You can count me in this little club too Stacey! I have 2 bad knees. One since Jr. High ('70-'73). The left one used to dislocate all the time and the other is bone on bone. Just love the cold and rainy weather...not!

I wonder if JR has a picture of the plank in the set that had the deck 10 soda machine....![]()
Debi--I couldn't find the pic that I scanned in to my old desktop computer, but the pic of the knee below is just what my left knee looks like after having the partial knee replacement. If only one side of your knee is bone on bone, this is the way to go!!!

Anyone else like the fact Bush thumbed his nose at China by receiving the Dalai Lama at the White House? The Dalai Lama is to receive a Congressional Gold Medal on Wednesday. President George W. Bush will attend the ceremony, the first time that a sitting U.S. president has appeared with him in public.
Andy, these are Beautiful! I especially enjoyed the pool shots and the underwater ones are unbelievable!

You have no idea how difficult it is sometimes to find "apporpriate" images. Hence, many of my images are not quite appropriate! <chuckles> A near miss in the hand is worth 3 perfect opportunities missed entirely. I will admit thought... that searching for images is sometimes a "journey" all by itself sometimes.
I'm still sort of in a wierd state from the anti-sea sickness medication i took yesterday. Boy - that new ferry we tried was SMALL... and rough riding to Catalina. It was so bad it knocked out all three girls - and I very nearly tossed my cookies. Alicia let some cookies fly on the ride out. Anyway - I'm not feeling entirely myself today - but OK just the same.
Gee...........I didn't mean to scare everyone off..............![]()

The secret Santa sounds great. Count me in.
It really was great to get the latest newsletter. Thanks.
I haven't been on lately so playing ketchup. It has been a tough week. My dad passed away on Sunday and the funeral was today. The board has been a great diversion this week. Something to keep my mind off all that is going on around here. I feel the need to share with all of you fellow cruisers, even if I don't post too often. I usually get on a couple of time a day to read all the posts. (Shh, mostly when I have a lull at work.) I feel I know all of you and look forward to meeting you in person.
Now if I can figure out how to post all those great pictures. I have gotten as far as signing up at Photobucket.

Ahoy Crew -
I received the following email from our printer today.
I've let Walt know that he still has the project. He hadn't heard from us in a while as we'd decided to combine everything into a single order in the May 2008 timeframe. I've also asked that he send along the samples. Perhaps we can pass them around from DIS meet to DIS meet.
With the new technology pricing has changed. The good news is there are no more set up charges! (I'm reconfirming this with Walt, just to be certain.) As well, every piece we order counts towards the total quantity discount.
These are the estimated prices for t-shirts (estimated, as I've only taken a stab at sales tax, etc. in order to get this news out to you quickly.)
...................<200.... <300.... <400.... >401
Adult Black... $20.00.. $18.50. $16.25.. $15.25
Adult White.. $18.50.. $17.00. $15.00.. $14.00
Child Black.... $18.50.. $17.00. $14.50.. $13.75
Child White.... $16.00. $14.25. $12.75.. $12.00
He also sent prices for printing only on stuff that I send him - pillow cases and the like. I'll figure that out later.
Sorry about all the periods, it was the only way I could figure out to get the columns to line up.

The Dalai Lama, has lived in exile in India since staging a failed uprising against Chinese rule in 1959, won the Nobel Peace Prize in 1989 and he is to receive a Congressional Gold Medal (the highest honor a civilian may receive from Congress) on Wednesday.
I'm not going to be around (not that I post a lot) as I'm off to Cambodia tomorrow. I'm doing this trip for anyone interested http://www.intrepidtravel.com/trips/KSM with a couple of days either side in Singapore.

With that notion in mind - why should we wait until we sail before we have some extra fun? - would anyone be up for a PRE-CRUISE SECRET MICKEY game? We could gather names of those interested - and do a "gift exchange" on a secret basis by MAIL for Christmas, Thanksgiving and Valentines Day (maybe)? The gifts would all be modest - and perhaps tons of FUN and good for a few CHUCKLES!!!! I would be happy to assist on a committe to pull this off!
Hi all and welcome to those that have just found us![]()

Well, we are getting off of the ship in Cartagena, so I want to be prepared.![]()

Hi all,
I just wanted to give a big "thank-you" to Tom for the latest edition of the newsletter. I know I don't post much, but I try to read as much as I can and look forward to meeting everyone when we are finally on the ship. One of the reasons I have so little time (in addition to working) is that I am training for my very first full marathon this coming January at WDW. I am in my mid-fifties and overweight, so this is no small endeavor. I have been training since last January and have never worked so hard at anything in my life. I am relatively slow, so training consumes hours and hours each week. I noticed that sk8ingmom's DH is also doing it and wondered if there is anyone else who has signed up for either the Mickey(26.2 mi) or Donald (13.1).
We wanted to do the REAS package for this cruise. We figured we'd have time to relax and use some of the things like the Rainforest Pass, champagne breakfast, etc. Unfortunately, we found out that they don't offer the package on cruises that are longer than 7 nights. So no REAS for the TOAL.![]()
That seems just plain silly. Why on earth wouldn't they do it on longer cruises? It's not like it costs them extra or anything... Did they give you a reason or just say "Tough Luck!"?
