Je vais tres bein, merci. Et vous?

I'm taking a (brief) break from banging my head off my desk at work and thought I'd pop in. No time for ketchup today, I don't think.

I'm busier than a beaver in a coffee-filled lake at work these days. Pulling out all the stops to try to save our program (and our jobs).

I understand about work. I interviewed for a job a couple of weeks ago (lateral move in same dept) and haven't heard anything. I don't think it was very well thought out.

Hope everything goes well with yours.

Just found out that the school board wants to combine principals at my dd's school and another school. Our principal was going to retire. So instead of giving us a FT principal, they want one form another school to go between schools. Now I don't know what will happen. I guess I will be attending a school board meeting tonight! Woo hoo! The fun never stops!

sorry to hear that!:) - do you have a drive-in? Either way - we can rest assured - it WILL be worth the wait!!!:thumbsup2 pirate:
No, no drive in around here as far as I know. We're still on the lookout for a babysitter. We may have to drive to another part of town for that...I remember seeing sitters advertise on Craigslist.

Too cute!

When we got married, the priest lectured the photographer on where he could & couldn't be during Mass. Then FIL told him to just ignore him, Father wouldn't stop the Mass if the photog was in the wrong place. The funny part? FIL is a deacon, so he was on the alter during Mass & actually married us. So the deacon told the photog to ignore the priest. Yup, we're all going to hell, but I have great photos!

We had a family priest who I had known since I was DD's age perform our ceremony. We had talked to him about what we wanted done. The parrish priest was at the rehersal saying this & that Fr. Ralph just winked at me while he talked. At dinner he told me that the next day he was running the show & the other priest wouldn't stop him in the middle of the wedding to argue a point about what he should or shouldn't have done. ;) We did have the photographer take pictures after the wedding that were staged for the most important shots. :)

Lisa and I were talking about Dancing With The Stars Last Night. Apollo and his partner did the H-O-S-T-E-S-T Cha Cha I ever saw.:woohoo: On if the judges said it was too hot for that kind of dance.:scared: My DH was just intruding on my thoughts. I was better off when I kept this site a secret.:rolleyes1 :hug:

Here is the clip!!! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wSXj95yNNTM

I think that they are so great is that they are the young couple on the show & are doing so well. I think that she is 18 & he is 23.

:headache: ,,,,i hate it , when they do something new to our
internet connections/phones ....as always, they broke something
where they had to come back....2 young guys, linebackers type.

....in a blink of a pirate: eye, our lil' jack russell burst~ out
the front door....i could see that look in his eyes, of wanting to
chomp....the intruders~:dog: & :scared: .forcxing me into a
dive , just one mili-sec. quicker than him. thanks godness....
this had $$$ lawsuit....the one worker asked if i used to play
football...cos he never seen someone moved so quick...truth
is, $$$ a great motivator. but not at a price, ripped right thru
my :mickeyjum jammies, & i have a whole new set of bruises...
i am way toooo old for this! :sad2: ..anyone like a free,
cute and very protective puppy~ :dog: ???

now iam "feeling it".... , sore all over.

[ her hair is growing back...& it still has reddish ~ gold type highlights...
 , just like her grandmother...& daddy (used to be). the gentleman
besides her, is the Irish dancing champion of the world...from IRELAND.
~ they wanted him to do the "lord of the dance"....but he turned it
down, to teach children...:wizard: , some are not driven by money.

{wish i could say the same, :rolleyes1} ..the program was in town,
and alot of the professional dancers~from riverdance, came over to
help the kids put on this show....:thumbsup2 , that was really neat to
watched! * what i feel really sad about....our local school refused
to let jordan leve 2 hrs early to continue her lessons...to me, its
a part of her heritage...and we felt more educational..but we ended
up in court...:sad2:. i dislike poltics. ]

So I completely missed the pirate run thanks to another useless meeting  When are these folks going to learn there's more things in life than a damned TPS report or a fried command and control system!

Congrats Peter on the pirate: ..............:thumbsup2

I just got in from work and saw the pirate: run took place earlier this afternoon, darn work anyhow.................:rotfl:

Cheryl, I think your nasty weather must be heading in our direction, my knees are already giving me the warning signal...............

I just did a quick search. You can get OPI at Ulta, Cost Cutters, Trade Secret, JC Penney Salons, and a lot of independant salons. But like I said, I get a lot of them on eBay.

My local Target also carries OPI. I cannot for the life of me remember what I have on the toes. Hot-House-Red, if that's a color?

I was ironing last night while watching DWTS. I could decide what was hotter, the iron or Apollo doing the cha-cha-cha. It was steamy.

The dog we have at the moment is our second Jack Russell (our first one died in my arms when she was 17 years old).

They have this compulsion to race around the house to get to the letters that we have posted through our letter box every day and woe betide anything or anyone in their way - I've even tried to explain that the letters are not for them and even if they were, I would happily pass it to them. No, it doesn't matter to them.

Our current Jack Russell is about three years old and she will balistic at anything that passes our house including an ant trying to mind its' own business - I just totally despair.

Here is a photo of her from last Christmas.....

Her name is Eira which is the Welsh word for snow.

Hi
I love our farmer's markets this time of year - I have to keep remindiing myself I'm not feediing an army and try for self control.

I filled up at Costco - $3.339 per gal for reg. I have a Hondy Odyssey but it still was nearly $50. Ouch!

Fog's gone - sun is out. Taking DGS out to ride his bike.

Hey Pal--you better take it easy there, the older we get, the longer it takes to recover............

In answer to your question, if it wasn't for Queen Stefani, I'd take your puppy.......;)

I better not tell you Hazel filled up our car today and the cost was $24.02 reg gas @ $2.879 a gallon for full service, we don't pump our own gas here in Jersey.

I've just done a quick calculation and I've worked out that a gallon of petrol (gas) here will cost you roughly $8.55 - no comparison !!!

I never could figure that out about NJ...the first time I visited there for an interview I stopped at a gas station with the rental car, got out, opened up the cap and MAN! You shoulda seen the attendant! I just assumed he was some kind of vagrant! But now, I noticed he had on a Mobil uniform shirt and then he started speaking, er, yelling ;) Farsi or Arabic all while pointing to the "full service" sign.

Later on I learned about the you-can't-pump-your-gas-in-Jersey business. My new firneds later told me it was because NJ residents weer too dumb to pump their own and would set the state on fire! :rotfl: :lmao: A guy at work said it was nothing more than an state jobs program.
