Okay , I have been working on the shirt design more ...So we have the Banner on the front ...and then these big designs on the back ....This way you can choose what you want yours to say ..What do you think ????

(please dont print these yet as they are not the high res finished product , these are just sample's ...the finished products will be on the Group website when completed)

The last one I did was kinda like a brain fart ....thought some of you might like that ...the sloagan that is , not the brain fart

LOL . . homeschooling is the life for me . . .We don't get up before 8 AM most days It's close to the top of the list for me. I just don't do mornings very well (except on the DCL when I want to see Capt Tom slide that ship into port . . .)

I have MUCH respect for you homeschoolers. I'm homeschooling my son for a few weeks for medical reasons. I'm only on my 3rd day and I'm already pulling my hair out. I was NOT cut out for this!!!

Count us among the early diner's - just got off the phone with a CM at DCL and they made the change but I was chastised heavily and told to go through my TA for any other changes. So anyone who wants the change, get in touch with your TA and have them call and make the change.

Ohhhhh....the CM you talked to was a "grumpy elf". The guy I taked to didn't say anything to me about only making changes through my TA. Of course, I know I should, and will from now on.....but this was something I was really worried about. My parents may have decided not to go if they couldn't dine with us.

You are very lucky! I just got off the phone with the CC and they told me that my TA would take care of it. The agent, Diana, was absolutely sweet as could be, but said she was not able to change my WLE.

The agent I spoke with wasn't sweet and I caught her in a lie - first she told me there was availability but wouldn't change it even though I was on the waitlist and to call my TA - I asked her why it couldn't be changed if I was already on the WL - it wasn't like I was asking them do anything the TA hadn't already done - she said the TA had to make the request to make the change - what change? I'm already waitlisted as the TA requested, wouldn't that mean that the TA requested the change already? So I asked why we wouldn't automatically be moved if there was availability - she said that she never said there was any availability - what? - you just did. We went round in circles for a few, then she put me on hold, came back a few minutes later and said that a supervisor made the change but that they couldn't make any other's because we are with the TA and now they had to call the TA to advise them of the change. I admit, I was getting to be difficult - but I've pretty much had it to "here" with all the wacky info and double talk - if she had been nice from the beginning I don't think I would of hesitated to hang up and call DU.

Then she said to call back if I had any questions or needed any changes and to have a nice day. Needless to say, they really need to get their act's together.

Great job ladies on the weight loss. Keep up the great work!!! Now that SB is over we are back to WW in my house - no point soup (good time for this with the weather being so cold) and salad for dinner, especially for DH, he is the one who has to lose the most....I own a Scrapbook store on Staten Island, and one of my good customers is one of the WW ladies, maybe you know Gloria....

Again, just trying to keep up here...missed 1 day and sooooooooo far behind.

DCL should really be able to handle this better by now! The agent did confirm to me that there is availability on the early dining rotation but that she was 'locked out' of my ressie from a password with DU. ??? She then tried to talk me out of early rotation, stating that some excursions would be bringing us back to the ship late (1o hour excursions ) and that we'd probably miss our meal anyway. I explained to her that living on the east coast, adjusting to the 3 hour time difference, it would greatly affect my DD. Nope, she didn't budge. So, I zipped an e mail to Merrie, my DU agent, and now I'll just wait and see.

I just noticed you can get a Cat 5 for the repo on DCL's website.

Not sure if any other room categories will become available soon (we're looking at changing our room location).

I will be calling DCL at some point soon. The problem most people have is they are in GTY status. So even if you were to be assigned a room now, you normally are not allowed to switch from that room because of the GTY status. We were given it basically with no choice in the matter.

I just called the Castaway Cay number to check on my WLE. The CM said that they did have availability for 6pm dining and said he switched for me. I'm waiting to see confirmation on my online ressie.

Thanks for the heads up - I just called the CC line too and was able to get my dining switched to main also.

Yawn. It's early AM in Chicagoland and thought I'd check in to see what transpired overnight. Need to get DS off to Chorus and entertain DD. (What time does Playhouse Disney start?)

My ressie at DU got assigned to the "Cruise Concerige Team" - I had worked with Debra initially - she's the one who got our ressie. And I was having one of those moments where it was all about "ME" and forget business!

Roundabouts (traffice circles) I can handle easily. But from that first fateful day that I (mistakenly) crossed the Ben Franklin....well, let's just say I was in for it when I tried to pump my own gas You should have seen the attendant!

And then when I came to one of those "ALL TURNS FROM RIGHT LANE" intersections...well, I had no idea what that meant!

Not exactly something you'd see in California or Texas!

NEVER try to take away our gas attendents!!!

It is so nice to just come home after dropping the kids off this morning for a change. I have to organize my Target finds today...the closet is a mess with bags now & DH is gone for 2 days so I can drag it all out in the living room and really go thru it and take my time. I bought lots of things for projects at 75% off....lots of frames were marked down last week so I got a huge one that has a double mat for an 8x10 and 4 smaller ones to go around it in the family room. That is the one being turned into our Disney themed one. I also found three nice shadow boxes to use for mementos from our cruises. This means that I have to get the release printed out & go get copies of the Shutters pictures for the scrapbook & to send out to family so that I can get them framed & on the wall.

You are the Target Empress!!! I've got Target envy for you.

Give yourself more credit. Remember you are trying to do someone else's assignments on someone else's schedule. If you can do you homework with your child, you can homeschool. Remember you know your child best

Homeschooling is much freeier than doing having to do someone else's preplanned activities in a classroom like setting.
