That is a long time to keep a secret !!

We've already been thru this. Back when I thought about wearing a bright neon pink shirt with lime green lettering. But then I realized, it's not that *I* want to be noticed, it's that I want to be able to find other DIS'ers (without staring at chests to see the logo)

My DW and DD prefer my cooking in this house, I've been cooking since I was about 12. With my DW being so short (4'7") her mother wouldn't let her near the stove growing up for fear she would get hurt. My DW really never started cooking until after we got married. My DW is known as "The Package Food Queen" in our house!!! Hey, at least it's food, that's also why I don't complain about any food I get on the ship!!!

That would have described me before I learned how to use the crockpot more last year thanks to our cruise thread.

Same here. We really wanted as far Aft as we could get. Really liked Deck 5, hardly any traffic.

I love deck 5 - it is so quiet and hardly any traffic back the the rooms. We had 5122 in Dec and I was really hoping I could snag it again for this one, but somehow I don't think that will happen.

Any Dungeons & Dragons players out there going on this cruise? We just got back from a cruise with my brother and he had all his books with him in case we had time to game. He's hoping to join us on this cruise (we have space for him in our staterooms) and he's eyeing the many sea days as an opportunity to get some gaming in. Just thought I would check.

And a WAY off topic question, anyone going to GenCon Indy 2007? Just thought it would be neat to meet some of you before the cruise...

DH used to play D&D, but is now into Axis & Allies, which is a board game that could esiely take an entire sea day to play

I think you need to read the rest of my post to understand what I meant about Texas. Ofcourse we're not leaving from Texas.

I think some people who say black is thinning, they like black, etc. are missing the point of the shirts. It's not about what looks GOOD, it's about what is NOTICABLE so we can see one another. That is the point of the shirts isn't it?

I didn't notice any black tshirts in the terminal last time.

Yes there is another but it is no where complete or ready for print ...I did that real quick and the elements are to small at the moment ...I am waiting for High Res copies of the Elements that I need to finish it ...

Here is one I have been working on , but it is no where near done

And Yes , I had the Lime Green in there before anyone said anything ...remember this is not finished ..

Walk a mile on Deck 4 every morning is good for me, did it on my last 2 cruises (well maybe not every morning - but will be this time) and didn't gain a pound. Unfortunately, I am not a gym person, but walking, swimming and any other kind of outdoor activity will help. The Zip Line Tour in PV is awesome, will definitely do that again!!!!

BTW, anyone out there with older kids, really having a hard time keeping up with this thread, and haven't got to that part with anyone yet. I have spent the last hour reading, and feel like I am getting absolutely nowhere, anyone else feel that way????

OY BOY!!! The one with the white background on the screen will actually be able to be cut out so that it is only the skull & crossbones so that the white doesn't get ironed onto the black shirt. Actually, using the black background will help the iron on material blend with the shirt...the reason for using the dark fabric iron on material. Kapeesh?

When speaking with my TA last week, she said she would work on early seating for dinner and my cabin assignments. She asked if I wanted a Cat 6 on deck 5. Being completely FREAKED OUT by the entire process this time around, I said okay. I still don't have any assignment, but are the Cat 6's on deck 5?

My husband & I were on the Disney Christmas 2006 cruise. Loved it. We are now booked on the eastbound repositioning cruise. A friend we met on the Christmas cruise told us about the disboards and how informative they were.

We would like to 'join' and get excited with others who will be on the cruise with us.
