DH is actually quite excited about the Commodore. (He may actually be a real life Commander by then, too!)

Oh, I'll have to scan a photo in when I get home tonight. If anyone will have a toddler, I think I still have a parrot costume. DS8 was 14 months for Halloween - DH & I dressed as pirates & we made DS a great parrot costume. He trick-or-treated riding on DH's shoulder. Very cute.

So I've seen lot's of folks talk about early vs. late seating for dinner...but what about the dining rotation or is that something else I've missed?

For those that want to participate, Lisa will work on getting us all in the same rotation and at tables near each other. She's got plenty of time for that though.

I think that is a done deal. I'm under the impression that the all powerful Lisa can arrange it so we have whatever rotation necessary to put us in PC (oh no, another PC!!!!) Parrot Cay for pirate night.

Trust me I can deliver , just as long as there are no wardrobe malfunctions , and Tequila doesnt have any part of the hours prior to dinner ....I do plan to make a few speeches standing on top of some chairs ...So be aware of that

Actually I believe she is shooting for LAP ...for the early dining ...this would put us at the 6pm mark ....but we wont know if this puts us in PC for Pirate night due to the fact this is a Repo and at this point we dont know when or if there will be a Pirate night that DCL will be doing ...Now of course we may do our own if we have to ...and We can make it one of the nights that we are in PC

The first Pirate Night started back in the Summer of 2004. We sailed in August 2004 and I think we were the second or third sailing with the "new" Pirate IN the Carribean Night.

... I can have a professional telprompter shipped to the ship. We can get video cameras and feed to projectors and screens so everyone will get an unobstructed view of your captain's address.

OK... I've been sort of busy these past couple of days and have not been following (give me more time and I'll come up with MORE excuses). So I have graciously decided to spare myself from more sufferring and I'll start following the thread from HERE. And casually read backwards as I follow the news moving forward. SO from page 323 (was that it???) to here I am uninformed and clueless. I may miss the implied reason and you'll have one (or more) on me.

At any rate.... shall we arrange for the captains' address - or why not just run a semi-private DIS Captain's reception party? As many DIS folks as we're likely to have - I might need an appointment to get a picture with YOU! Let alone meet ya to threaten with my band of little pirates in tow!

I know... I'm no Jack Sparrow - nor am I any POTC character - I am merely a "character"... as such, my costume is at least unconventional.​
