I have actually given our friends our ressie number. They are trying to get their cabin moved forward, and we are hoping if they can, we will get their assigned cabin....We certainly hope we can straiten it all out before we board (if possible).

At the moment I don't even think I'm going to bother trying. We have to decide between doing excursions, dh scuba diving, etc. versus spending money on all 5 of us to dress up for pirates night? And it would only be for that ONE night for us... we don't plan on cruising again after this and I dare say DH and I aren't dressing up for halloween these days... so, eh... we'll be the oddballs out on pirates night as well.

Just a quick thought before I return back to 'life'...

There seems to be a lot of discussion on bracelets, lanyards, pins, etc. in trying to identify fellow DISers onboard. What about hats? Like baseball hats? I typically don't wear one, but when onboard or out in the hot sun, I definitely do. Just a thought...

That's why I took him to the doctor instead of school. They were able to fit him right in with our regular doctor. No strep...yet. They are culturing it.

Ok, so I looked at the posting stats that were posted and I have posted 140 times on this thread since 1/31. At the rate I am going, I will have 8633 additional posts by the time we cruise in 555 days.

Is anyone still seated at late dining in this group? We have never done main dining before, not sure how the family feels about it. I did it last year on a business cruise w/o the family, and I always felt so rushed. But it seems like everyone is Main, so maybe I will talk to DH and see if we can switch...Any thoughts

There are lots of people still in late dining that don't want to switch out...and there will be many more. The count is on the top of the manifest page.

Hi everyone- My family will be joining you on the EB Repo as well. We were on board the Magic on the 31st, so we booked while on board- Actually I was at the pool while Leslie, the sales manager, booked for me! I have been lurking the boards almost daily since our first cruise in 06, but i rarely post as most questions are usually answered already! On the repo, it will be myself, DH, DD now 6 and DS now 3. I just hope I can keep up with the posts. When I returned last week, I never dreamed the thread would be this long! Better jump in now before I really get behind. Looking forward to cruising with such a great group!

ETA: The Wenches are killing the Swabbies and the Captain. I think it is like 9-1-3 (I think one was stolen by someone not on this cruise).

And to top it off, they put it at 11:00 a.m. on the first sea day of the Western. Needless to say, we had Palo brunch booked for 10:30. Bad timing on their part.

They insisted that this is what the CC members said they wanted. I don't think this is what they wanted.

We were on the Western last week and the CC reception was on Monday at 11 - I was mad because I had a massage scheduled that morning and didn't want to miss the reception since it was our first one - had to see what it was about. Free sodas, OJ and teas, mickey krispies and that was about it! They handed out a brochure with some questions and you could get them answered by mingling with other cruisers and CM's. We each got an entry to fill out to win a raffle prize, and we each got a free pen. They gave away 10 Clocks and then it was over (of course we didn't win) I didn't have to cancel my massage, but the whole time i was worried about what time it was

One other thing I HOPE they will change before we cruise again is SHUTTERS! I was so angry with the lady at Shutters by the end of the week that I just ended up cancelling my package and getting 2 pictures and paying dearly for them. I was so irritated with her - she always seemed to be there too. She was not working with me at all and I was being nice. I HATE all the pics that they take and put tacky borders on them - some are fine but I wish it was optional. The times I asked to have a photo changed or have the border deleted, she got pushy about us buying more than one package and adamant that if i continued to stack my photos that she would have move them and I would have to search all over again to find them. I am sorry but these photos aren't cheap. I wish DCL would do something similar to what they do in the parks so we don't have to suffer the wrath of even being in Shutters on the last day of the cruise - which is when most of the pics we had taken were up anyways. Half the cruiseship was in Shutters at 5pm on Friday - YIKES!! It would be nice to not have the hassle of searching (some photos all look the same and you are trying to find one out of 1,000). Okay I will get off my soap box now........thanks for reading!
