1000 ones.pirate:

Long Beach and Orange County are the EASIEST and closest to the cruise--but not always the cheapest and not all airlines fly into them:thumbsup2

Oh those 1000's are hard to time. Not to mention getting caught by that 40 second rule.

I think the Wenches cheat. :lmao:

I know what you mean - but there is nothing to say that they can't hang w/us:goodvibes .
