Diane I can't belive I missed your Bday! Hope it was great! The Pats game was great wasn't it!?

Esteri: You are Awesome!

1) Tell us something about your spouse we probably don't know...?
He is a romantic:love:

2) Have you considered any new Years' resolutions? If so, would you like to share them?
Need to lose 3 inches or more...will save me $$ on my wedding dress!

3) When you proposed or were proposed to last - what was passing through your mind silently? Anything in particular worth sharing?
What is wrong with his camera? and Oh my god that ring is sparkly!

4) If you have a PET... what did he or she do the last time they were "naughty"?
Peanut ate the cream cheese out of all the stuffed celery on the table during the holidays!

5) When was the last time you were sick more or less? What did you comedown with?
Last year...suddenly lost all color in my face and nearly fainted...included not holding any food down for one week.....

Chrissie

Chrissie normally August is warm/hot. Temp in Anaheim will run in the mid-80's but could get up to over 100. Nights are probably in the low to mid 60's. One thing about DL though is that it always gets chilly at night even in the summertime due to the water. Remember too that our first day at sea will be chilly high-50's-mid-60's.

I'm with you. I'd much rather have a wenchy tanktop. Maybe not a cami type though. I like the ribbed knit ones, like this

cheapestees-store_1979_1065988

I prefer this style as well. NOBODY wants to see me in one of the strappy tank tops...trust me!

OK it's going to be what like 10 million degrees in the tropics in mid August.

Why in the heck would i want to cover up.....? (whatever body type)

I like 10 million degrees!!!:thumbsup2 Ask anyone that knows me that I love 90 degree and above temperatures. :cloud9: I will be the woman walking around the ship with a sweatshirt on over my formal.:rotfl:

Lucky you! Our wind chill factor this morning was 18 below! Tomorrow temps will be below zero here :cold:

But did you see the warm-up coming? Going to hit 50 on Sunday!!!:woohoo:

Something along the lines of this?

You just remember that when my bar bill comes to your cabin... :rotfl2:

Could the bar bill be expensive??

Here's the one for Cheryl and I. Found it on the website.

ltta.jpg

A little more forgiving. It's bad enough that I have to see my lumps, bumps and rolls, let alone half the ship!

You got that right!!!:thumbsup2

We should close in 3 weeks...... The walls are a light tan & so is the bathroom. I can buy lavender/purple linens and towels. :goodvibes

I could live with tan!!!!:flower3: A splash of lavender and I might not want to leave.

I will probably need to have any full length dress I get shortened because I'm only 5'4" and hate to wear high heels. So I figure that I will probably get the dress altered around the top as well if needed:confused3
I may change my mind after I lose some weight, but I prefer to have people looking me in the face when they talk to me:rolleyes1

I think I was 130 when I last felt comfortable wearing tank tops:rolleyes:
;)
Long long time ago

Laura, I am 5'4" too!!! :goodvibes I only wear flat shoes!!! I gave up wearing heels even way back when I was in my twenties!!:rolleyes1 I always buy petite length.:rolleyes1

If Cheryl is like me ...it isn't the body type BUT, the age of the body! :rotfl: :rotfl: I'm closer to looking at 50 then I am 40!!!! :rotfl2:

If you are closer to 50.....does that make me closer to 70??? I don't think so!!!:lmao: :lmao:

Happy Birthday Pamela!

Happy Birthday Pdarrah!!!!!!!! And many more!

Thank you to everyone!!!! I have had a nice day. My DS8 came home last night, so my family is all here. I had to work today, but my parents took me (and DS) out to lunch. AND DH gave me MY CAMERA!!! I got the Canon Eos Rebel XTi!!! :thumbsup2 :cool1: :dance3: :yay: :woohoo: Hopefully, I can get outside tomorrow evening and get some photos of the Xmas lights before DH takes them down! With that 50 degrees Cheryl mentioned coming this weekend, he plans to start getting lights off the trees.

I still need to do some ketchup - but I wanted to take a moment to thank everyone for the Birthday wishes. This is a date that often gets forgotten, so I always appreciate hearing (reading) a "Happy Birthday"!

Pamela (pdarrah)

Good afternoon fellow pirates pirate:

Still on holidays here as the kids don't go back to school til Monday. I'm self-employed, so I have a fair bit of say of when I work and not. Kids not in school = me not working. Works for me :)

Anyways, I need some air travel timing help. I'm going to book a return flight from here to LAX and back as I have airmiles = no airfare cost just the taxes portion. So, I have to book that flight separate from the MCO to LAX portion. What time is safe from booking from MCO to LAX? I'm thinking around noon. Then thinking that an around 6pm departure from LAX back home will work? Right now - the best I can find is about $240.00 person from MCO to LAX, so any help in finding something cheaper would be appreciated. I know I saw something in the neighbourhood of $100 each last August.

Thanks, Esteri for the one or two sided option on the t-shirts. I know you don't want numbers but we're probably interested in 4 white t-shirts, a couple of pilllowcases and possibly a tote - in case you are trying to get an idea of what people will want.

Noon should be fine, you could probably do a little earlier if you want, but not much if we have any delays.

Best I have seen for cross country flight is in the $160 range and not the best times.

I was just on the DCL website and was reading this description of our cruise:

"15-Night Panama Canal Cruise - East
Return to Port Canaveral on an unforgettable adventure along the Mexican Riviera and the Caribbean. Hit the links at a championship golf course or enjoy the view of El Arco in Cabo San Lucas. Shop, sightsee or savor the flavor of an authentic Mexican lunch in Puerto Vallarta, and delight in the area's old-world charm and contemporary style. Bask on the beach in Acapulco before beholding the La Quebrada Cliff Divers as they plunge down from mountainous peaks into the bay. Embark on the journey of a lifetime as you wind your way along the historic Panama Canal — the manmade trade route that connects the Atlantic and Pacific Oceans. Wander the ancient walled city in Cartagena or visit a local museum. Scuba dive above a historic shipwreck in Aruba and explore Oranjestad before sailing to Disney's private isle, Castaway Cay. And enjoy time spent at sea where top-notch entertainment, dining and activities surround you at every turn."

So I'm still holding out hope that DCL will work something out so that we can see the cliff divers.

Mike:

ACA port dude on CC said that the ship can arrange for a private showing of the divers outside of the regular times, so there will probably will be a morning show. It sounds like you can also find guides to take you to areas to see it on your own, too, if you want. You just have to pay more than the usual amount.

This must be DCL further clarifying their program.

Onboard Airline Check-In Program:

Disney Cruise Line has announced that the Onboard Airline Check-In program will be offered to all DCL Guests via the DCL Guest Ticket Booklet beginning January 2008.

Guests who have purchased Disney Cruise Line Air and/or Ground Transfers can now register for Onboard Airline Check-in at the terminal or at their resort. Guests who book their air through DCL or provides their independent air arrangements in advance will receive a form with the information filled in. Blank forms will also be available. These are to be turned in at the port or at the resort's guest services.

Guests who do pre-register will receive their airline boarding pass and will check-in their luggage while onboard the ship.

Please note: As of Jan. 12, the airline check-in adjacent to the Disney Cruise Line bus terminal will be discontinued as it is being provided onboard.

**I guess this means I can cancel my huge 15 passenger van for a car we actually have a chance of steering.
I did find it funny though that this time there is not a mention of "participating airlines" like there was before.**

Good golly the gym was crowded tonight!
Unfortunatly, the Latin salsa aerobics class gave me a huge taco craving.

Me too! Me too! My kids have known and used the correct name for body parts since they were babies.

I do sometimes say "p" for urinate (:scared: don't cringe!), but proper terminology is used for all body parts.

I tried the proper terminology with my kids, but DH freaked out when DS2-ish started refering to him, ummmm, as his "peanut"

i was just thinkin' something more... uh Wenchy pirate: .... and less wifebeater....

like these (and this one goes up to an XXL)

Yes, I need to follow my vacation dressing rules. No shirts with sleeves, no shoes with toes.

Something along the lines of this?

Tell you what - any one who is interest in something that is not a unisex t-**** or tank - go here and let me know what you DO find interesting. www.dharmatrading.com I'm willing to order just about anything from these guys and get it printed. They have lots of stuff in white - the selection for black is more limited.

Also, many sleeveless shirts with full coverage.

A good source for black "formal wear". These are my favorite set of black pants - you'll be seeing them alot on the cruise. $20, plus another $7 at the local tailor to have them altered a bit.

2 wine packages for the table, right Esteri??

Thanks for the quote, Mike. I've printed it out for my file - it'll come in handy when I do the scrapbook of our cruise. I have my fingers crossed that we get to see the cliff divers as well. :woohoo:

Another update complete, this one courtesy of (the incredible, phenomenal) Craftymouse .....

CARTAGENA

One downside, she makes my OMD (Obsessive Mouse Disorder) appear in the normal range!!!

Only kidding, but she put it together since about 4 this afternoon!
