I see we have alot of GTY. I'm glad I know where I'll be, but I do believe having a GTY gets you a better chance at an upgrade than a room assignment

Not true...thought I think that any upgrade will be very rare on this sailing. We have only booked room numbers and have been upgraded 2 out of 4 cruises. One was 3 cats & one was 4 cats.

Oh good grief.

I've tried my derndest to get caught up but to no avail. Ever since DH shocked me by actually booking this cruise - I never thought he'd take that much time off work for a vacation but certainly dreamed - I've been trying to read through this thread to see who's who and what's what. But every time I make a small dent I have to go take care of life. And by the time I come back to the computer I'm drowning in pages again. (I've never gotten any closer than "30 pages to go".) I guess I'll have to resort to the Cliff's Notes.

So I'll just jump in now and introduce myself.

Hi, I'm Robin. You've already "met" DH, ohanafamily. We have a 2 yo son, Ian, and Squirt

on the way. By the time this cruise rolls around Ian will be 3 1/2 and Squirt will be 15 mo. This will be our 5th DCL cruise, the last one - DVC Member Cruise - back in October.

I've been trying to send in our family info for the website but keep getting SA message. Guess I need to have DH look at it again, tell me what I have set up incorrectly still.

I can't tell you how excited I am about this cruise. Actually I think I'm still kind of in shock. My dream has been to to back-to-back 7-days but this is even better! I look forward to getting to know everyone here over the next 18 months and then meeting y'all onboard!

I must confess... #1) This is a distant post from earlier today but over 1000 posts away from the current posting... but I am going to try to see if I can read every posting I missed today (sunday)... and as such as I pick up where I left off - I saw your posting here introducing yourself... and I was struck by how wonderful and heartwarming your coments were. My compliments!

So... at any rate... here is a hearty welcome to our sailing!!! Funny how I do believe that technically.... all of us booked on the same day! And as such, am I entitled to having welcoming powers to newish additons to the madness here - like your family??? At any rate... I HAVE self appointed myself as temporary ambasador for the thread (at least for the nite shift) and am offerring the animated welcome in honor of your inclusion among our swelling ranks of pirate folk!

And just for kicks.... the only way I can be sure you'll see this is by PMing you... so it shall be....

At any rate, now to resume my vain attempt to treat this as an ordinary thread... with insane volume!!!

I used to teach swim lessons to both kids and adults...and also to the handicapped. Do you need lessons? And what category do you fit into?

Theresa, I don't know if you remember me, but we were on the Eastern Nov. 26, 2005 cruise together. We met at the cruise meet?
I am so excited to see we will be sailing together again, and what a cruise too!! I feel so fortunate to even be on it.

I tried to call last night at about 7:25 EST, DCL closed at 8:00 last night, and I got the message that I had a hold time of 49 minutes. Needless to say, I put my deposit down on the computer. I didn't want to take the chance of not getting my deposit in.

Well now...

that's cuttin' it a little close don't ya think?
