8/17/08 Captain Jack's Repossession Repo Cruise to PC thru TPC Part 12

We have an old 45 jukebox.

Looks just like this one. It is so fun to listen to the oldies on it. You can even purchase newer music on 45's but it just isn't the same.

Use to also have an Peacock Bubbler Jukebox that played 78's. It was beautiful but needed to much repair.

There's a diner near here that had a jukebox. Of course it play CDs and not records

The favorite of my ST seems to be "Wicked Awesome".

I remember 8-tracks! I loved my 45 collection. We could buy them for a dollar at the local record store and every week they would come out with the new top 50 list. I must have had well over 100 in my collection. They are long gone now! I still remember the first one I ever bought. It was Queen's "Bohemian Rhapsody".

My DB, who lives in Burbank, says that nobody in CA says "Wicked". He said it is a New England thing & if you say it out there they look at you like you have two heads. Apparently he's wrong about that?

My DSIS still has an 8-track player with all her 8-track tapes! And I love Bohemian Rhapsody!

Dad was a good sport - thawed out after DS apologized and told him his DD was so beautiful that he couldn't resist the "Magic"

DS1 is already mastering his flitatious moves While at the Carnival World Buffet in Vegas he put his hand up on the waitress' add with a look of "Yeah, this is my play toy, what of it?" He likes blondes but I don't think any girl is "icky" to him. While at Furr's he charmed some woman so much her husband had to have a "talk" with him I dread the day some father comes by to complain because his 14 year old won't shut up about DS because he used such a line on her....when he's 12!

I start single mom 2 weeks on Wed. or Thurs. this week. I bet Jonesing can guess why. Oh joy.

Well I start single "dad" to the two doggies. DW & DS are heading to her grandma's house tonight. I'm under orders not to shirt up (opposite of t-****?) the house while she's gone!

Since Estri's DH is a stone's throw away, maybe I'll go get him and we'll go clubbing!

BTW you had asked about our moving plan...yeah, pretty much the same except our stuff doesn't go by lowest bidder, I've used North American the past two or three times and they've worked out pretty well.

"Wicked" was a creation of the teen mall rat movies (Fast Times at Ridgemont High, Valley Girl etc). As a "reformed" (somewhat) mall rat I can assure you that no girl ever used "wicked" in such a fashion.

Why can't "cool" just be "cool" and leave it be? Why must we change the meaning of yet another word and use "sick" which just sounds wrong....
