Ah yes Mary, one of the more effective uses for the beloved Freak Flag! Though these days, my just breathing embarrasses the STs! So of course I do nothing better than playing with their heads. When I dropped Taryn off at her friend's house for the Senior Trip I hugged and kisses each one of the friends and told them each, no boys, drinking, stealing or drugs! Geez if the ground could've opened up Taryn would have jumped right in. I love these get-even moments :rotfl2: :rotfl2:

:lmao: :lmao: :lmao: :lmao:

My DS especially loves when I demonstrate my disco moves while singing "Shake Your Booty" at the top of my lungs! :rotfl2:

Hey Tom how do you do that??? I really like that!

Peter can you make this type of freak flag complete with blender and skeleton??? :thumbsup2 (Just kidding of course)

Whilst you were typing your wishes....

Hello Friends! Well I just came back from yet another Rosacea treatment and guess what???

MY FACE HURTS!

I took 3 Advil, but now I'm heading for the booze!

So stay tuned while I catch up :rotfl2:

So sorry! Are the treatments making a big bifference? Hope it gets to feeling better, I imagine it is not the easiest of treatments to go through.

Thanks for asking Paula. The sad truth is my nose is still too purple for my taste. I have one treatment to go. If I need anymore after that I'm going to ask the Dr. to concentrate just on my nose and charge me 1/2 the price. This is getting $$$$$

was going through some of the pictures from the weekend and I found one of each of my boys ....

the ST was with his friends that night , but he had to come over to dear old Jack , I mean Dad to say hi ....and then My Sweet Melissa brought the DS 6 by on another day ....Just thought I would share ...

 everyone - ok - have been away for a few days trying to remedy (ok I really haven't) my situation but I have a question for anyone who cares to answer.

Who is doing the TransAtlantic Repo from Barcelona to PC on Aug 18-Sept 1?

I just got a call from a friend - she has booked me on this cruise on one of the last cat 12's. Since we are doing the Med July 28-Aug8 cruise - then flying to Paris and Paris DL for 1 week. Our originally scheduled return flight home was going to be Aug 15.

Well since the ships leaves Aug 18 - she decided to go ahead and book me one "just in case". This would mean that I would have to figure out what to do with myself for 3 days! (where to spend it at, Paris, Barcelona, Italy! London?) I now have a major decision to make. Should I go ahead and do it - I wanted to do it but was glad once I read the WB trip reports that I didn't. Now that the opportunity to go has presented itself. Can I really do this?????:scared1:

DD14 will have started her freshman year of high school. DH is saying its ok with him - he can't take off 5 weeks from work. (Someone has to make the money! :lmao: ) and yet - can I really be separated from DD14 and DH for another 2 weeks? I mean there is her first day of school and all. I have ALWAYS been there for the first day of school from Kindergarden. This would be the first time I wouldn't be there- even when I worked I went. Then again she is growing up. DH said that he'd figure out how to pick her up somehow.

Should I invite DD20 to come with? Oh my - decisions, decisions. And there is the added bonus of instead of having 23 hr days - we will have a 'few' 25 hr days! Can't beat that. But 6 days at sea? I'm hoping that as the summer progresses - the problems are ironed out which I'm sure they will be - but can I really do this?

How about it my 2nd family? Please weigh in - would love to hear all sides.

Remember - I just did the solo Mom's trip on Mother's day to FL from Thurs to Mon nite. That was easy but I was glad to be home.

Ok - I open the floodgates. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Laura it would be an awesome experience! If you really want to do it--Go for it. :cool1:

We just arrived home a little bit ago from the 1st Annual Eagles Nest Awards. Hazel and I didn't know this was the first such awards that school will now be doing on an annual basis. There were around 60 students that were given this award and each student was selected by a teacher or staff member of the high school. I haven't had time to load the pics that I had taken this evening, but Angelina made us so proud and we got MANY compliments from several of Angelina's teachers. When Angelina came forward to receive her award and certificate I'm the one who had butterflies in my stomach and also had the buttoms popping off my shirt. After I get the pics loaded, most likely tomorrow, I will post a couple and also include what Angelina's English teacher had to say about her. All in all, it was a wonderful evening and yes, some tears were also shed.

Fine looking boys Todd! And they both look like you. Well not in these particular pics, but you know what I mean :lmao: BTW, your resemblance to the real (oops, the other) CJS is uncanny!

Andy Congratulation to Angelina, you and Hazel must be so very proud!

No way I can catch up on all I missed. Let me just declare that May was the month from heck! I'm predicting that June will be much better.

As promised a while back, here's a few pics from the Red Carpet

The crowd behind us at 6:30am. We were about 10th in line from the gate.

Right after this, my son held up my phone and asked Johnny to say hi to the girls who couldn't make the trip. Johnny grabbed the phone and said in his Captain Jack's voice "Hello Girls"......hehe...Johnny Depp touched my phone!! :cloud9:

If you'd like to see all the pics, including DL food porn, here's the link. But I still haven't gotten around to editing, labeling, or uploading the other camera (stupid Easy Share software is not so easy!)

Here's part of the reason it's been a difficult month. My son took a hard fall and ended up in the ER. He's fine, just has the scrapes you see and a sore neck. He'll be in a neck brace for another week or so. I took a few pics with my phone because he wanted to see himself all strapped to the guerny

Now MR don't you let that scare you. We don't want it to have a chilling effect on you. Chat would get dull without your stories!!

That is the truth!!! You are so fun.:goodvibes

(I have to work tomorrow night, so I will miss chat:sad1: :sad1: )

You have no idea how proud we are!!! I just loaded this pic in real quick, I didn't have the time to edit the pic, this was taken after the ceremony this evening.

You know my family doesn't drink much when someone passes, but we sure do eat a lot. Everyone we know and even people we don't know bring piles of food and it would just be rude not to eat it right? I remember after my Mom died, my sister and I sat at the table working on the plans for the service and managed to eat an entire pan of brownies just by picking off a piece at time. We looked at each other and couldn't believe that we devoured the entire 9 X 13 pan all by ourselves. I guess it was the ultimate comfort food at that moment. We still laugh about it today!

Amazing how that happens, I don't know what it is about chocolate.:)

Paula say it isn't so!!! :sad1: :sad1: We will miss you! Darn workin' or a living!

Ohhh, Andy....WOW.....how beautiful!!!

Did all her friends gush over her tattoo??

Or when our STs threaten us with parental abandonment if we dare to embarrass them with our outrageous behavior!! My son lives in continual fear of my Freak Flag! :lmao:

It is really my most effective weapon against him these days!
