Did anyone just have their clothes shrink just hanging in the closet for months??????

Alicia has an old neptune - and she wants to "consider" one of those steaming things as a washer - and she talks about the conveniences of changing the washer (or dryer?) to a front loader - seein' as shes' not the tallest female out there - so reaching over the top to load the dryer (or washer) is a slight chore. Whatever... she wants to change one of the washing or drying machines.

Aside from that - we got under 4 hours to go til we motor out to Logan. The arboreum is MAYBE on the agenda - or swimming at an indoor pool at my BILs' tennis club. I would rather sit back at the house - eat more and just stretch out with eyes closed. Oh well...

So... can anyone tell if I've gained any weight over the T-holidays? And these will probably be the last baby pictures posted - as I know I've posted a couple already. But ... he is SOOOOO charming a critter!​

Ok what about me LG, I can think of some very good nicknames for me at the moment,

I went to Hospital this morning to have some bone marrow taken out for examination.

This involved four holes being drilled in my right hand side Butt, right up and into the hip bone and boy does it hurt.

The Doctor said I had very strong bones, he couldn't do two holes as my bones were so strong, good news as I am on steroids and they waste bones.

Now -don't laugh, I cannot sit on my right hand side, the 'local' has worn off and I have a pain in my XXXX!

Oh Andrew, I feel so sorry for you. Don't you know nothing ever happens to bad people. So with all this going on, you must be one of the good guys.

MY wish is for you to just find out what is making you sick and get the right stuff to fix it.

My best friend and I have worked in hospitals for over 25 years. we always say the same thing. Bad things never happen to the jerks. The stories always start with: "nicest people you ever want to meet..."

Things have finally slowed down here. My DS came in from Michigan like a tornado and then leaves like a hurricane. I usually spend days straightening the house after he vivists.

DH and I are going to Wisconsin for the weekened to stay with people from my cruise in 2006. These people we met on the Dis Board and ate together on our 10 day cruise. The funny thing is they still like us and want to see us. The Dis can make life long friends.

Could we please speed things up for the pirate run. I have to learn how to handle all this speed with my cable hook-up.

Tomorrow I will post some pics of my tree. It looks really good now with all the disney ornaments and Mickey garland. I didn't get a chance yet to make the styrofoam Mickey heads............maybe next year. I did however make 6 glass ornaments Disney style. They were only 2.50 for a package of 6 at Michaels. i put some ice glace inside and stickers on outside. I know I did a good job because even Brooke is impressed.

Did you or anyone else see that funny story on the news about the escaping turkey's on Thanksgiving day? About 30 birds were walking in this couple's yard and she saw all of them. Next thing you know they wen't in her trees. They picked a great house..............they don't eat meat.

I know exactly what you're saying. I've been saying the same thing since my surgery and all of its mini-setbacks. But I've also reminded myself that this is nothing compared to what some people must face every day.
But still, your pain is very real, and you're entitled to complain about it.

My DH had about 5 BM biopsies back in 1986-87 (Aplastic Anemia). They medicated him pretty heavily during the procedures. He doesn't really remember them too well (kinda like the pain of childbirth, just shorter )
Abnormal results are usually expedited, so waiting is good

Monica: I will find out on Dec. 16th if I get to host the party or not. The only thing I would be concerned about is flying into and out of Chicago. Boy do they have alot of delays and they cancel flights due to weather.

What a great surprise to come home to last night. My Secret Mickey package arrived full of goodies - a magazine, sugar-free chocolate and a Barnes & Nobles gift card (with a pirate on it). I was having a very bad day, so it came at just the right time. Things have gotten so bad at the job I used to love that I am thinking of quitting after the first of the year if it doesn't improve. Of course the new job would have to give me 2 weeks off in August!!

I need your closets... I have some pants i just bought a couple months ago and they're too big now. I tried to shrink em'. Even the old navy pants i bought 3 weeks ago are looser.

It's nice to get something in the mail instead of bills for a change. Good luck in finding another job. I would get another if not happy. It just effects you in really stressful ways. Telling future emp. right up front will help you get those 2 weeks off.

I have been to o'hare and midway since being here and at first I thought the "idea" would be great because of all the choices and direct flights. There are cons about it for sure. When I used to fly out of small Rochester airport I could never I mean never get a decent airfare. So you end up giving a little to get wan't you want.

Sounds like your SM package arrived on just the right day. Terri, it is really difficult to spend so many hours of your life somewhere that you aren't happy. Hopefully your situation improves there
