Here are thumbnail prints of the three poses we selected of Angelina's Senior Portraits. The proof with her holding the white rose will be going into the school yearbook. Hazel and I also selected that pose and the pose in the cap and gown to be made into an 11" x 14" composite for our livingroom wall. The third pose will be made into wallet size pics.

I am now busy on designing an ad for the high school yearbook at Angelina's request. I just have to wait until her portraits to arrive so I can finish. I have a feeling this is going to be one busy and expensive year..............

Just dropping by to say Hi! The threads sure is quiet, but at least it means I can ketchup! Week-end has been frantic as DH was working because of the current desire for people to blow things up...I do wish they'd ask first - this was the first week-end for ages we had nothing planned so hoped to chill & recharge the batteries. At least no innocent people were hurt & for that we can all be thankful. Enjoy what's left of the week-end.

Aww i need one of these for the TOAL.... How much are they and where did you find them at?

They were everywhere, about $12. Someone posted the number for Disney park shopping, call, describe and they can ship. It was definately at the Pirates of Caribbean shop in Magic Kingdom

Or you can go to e-bay and buy for 3 times that.....

I told Angelina as I was driving her to work today. "When you dress for work at B-a-B you look like a teenager, but today, dressing for work at The Deb, you look like a young woman." The clothes do make a big difference.

This is a drive by posting...............

I just wanted to let you know I am alive and well, but since returning from Florida earlier this month I have put myself on an internet diet and have cut my online time by 75%. Work is as crazy as ever, and I've started training a few young fellows, over the past couple of weeks, on the "correct" way to read meters.

I've been lurking from time to time, just haven't taken the time to post much anywhere on the boards as of late.

Our main computer crashed last week and I've been spending quite a bit of time re-loading programs into our new computer.

Hazel and Angelina are doing fine. Angelina had her Senior Portraits taken on 6/22, the photos were placed on the photographer's website, and we placed our $$$$ order last night...............

OK, time to run and pick up Angelina from work.

Oh David it is so nice to see our big extended family again. I forgot I bought that picture too!!! I am the one with the red & white striped shirt and DH is behind me with the dreadlocks and black wig!!!

We did movie night tonight. boys of the family went to see Silver Surfer, girls went to Shrek Third. I think I ate too much popcorn. BLAH!!!!!

Set up a computer tonight for my mom. She was clueless about what to do and how to do it. I figure I am in for about a million phone calls from this point on.

she got it alright..and i won't go into it..but i wasn't too pleased.

Today we had to Salt Lake - we won't make it all the way today, but we'll drive until we can't anymore.


There was one stint of about 36 hours Ketchikan, AK to Bellingham, WA without a port call that I'm sure rough on the pup, but we we jogged around the car deck every 6 hours or so. We also got off every time the ship was in port (twice at 3 a.m.) to walker her on land, and we all spent about 5 hours off the ship in Ketchikan - we treked 2.5 miles to town, walked around, and treked 2.5 miles back.

No kids club, but also no spa, wine tasting, etc. to ditch the kids for. There is a nice observation lounge at the front of the ship, so we did lots of looking out the window, the kids each learned 3 new card games and we worked on Cub Scout advancement stuff. Funny, most of the Wolf achievements actually require the kid to have a home...we'll have to wait on those!

We had a 4-berth cabin, so 2 bunk beds, a small end table, a small area to hang clothes, a sink & countertop, and a private shower/toilet. Not everyone onboard has a cabin. There is a recliner lounge for people to sleep in (they show movies there during the day), a heated, covered solarium on the top deck where some people pitch a tent or just crash in a sleeping bag. They have pulic shower facilities for the folks without a cabin.

Oh and DS8 bought a $67 digital camera with his (forced) allowance savings before the trip, so I've been teaching him about photography. We make them put $1.50 of their allowance into a savings account every week to spend on something they otherwise couldn't afford.

Sounds like the ferry trip was quite the adventure. We should think about doing it some time. George fell in love with Alaska during our cruise up there and wants to take a float plane into one of the National park cabins sometime.

Where'd you get the $67 digital camera? I've been wanting to get something for Jakob in that price range and have been striking out.

Hope everyone had a great weekend! I put up 7 half pints of Strawberry Orange Jam, 8 half-pints of Strawberry Lemon Marmalade, and 4 cups on strawberry puree for fruit leather. The plums are next - though they are destined for the dehydrator. And DH and DS5 went berry picking while I was in MT at the dog shows - so I've got a freezer full of Black Raspberries, Boysenberries, and Upstart Blackberries. I think we'll have enough jam after this year to last another 2 or 3! Though I wind up giving a lot of it away.

Who's got awesome plans for the 4th? (I'll be working on those berries in the freezer I think. )
