I have a typo that puts Crash's PLAM TREE to shame. The receptionist at my office (who reports to me) sent me an email that said we were out of "bowels" in the kitchen. At least I hope it was a typo!! Crash don't even try to come up with a graphic for that one. Or you most certainly will be edited.

Terri, personally I would be relieved to hear that there were no bowels in the kitchen, but perhaps a little concerned that there was even the need for reassurance . . .

Good Morning everyone! TGIF! DD got a package from her Secret Mickey last night. She was so excited. She got POTC pencils and lanyard, pirate tatoos, a cute pillow that says You Go Girl on it and a $10 Claires gift card. She says her Secret Mickey is the best!

I didn't realize they had earthquakes in the Caribbean. Seems like there are earthquakes everywhere nowadays. . .(except Virginia of course . . .)

When I used to travel to CA a lot, I kept hoping to see what a earthquake was like . . just a little mild shaking . . .

Has anyone been through an earthquake?

We have had a couple the past 20 years, nothing like CA. There is a fault line in Lake Erie that goes through PA. They always seem to roll east to west. I remember one in 1986 and 1999.

Lets see now, we have Tom (Crash) attracting earthquakes and Tom (Tom31b) who has an affinity for hurricanes. Maybe we should get the two of them a dingy so we can send them away from the Magic if their attractive powers start bringing us any of these natural phenomenons.

Just a quick hello. I am working from home today till 6:30. Computer running slow this morning, maybe I can ketchup up here a little.

I don't know how you guys work and dis? Maybe I just can't multi task like you.

It still looks beautiful but how about adding some satin ribbon around the outside to replace the glass? Sort of like those satin Easter eggs people make? Not that I'm crafty or anything.
Nice job! But aren't you suppose to be working?

I spent so much time chipping the glass away, I didn't want to put anything more into. good suggestion though. I made buckets when I was suppose to be recovering. Now I am working and trying to dis.

So how's everyone doing on their shopping? I did quite a bit of cyber shopping on Monday & I completed most of things on the kid's lists. Some things I have to go out & get, just because I need to really look at them & compare, and of course stocking stuffers. Otherwise I think I did okay. Not sure if I got any great deals or anything, but I didn't have to fight any crowds so that in itself is priceless to me.

Of course DD remarks to me this morning that she forgot to add a North Face jacket to her list. Oh sure honey...what's one more thing! She just got her Ugg boots that she just HAD to have. That money tree sure is getting sparse!

Now I'm off to the school library to enter some books in the system. This Saturday is our big school Holiday Fair so I have to help prepare for that too & of course I'll be working the refreshment stand & Santa pics all day. Why oh why do I volunteer for this stuff? Probably because it keeps me from doing other pressing things!

I am pretty much done. Now i am working on the cards.

You're amazing! And so detail-oriented. Much more impressive than just happening to press "reply" on the Dis right at a 000 mark, in my opinion! (But you'll get a , I'm sure of it . . . )

Sometimes it's the details that can drive you crazy.

I am sure Chuck is quite capable of handling the new responsibilities of the new position!!! Congrats to him. Although all work and no play makes for a not exciting life. I guess I feel a little different because DH has been living on borrowed time for the last 19 years. His heart attacks made us appreciate life a little more than before and just have fun too!!! Chuck might decide he really needs a vacation by next August!!! Of course you and Brooke are most of the family(2out3) unless you count Dante.

Wow that is a great idea about the buckets. Very creative. I like the tree ornaments too!!! It is ashame you don't live closer. I do lots of crafting to. I will post pictures later.

Yes it was a good kind of busy. It is still hard dealing with the ever so changing events for my DS. Doesn't it feel good when you can try and blame somebody else.

Sorry forgot to mention since I wasn't on here yesterday..........
Chuck will be going on this Toal ! It may be the only vacation for next year but he was already approved for it !!


2nd thing...........I am going to put a deposit for the clubhouse. We can only have the party when office is closed so instead of doing a night one, I am planning one for Sunday March 30th.


I have a limit of only 50 people max. Everyone and anyone on this thread is invited !!!


I will take pictures this weekend of clubhouse and post for all to see. ( just keep in mind it's set-up for Christmas now. )

As long as I don't nail anything in wall..........I can pretty much do what I wan't and trust me the are already flowing.

I will host the party as a gift from us to you.

I also wan't to mention that Chuck & I don't want the liabilty issues for having Acohol so I hope that's o.k with everyone. There will be however plenty of food other things to drink and lot's of fun. Not to mention good company.

Evening all! I see I missed a run last night. Oh, well.

Tina you inspired me with your ornaments and I just bought a couple of packages of clear glass ornaments. I was going to try something I saw in a magazine, but dd has used up all the color toner!

Oh I am glad that I inspired somebody for something. Have fun making them.

Darn i need your friends realllllly bad.

I almost quit my job today. My boss is an add.

My computer died last wednesday and i had no access to the sytem until two days ago (monday) due to the holiday.

Apparently he was complaining to me that it was my fault that i was a week late (ie 7 days) on the projects i had due that day.

UGGGGGG!!!!

Actually it was only 2 business days since i have no access to the building on holidays or weekends (again he says that's my fault.)

Double UGGGGGG!!!!

I was so mad i was shaking.....

I almost have to quit because my next person up the management chain is best friends with my boss.

Time to re-type the old resume i guess...Maybe re-build some bridges....

Venting always HELP. Chin up and hoping it works out whatever you decide to do.

Look what my Secret Mickey / Minnie sent me! I got this while we in boston - but I waited until now because I had misplaced my camera and wanted to shoot pictures! Well... I found my camera so we opened the package tonite!

My office, about a year ago (in two weeks it will be exactly a year), had supervisors and security show up in 50 or so offices saying "Your services are no longer needed, please pack your desk, this security officer will escort you out."
