My ST goes until the 15th of June..... and we go back the week before labor day. Summer keeps getting shorter and shorter.

Wanna here something weird. DD is signed up for color guard in the HS marching band next year. We attended a parents meeting last week and the kids actually have to start practice tomorrow night (3 hrs a week for the first two weeks and then once a week until band camp starts.
They have a 3 day camp first week of June (4hrs each night).
Another 3 day camp mid-July (12hrs each day) Yes you read correctly TWELVE HOURS EACH DAY.
Then the official 10 day camp is first two weeks of August. Also 12 hrs every day except for the 2 Fridays (only 8 hrs those days)

But it will keep her off the streets....



Really, Our Mcd's around here have had sweet tea since last year....

My cousin was very involved in the color guard for many years. It does require a lot of time and dedication. They don't have CG in KY (at least that I know of)

Today some stupid add bought an $800 digital camera on my MC! Thank Goodness CircuitCity online called me to ask if I had made the purchase. I then canceled my card and no other charges went through. If CircuitCity hadn't called me who knows how extensive the damage could have been before I noticed.

We arrive at WDW on September 3rd for about 8 days. We're staying at the WL (DVC) and our tickets for the Pirate & Princess night on the 3rd arrived yesterday.

If it is like last year it will not be real crowed but it will hot and very humid!

Sounds good Brack. I only wished I knew how uncrowed September always was. I never pulled my children out of school and waited in 2 hour lines at WDW in July.

Maybe we can say a Hi in the park one of the days we are all there. We are trying for a mini meet on Labor Day.

Ok for those of you curious as to what I look like - I just downloaded my doggie pictures and realized I had a recent one of me - this was just taken on Saturday at a friend's BBQ - that is me on the left - I may look a little different as I was blonde highlighted in Sept '06 when I met some of you all.

I'm hoping for the same thing.

Although I did book DCL transportation and I don't know where they're transporting me to or from.

I was so frantic on the morning of the booking I just took everything... insurance, ground transfers (OMG I hope I didn't book air)

I had my room number 24 minutes after booking opened. I figured I could modify later.

I did the samething. I Booked anything I could. I would love to find a place by the port and bus it from there. I just keep thing do DCL sell oneway gorund transfers???

Cap'n Jack's is really, really good. More expensive than Mama Melrose, but a totally different experience. Much more quiet than MM and a great setting.
Mama Melrose has great food, too. Their calamari was good, so was the pizza. But we thought it was awfully noisy, and we even had our kids with us.

Thanks Stace, money is no object. The dining is on Disney so price is limitless,

Wow!!! I think that is so scary some one could purchase a camera like that. Circuit City gets my vote for looking out for its customers.

Just got Angelina home from work......a co-worker did not show up tonight, so Angelina got called in to cover the shift. While Angelina was at work, I was able to get us booked on the Wonder for this November. The funny part is, the total cost for the 4 of us is about $75.00 less than what the deposit was for the Repo Cruise, so our November cruise is already paid in full!!!

Now it's time for me to get to bed.............Good Night All.............

Thanks Brack, actually did not take to many stills since we just got a new video camera. I remember we taked about these a few months ago. Decided to jump in so I would time to get use to it at WDW this summer. Sony DCR-SR62 with the Harddrive. Works like a charm with no tape or dvd disks. Seven hour recording time in HQ. By the time TOAL rolls around I will be able to document all of our events. Opps, thats right what happens on the TOAL, stays on the TOAL.

The only problem I've found with video is putting it in a useful format (ie: how to watch them). I have mini8 cartridges that I took about four years ago still the way that I took them out of the camera. We've never looked at them.

I find stills much easier to use often.

Brack, I just plug the camera into my computer and burn a DVD immediately. This gets if off the camera, and can through a DVD in the player anytime. Can always use the video on the DVD later to edit into a final movie. The nice thing is being able to look at each individual video as a file without having to go through all of the videos. Also if you don't like one it is just one click deletion.

I hate that when it happens! I had mine used a couple of years ago. It was covered but it is still a horrible feeling.
