My DD's friend has a cardinal that keeps flying into their dining room glass doors. (french doors)

If i didn't see it with my own eyes i wouldn't have believed them....

It would sit on the bird feeder and keep jumping at the window...

You'd think it would get a headache.

I don't have a feeder outside the window, but there is a small tree (crab). I just read that the bird is probably seeing it's reflection in the window, and defending it's territory against what he thinks is another bird. After a week of banging into the window, you'd think he would give up. This is one stubborn bird!

I seriously need to do something here.....this psycho bird is driving me crazy! For over a week now it has been flying into my living room window.

Have you tried standing in front of the window. With a baseball bat?

Now admittedly, I was trying to see if I could pull a fast one, but when no one notices, no one calls me out, no one sees the fine yellow type that I put in here..... Maybe my sense of humor is just a little too sophisticated for the average TOAL cruiser? Maybe we just have too many posts to notice this stuff? Well, since all the wenches have agreed that my giving the swabbies ten times the pirates they had before, it is now official and you wenches have a lot of making up to do!

There seems to be a consensus by all the swabbies and the vast majority of the wenches that this is a good, complete and accurate summary. Thanks for all the compliments.

January 1 thru January 8 2008 - WDW - DVC

March 14th and 15th 2008 DL to celebrate all of our birthdays (ewww the big 40) DVC

May 3rd thru the 10th - WDW - DVC

August 14th thru Sept 4th - DL (DVC) Disney Magic PC cruise - WDW(DVC)

I think we are pretty busy this year , plus there may be a trip or two to cozumel for a couple of long weekends ...

I seriously need to do something here.....this psycho bird is driving me crazy! For over a week now it has been flying into my living room window.

We had this problem when we were growing up. I think my mom cut out metallic things from cans (like can lids) and hung them up on tahe outside of the sliding door. They could see the reflection of the sun on the metal. You might give it a try. Couldn't hurt.(Unless you slice your finger on the can)

We had this problem until I hung some suncatchers on the windows. Haven't had that problems since. And they are pretty too.

Well, gee, I finally gave up trying to catch up. I have read every post up until we left for Florida. I tried to read some last night I just couldn't. I will try to read them soon but just this morning I read the last 10 pages. I hate posting when I haven't read what is going on.

So tragic, the events of yesterday. Not much to say that hasn't been said but prayers abound that is for sure.

Well, finally have the laundry done. Need to iron it but that will wait.
I'm trying to get a window treatment and bedding job done for delivery on Thursday so I am not suppose to here anyway. (shh... you never saw me. )

I hope everyone has a wonderful day and hopefully you are seeing signs of spring.
