A lot of schools in our area closed today (but not ours). Which is good, because I didn't even think to check this morning before I got the kids up and sent them on their way. (SWMBO is out of town, so I get to play SuperDad this week).

They are supposed to e-mail us, but the last time they closed, I got the e-mail ten minutes AFTER the bus would have arrived for my middle schooler.

Drat! The dryer just stopped. Wonder how many pages it is going to take me to fold a load of clothes?

When you get a quote through a TA they give DCL all you info and then you have extra time to decide.

I don't think you can do it online. But through a travel agent or maybe calling DCL directly, they hold the room for you and you have 3 days to put down the deposit.

Ahh that explains a lot! We booked online and had to pay the deposit right then. Thankfully the bank upped my debit card purchase limit when I told them to!

You know, I complain, but I'm actually really glad we're having a good hard freeze. Maybe the allergens and mosquitos won't be quite as bad this spring and summer!

Yes - and some of the other evil insects like longhorn beatles and green ash borer will also take a hit!!! I just wish we had a decent snowcover here to protect the plants - some of the more tender perennials probably won't make it ....

It was -10 when we got up, -6 when DS got on the bus and is now all the way up to 0.

I was just reading an article last week about how the NFL donates the useless merchandise to a charity that gives it to people in needy countries. The article had a picture of some guy in Uganda with a "Seattle Seahawks NFL Championship" hat.

So somewhere in Africa next year, the Bears WILL be Super Bowl Champions.

I don't know about DisneyVegas1, but I would always vote for black -- bracelets, shirts, anything . . . but a little lime green on a bracelet wouldn't be too bad. You are right that they would definitely stand out!

Well, I'm sorry but I just don't agree with wearing black (especially with the dark logo we have- it won't be noticable? we'll have to stare at chests to see if it's our logo to recognize people from our group?) in August... and I'm not all that keen on white either. Just call me difficult. I don't care. LOL

We will be using the one with the white background for the black shirts and the one with the black background for the white shirts...so both will show up nicely. It is not hot & humid in CA like it is in the east & in TX. There is little to no humidity so black isn't going to be the same there like it would be here in NC in August. People reported all during the summer in 2005 how chilly it was for the entire cruise including when they were sailing off.
