I threw these in photobucket, but forgot to post here. Here is the parrot costume we made for DS when he was 14 months. It was great, DH & I were pirates & he trick-or-treated on our shoulders. Won't fit now - he'll be 10 on the cruise! I'm pretty sure we have most of the parts if anyone wants to turn their toddler into a parrot I can bring it along.

HEE HEE - just realized a 14 month old baby at cruise time hasn't even been born yet! It's Monday - I'm a little slow.

Yes there is another but it is no where complete or ready for print ...I did that real quick and the elements are to small at the moment ...I am waiting for High Res copies of the Elements that I need to finish it ...

Here is one I have been working on , but it is no where near done

And Yes , I had the Lime Green in there before anyone said anything ...remember this is not finished ..

This is really cool! Imagine how confused the non-Disers (if there are any on the ship) will be to see all these door signs and wonder why they didn't get theirs!

Any Dungeons & Dragons players out there going on this cruise? We just got back from a cruise with my brother and he had all his books with him in case we had time to game. He's hoping to join us on this cruise (we have space for him in our staterooms) and he's eyeing the many sea days as an opportunity to get some gaming in. Just thought I would check.

And a WAY off topic question, anyone going to GenCon Indy 2007? Just thought it would be neat to meet some of you before the cruise...

I'm a gamer! I've played all sorts of games from role playing to strategic simulations (cardboard counters) to Traveler and Metamorphesis Alpha. I even started a gaming club in High School which grew to be quite large numbering up to 50 students - plus we were well funded... we were effective at making $$$.

However, for decades I've slaved away at making a living and building a business. In recent years I have found a little spare time for limited gaming. However, two exceptions are Mechwarrior CLIX (I dropped about $1000 on pieces until they changed the rules making my collection uncompetitive in sanctioned tournament) and L5R where one of my oldest friends just became the Line developer for the game! We play on a private blog site with ocassional meetings (parties for our kids or holidays). Otherwise... I would be very interested in observing a game OR... maybe we could start a play by forum thread adventure HERE on the DIS. That way we would have a really well developed adventure ... in 18 months. It would be pretty radical if you ask me.

Alternatively, maybe I could get my pal to run an L5R adventure for us - he is NOT on the sailing... but when have you last had a chance to play in a game that was being run by the guy who is writing the books that define the game? This would be like playing in a private game run by Gary Gygax in the 80s!!! Well... maybe it's more like having the editor/line developer who FOLLOWED Gary Gygax after he retired! Anyway... I am in a play by blog game for L5R.

Any serious discussion can be referred to me via PM - as it is random chance I will catch anything here with the given posting activity levels!!!​

WE have those shirts (and I also have a tank to match). Not with the logo on the back ofcourse but I mean the color and the front. We have those!
I just hope they all still fit us by the time we cruise. They are still new, unworn and I did buy bigger sizes anticipating we'd wear them on the "planned" june 2008 cruises. Crossing my fingers they still fit!
