I remember my cousin found one of her Beagles teeth on the floor and decided to put it under the pillow. Well let me tell you that little fairy had one wicked sense of humor. When Linda woke up and checked under her pillow the next morning, the Tooth Fairy had left her a Bone!!:lmao:

:rotfl2: :lmao: :rotfl:

BLECH! I hate seeing anyone's rear end -- I really don't care how young, tanned or toned you are! At least it was in the adult area!

Thank you! We had one on our last cruise too (was the main topic of discussion in the laundry room). She probably looked just fine in it,15 yrs ago, but she had an awful lot of Cottage Cheese on those thighs and booty to be wearin' one now! Wish you could have seen Mickey Mouse run the other way when she headed towards him, it was hilarious! :lmao:
And believe me, she wasn't dressed much better at dinner. She would have fit in much better at a Hedonisome(sp?) resort.

Speaking of teeth. We used to save them (for what we never knew)
We had a Hockey team here for a brief while and one of the promotions to get free tickets was to bring in a baby tooth and they gave you the tickets.

For all of you who sent prayers and well wishes, thank you. DD's surgery went well and she is now out of the hospital. Hopefully wiil be in chat. Jack:thumbsup2

Just wondering if anyone has any idea about Disney transport and which hotels they are recommending. We are wondering whether to book one of the Disney Hotels using our points but still need transport and do not know how far the hotels are from the docks. Help please any information would be great. Also are there any shops either at the docks or near the hotels. Early planning here and can book the fights before long so need to get things sorted.
Brenda

I read on another thread that you could do your check in at one of the Disneyland hotels if you did their transfers. Then they would check your luggage for you at the port. I couldn't find the thread again, so I don't know if anyone else verified what was posted. (Anybody here know?) I know it would be more expensive, but if we didn't have to juggle 10 suitcases and the 3 kids, it just might be worth it.

Very cute!!! :thumbsup2

One time, Angelina got $5 for a tooth left under her pillow, it seemed that night all the tooth fairy had left was a $5 dollar bill in her pouch when she paid her visit. The tooth fairy learned her lesson after that night!!! :lmao:

I remember once that our tooth fairy had to borrow a dollar from DD's bank to pay for her tooth, and then replaced it the next day.

ahhhh I love seeing those groups of girls too :lmao: :lmao: :lmao:

Just on eof the benefits of living in Vegas?!

My son lost a tooth once when he and I and his sister were visiting my parents in Nebraska. The Tooth Fairy wasn't quite prepared (she couldn't find Daddy's wallet in Nebraska...it was in AZ with him!) so my son obviously felt cheated.

After we got back home (in AZ) I overheard him telling his friend "Don't ever lose a tooth in Nebraska. The Tooth Fairy there is CHEAP!"

That's great news Jack. We'll keep her in our prayers for a full and speedy recovery.

Glad the hear that she is home - sending lots of pixie dust for a speedy recovery.

Breaking news.......

DD Sarah (6) lost her first tooth yesterday (she pulled it out at school). The Tooth Fairy duly made a visit and exchanged it for........A Disney Dollar (2007 Aerial Series).

What a great idea... DD is only 4 now, but I like the Disney Dollar idea. Maybe the Tooth Fairy is the Blue Fairy's cousin.

We got the Sakajaweya (spelled way wrong) dollar coins for TF duty. They were unique, easy and added to the illusion (who uses them elsewhere)

That & $2 bills...

Hurray. I'm glad your DD is doing well, Jack.

Ouch! $5 per tooth x how many teeth....

We did the same. BTW I'm not sure how to spell it either;)

Our family will be cruising with you in August 2008. I know lbgraves was collecting info before for the group but she said she isn't any longer. Is there still time to join up?

On our last cruise, there weren't any kids at our dining table. We have a DD7 who would love to have someone to chat and play with (she'll be 8 by then). If there's still time and anyone with another DD that age who would like to link main seating reservations, that would be great!

This will be our 5th Disney cruise and we're really looking forward to it! I popped in for a couple of Friday night chats before. Are those still going on?

Hi Sopandbass! We cruised together in January - although I don't think we ran into you very often. Our DS will be 9 for the cruise.

Tina - good luck with all the health issues - it sounds like you are keeping a positive attitude!

Mkygrl - Congratulations! It's so nice that you got a romantic proposal (most of us don't :rotfl2: )

GoofyForLife - please add us to your list for early diners who want to link with DIS folks. There are three of us - 2 adults and one DS9 (at cruise time). I have no idea if DS will actually dine with us or not - out of the 21 days we have spent on board (3 7-day cruises) he has dined with us 5 or 6 times total. THis is our first time with early dining, so it is possible he might decide to join us ...

Target had the D40 camera on sale this past week.....don't know if it still is, but it was a good price.

You do mean the Canon 40D ... right? I was not aware of Target carrying this? I just might go check it out tonite.

And look... only 345 more postings til the next Pirate Sprint. Hmmm.... I guess we'll be seein' that mad dash this weekend (most likely).

... we're supposed to have every family volunteer or something - and one of the 6 other families has only sent their daughter to the practices with a baby sitter......

I know it's tough for some folks to volunteer... but getting folks to do anything other then sign up thier kids is surprisingly tough for about half the families in our little team of 7 families.

So, you have a team of only 7 girls? Is this like a "tots" league? How many do you play on the field, and do you play a goalie yet?

DD7 plays up (U9) and they play 6v6, but they have a total of 12 girls on the team. That seams to be a good number as you inevitably have 1 or 2 missing from a game, and still allows for plenty of subs....we are playing on a bigger field this year, so they are getting tired out faster. Next year, U10 plays 8v8.

My DH coaches along with 2 other dads. He really enjoys it.....parents that don't get involved just don't know what they are missing!
