Hello, everyone.

We're officially including ourselves in this cruise thread.

We have a gty CAT 11 as it stands. We're Me (31) and DS (11). He's excited about the teen program. We're traveling with my parents as well. No one in my family seems as excited as I am about this trip. I see this is a VERY active thread. I won't be able to keep up with all the posts, but I'll hang around a bit. I'm generally a lurker, as you can see by my post count. I've been on the dis for 3 years and I have less than one hundred posts!

Boy and I only thought Representatives from Louisiana kept tens of thousands of dollars in their freezers. Guess between the mattresses would be too hot . . . LOL

If you link dining with the DIS group you will know before you board what your seating will be. Early will have 6 pm and late looks like will be at 8 pm. Last cruise I was able to have all of the WLE people switched to early at the 90 day point once final payments had been made.

you really are amazing!! that will be so great...there is no way my kids could do late dining!! yes, we are somewhat odd...and our kids will most likely eat dinner with us every nite instead of with kids club....LOL!!

I heard the Stock Market was doing well today. I guess DCL cashed our deposits.

Sweet kid! DS gave a presentation with a photo program to his class after our 12/9 cruise. At the end someone asked him how much a trip like that costs. He said "about a million dollars." His teacher emailed me about it and said it made her laugh. A friend called later that night to ask if I had an extra million that I could lend her so they could go.

My DS6 thinks the cruise costs about $100. You should have seen his face when I pointed out that he got roughly $100 in souvenirs during our last DCL-WDW trip.

I'm great at finding every trick to save $$, but not THAT great! Heck, by the time we take our seats on the plane we've spent $100.

Lisa -- How do we go about linking our reservation to the DIS group? I would really like the 8 PM slot. We have been at 8:30 PM the last two cruises. Although I prefer late seating, I kept wishing it was just a bit earlier . .

After the website is set up & filled with all the information flooding my inbox I can start collecting that info. I will need your names, kid's ages, room number & resie number. I'm not going to do much with the info until we get to about 6 months out...so can wait until then to collect it. You will be able to include everyone in your party with the request, not just those in your family that will be listed on the website.

It was only with Stacey's guidance in the beginning that I was able to get this done last time. Our kids don't like to eat with the clubs either & they enjoy going to the shows.

Caroline, when you read this, I asked about your case if your DH can't go and you have to switch the two girls into your room & she said that will be fine. It is when everyone in the room is changed that it is going to change the price after the deposit has been made.

So hopefully it will be OK when we have to change the name/DOB on our child...I had spoken with DCL days before booking to make sure that we would be able to switch it, and they said that it would all be OK. But I didn't think to ask if the prices would change when we go to switch the reservation! I hope it doesn't cause too much of a price change. That would be bad...

Lisa, I'm getting nervous again. On past Disney cruises we were able to squeeze into the early seating, but I don't feel confident with this cruise. It has taken on a life of it's own. We have small kids.

The whole dining thing makes no sense to me. My TA go in early enough to get (what I can only assume to be) Tier 1 or 2 pricing & an actual room assignment, but Main (uhh Captain's) dining was not available?? Now we all know how early they switched to GTY rooms - how was there no early dining left when they were still assigning actual room numbers

Here's hoping the WL & Lisa super powers do the trick!
