PJ, as far as WB logo...they (we) can have an "official" one all we want...but to me and what I will use....HAS to have CJS in it....or, come on, it can't be a true logo....

I think I was able to follow orders and get that banner ... we'll see :stitch2:

Sure has been a L O N G day. And methinks it's gonna be a long 18 months too ;)

After a very stressful morning...I was finally able to get through and make our reservation!!!!!!! :cool1: :cheer2:

Congrats to all!

Now time to catch up with my reading.

Yeah, and I got to thinking- our cat 6 verandah for FIFTEEN NIGHTS is really close to what we'd have paid for a 7 night in the same category- whether it was the mexican riviera cruise or a regular one! So you can't beat that...
The only reason I worry about the location is that our cat 11 MUST be near our cat 6- or we can't go. Period. I'm not about to have our kids sleeping in a stateroom on another floor or clear the other side of the ship even on the same deck... and it wouldn't be much fun with Jeff and I splitting up every night either. I guess that might be doable but what a pain when getting ready/etc. if we were seperated far away. I'm not worried about it right now though- hopefully it won't be an issue later to get them close. :)

We've never paid this much for a Cat. 6 but I keep telling myself it's a trip of a lifetime! ;)

I hope it all works out for you too! It has been a trying day for a lot of people. I was a bit nervous because I didn't book on board & I didn't know if I should attempt to book myself blah blah blah...but I can't complain because I got in the website right away before it crashed & even got the room I wanted. I feel so bad for those on the phone for hours & I can't believe some people are just finding out if they even got a reservation. Nail biting to say the least!

Cheers everyone! "Why is the rum all gone?" pirate:

How are the amounts of the OBC figured? I thought it said $150-300 OBC, well how do you know which one you received? Is it based on amount spent or category booked? Anyone know?

Thanks!!! :goodvibes

We have a gty cat 9 total for 3A 1C(17) is 7212.96, I went ahead and paid the deposit for all four of us, didn't want to have the change anything just yet. We'll see how things go, maybe my mom will still be able to go afterall.
Congratulations, Andy! After this long and trying day, I'm glad that you got your reservations. I was sincerely hoping that you and your family would be able to go!

Our quote for a gty cat 9 for half the number of people (2A as my C12 is the second person in the cabin) comes to around $1000 under yours. Barring anything extraordinary (such as hitting the Lotto tonight), I'm afraid that we're out. But since "one never knows," I won't be releasing our reservation until tomorrow. Wish us luck, people!

We are looking forward to getting to know everyone here. I know of a few others from the 2006 DVC Members that are joining us as well.

If you look on the DU website it has the breakdown. I know it's 300 for cat. 1-7 on the repos.

Nevermind on the question abou the OBC because I found where it's listed on the website. So we're looking at $500 OBC from the TA and how much was the OBC for rebooking onboard? Was it $100 per room or $150 per room or what? I can't remember... I've slept since then (atleast a LITTLE! ;) )

We tend to cruise at the end of August when the prices are a bit less. But not this one! :rotfl:

pirate: OK, I'm having trouble typing, but look what has been added in my siggie!!! pirate:

YYYAAAAYYYYY!!

I feel like this is finals week! I've been up since 3:45 am - totally stressed, it's now 5 pm and I still have about another 6 hours of my day to go. Ugh!

All these details crack me up! Which airport should we fly in to? I have no flippin' clue what airport I will be flying FROM!!! Hmmm, at what point in the salary negotiation should I bring up that I need 2 weeks off in Aug. '08.

For the benefit of those who haven't read the 6,000 pervious posts, we are moving this summer. Don't know where, don't know when, but gosh darn it I know where we will be spending our 2008 vacation! :dance3:

I just wanted to drop in and say hi :)...My mom and I will be joining you all on this cruise....managed to snag a cat 6....not exactly sure how we will be affording the cruise, plus airfare, and a couple of days in CA, but more importantly, I may have to call in "dead" to work, because I work in retail and don't really have vacation time....just a small problem, that I need to figure out sometime in the next year and half, worse case I'll quit....the cruise is worth it!!! :):):):)
