At this point 1 & 1/2 years ahead of time I will notify all coaches & arrange our schedule around the trip!
What day of the week is Embarkation day?

I'm with ya on that - there is NO WAY that I'm not going on this cruise because of some school activity when school is not even in session.

The ship leaves LA on Sunday, Aug 17 and returns to PC on Monday, Sep 1.

We also plan on flying out on Thurs, Aug 14 and going to DL and Legoland.

Okay - back to work - keep warm!

Maybe we could have 2 iron ons for the shirts! We could do the big logo in front, and then something else on the back...like the phrase "Take what you can, and give nothing back!" on the back of the shirt?
I'm sure there's a way that we can all identify one-another no matter what color we're all wearing.

ETA: YAYY! Finally got one!

I am actually working on a shirt that is close to that ...with the Skull and Crossbones on the back really big and Take What you Can on it as well ......Once I am complete you will see ...

You know what I just thought about? This will be our longest vacation ever! Usually our vacations aren't that long- and our LONGEST one (much longer than normal vacations) was 12 days at WDW... we'll be on the cruise HALF A MONTH!

O.K., here's a thought on the whole no rooms available through DCL right now and WL people supposedly getting rooms.

Do you think by the end of this week, the GTY's and those that want to switch their location will have a chance? IC should (yeah, that is a big should) clear that WL by early this week, and once their 3 day deposit rule ends, maybe the ressies will open up.

Just a thought.

Maybe this is where some people were getting the 6th from. Although that wouldn't make sense since if cancellations/non-bookings cleared going into the 4th, it would be the 7th when the deposits would be due.

Well, here's hoping.

Happy Monday everyone. It's COLD here ... but apparently that's no news flash Kids DID have school today ... it's not yet cold enough to keep the busses from starting. Today is also report card day Might have to leave work early so that I can be home when the kiddos get there. I'm hoping for good reports so that we can go out to dinner tonight ... but I'm afraid DS10 let his school work slack this term

DS's school was late on getting the word out today too. He is off.

The main school system in our area, Milwaukee Public, was adamant last night that they were NOT going to close today. Well at 4:30 this morning they decided to close the schools. Guess they must have got a lot of flack.

It was -14/-32WC when we got up this morning in MKE. Out by us it was -20/-39WC.

Ohhh...you are really feeling it! Good thing is it's really sunny here, so I've got all of the blinds open along the back of out house,and the sun is keeping the house nice and toasty warm.

We are out of everything, and I was going to do a big grocery trip today. Well....no way are they going with me on that errand!

I can't imagine having snow in addition to the cold. I would freeze trying to clear the drive way.

that's what my DH gets to do tonight!!! - I don't even lnow how to operate the snow blower....I don't mind shoveling the walk and top of the driveway - the machine just scares me a little.....

Tug hill Plateau - north of here - got 5 inches of snow per hour at times yesterday and winds on top of it - blizzard conditions They are forecasting 1-3"/hr here for today - it is just starting to kick in now.... I tried to get Dh to come back and work from home, but he is stuck in classes....
