8/17/08 Captain Jack's Repossession Repo Cruise to PC thru TPC Part 13

ok all - sure could use some ixiedust:. Shortly before leaving on my last minute getaway, something happened that could adversely affect my family. Unfortunately, life happens and this was bound to happen sooner or later but wish things could have happened in a nicer way.

Sorry to be cryptic but those that know me, I am notorious for getting up late. However, today and last night I fell asleep at 2 am and got up at 5 am PST. This is not me and I must get some sleep but am compulsive obsessive about things.

Here's hoping that things get resolved and our family cruise in July continues to be a family cruise!

Yet please note - I WILL MAKE IT TO THE MED ONE WAY OR ANOTHER! (and if God permits - I am going to turn over my faith to him and let him take things from here)

P.S. - Capt Crash - I wave as I passed your area - I see you may have been awake - we took a last minute trip to Solvang. Hoping to get to use my camera in the next couple hours. Need some time to straighten my thoughts.

I am deeply sorry to learn of your evolving crisis. As a tiny few here know I have had an evolving crisis... and many now know one of them has resolved favorably with the good lab results recently. I have also been cryptic too - and for reasons that are best left quiet for now. SO... with that - I bid you an encouraging wave with quiet prayers of general hope for the best to your family and potential crisis.

I share your kind of angst. Probably not precisely the same - but just the same I have had "similar" tension in the past few months. And may I offer polite thanks to all who have made this little comunity here a source of harmless escape for me. There were several occasions when I really needed the diversions this offerred. Odd as it may seem - this was one of the places I choose to visit for a "break".

If there might be anything we might do to help - being at least in the same region of the state... please PM us...

There have been days when I wish we had a pool. Sounds like it could serve a couple of purposes.

my favorite disney ride has to be the haunted mansion ....and now
soaring [ always like orange groves~ smells]

I love when that scent is released.

My sister came over to show me the CC cards that she received (did not get mine!) and I went on to search for the threads to show her what the stateroom gift might be. She very innocently asked if anyone from the repo cruise had started a thread!

We've stayed the night before in Solvang! On our way from LA to SF! We took hwy 101 up the coast -- dh thought it would be fun for the kids!

Yeah, we had no problem last time with the #2 pass . . . I'm not going to get too worked up about how quickly I get on the ship for this cruise since I will be on it for 15 days!

When 500 of us show up in the same t-****, they may want to get us out of the terminal ASAP.....

Wow! She's little. Sounds like she's healthy though - so maybe she's just small.

She is a tiny thing! She was only 4 1/2lbs at birth -- all of my other kids were 8 1/2 to 9lbs...... But, she is perfectly healthy! 16dd & 23dd are still holding out that she is a *Little Person*.

It's nearly 1:00am here in the UK and I thought I'd do the above before I go to bed (another day off tomorrow ).

This is the hardest one I've done from the Captain so here goes.........

1) Spaceship Earth - been known to do it on the way in and the way out.

3) The Aristocats in the cinema in Penrhiwceiber, South Wales when I was VERY young.

The fogging comes from going out of a humidity controlled (air conditioned) enviornment that is generally cool into a warm moist environment. The bag would help eliminate the moisture (if packed right) but may have you sacrificing quality....

Having a good photo grade cleaning cloth to wipe moisture from lens is best way (or opening camera as soon as you get outside so the temp/moisture has time to level before you shoot)

I'll get those dreamy lighting bolt glances she always gives me....

I'm 5' 6" and dh is over 6'. 16dd is about... 5'9".... Our 9ds is a little on the small side -- not that small though... Both of my grandmothers were small women. When the DR told me about the different tests they are going to do on 5dd (she will be 6 in a month) I told him that we are not opposed to having a petite daughter.

That's the first one I remember seeing! And we saw it at the drive in! I'm probably older then you.... I don't remember how old I was but, I know we lived in New Orleans so I was between 7 and 11!

I carry a spare camera for that reason (camera break downs while on memorable trips). On the last cruise prettyintink (kenin and cindy) had a camera accident - and I offerred them my spare - but they had already bought a replacement from the ship. I suggested they return it and just take my camera for the trip. They graciously declined.

On our last cruise (the 10nt) we had 4 digital camers between us -- my Rebel and 3 Olympus C-60 (that's the one we have underwater housing for....). The reason we have so many of the Olympus in the family is we owned 1, then we found them on sale at a really good price and bought 3 more....we gave teh oldest one to oldest ds, one of the new ones to oldest dd (it was her b-day so, she got a new camera ) and then dh & I both got one of the other new ones to keep in our cars.

We are picture in this house!

My DH is big on American History, Founding Fathers, etc. and we've been to Williamsburg several times
Must be a zoo down there this weekend ?

In August I'm taking 2 of our children (16dd & 9ds) on the Spirit of America Adventure By Disney! We can't wait!!! The 3 of us have never been to those places!
