Back in 2004 when our ST didn't come right back to the cabin after the 411 was finished at The Stack, dear old dad took a stroll and found my ST and another young man walking around on deck 9. I walked up behind them and told ST it was time to come back to the cabin. The look on the young man's face was priceless, I was sure he taken by surprise. My ST wasn't all too happy, but hey, I wasn't about to let the possibilty of anything going to happen with a boy (about 16, she was 14) she had just met, and I didn't know anything about. ST, never did go back to The Stack the rest of the cruise, but that was her choice, not mine.

* Update Warning and it's a downer. *
First- Thank you for the birthday wishes. Not much of a celebration here but there is worse things in life. My DD Brooke is devastated. She dropped Dante last night and he got hurt bad. After talking with the vet last night, he told me to bring him in first thing this morning. Dante will be spending the night in the hospital as he needs a implant in his knee. Can you relate Andy?

Between the hernia operation and this one which is more major, I see us just spending our TOAL money on other things. Dante is not only a member of this family but my child and Brooke is the big sister. I have never been so attached to one animal before in my life. It hurts us so much to see him in pain and not able to walk.

Brooke has a teeth cleaning today and we have a home inspection this afternoon. I am feeling a little overwelmed and can't wait till this is all over with.

The knees are a bit stiff today because of walking around in the light rain all morning, but still no where near as bad as the pain I had last week. I'm getting ready to rub them down again while I am home for lunch. Speaking of which, I had better get a move in it.............

Hi Everybody,

Just taking a break from studying to pop in. We finished classes yesterday, and finals start on Thursday. Since I have such a short attention span, I needed to do something else for a few minutes. After finals are over next week, I'll try to catch up a little bit. Thank goodness for the summaries, I don't think I could ketchup on about 25,000 posts.

Hope to talk to you guys a little more often.

PS: I haven't paid anything besides the deposit either, but do I get points for considering it a few times? Still saving up for the Dining Plan for our August trip (DVC and early August, so no free DDP for us).

Dante is not only a member of this family but my child and Brooke is the big sister. I have never been so attached to one animal before in my life. It hurts us so much to see him in pain and not able to walk.

Brooke has a teeth cleaning today and we have a home inspection this afternoon. I am feeling a little overwelmed and can't wait till this is all over with.

I still have Elton John's Greatest Hits (the first one) on 8-track. I bought it at Two Guys.

I remember 8-tracks! I loved my 45 collection. We could buy them for a dollar at the local record store and every week they would come out with the new top 50 list. I must have had well over 100 in my collection. They are long gone now! I still remember the first one I ever bought. It was Queen's "Bohemian Rhapsody".

Evening all from the UK !!

After a day that could have gone really bad in work it ended up as fairly quiet

In my office we had 18% of the staff on strike but in another office a mile away 74% of the staff stayed away.

Anyway, as a reward for being in early I decided to finish at 4:00pm. However, having got home I now realise that my Volvo needs polishing and the front lawn needs cutting so here we go !!

When DS was little he didn't want to do anything that was "Cool" for some reason we could never explain he didn't get that being cool was a good thing. He liked being different. I always had to be careful because I would tell him this or that was so cool and then he wouldn't have any part of it.

J. R. I don't know what happened. As others here can attest to, if it doesn't hit me square in the face I am pretty much clueless about what is going on. Anwyay I just want to say that if the jokes seem to be getting out of hand & anyone has been offended by anything I may have said either here or especially in chat (where I sometimes let my hair down a little too much by being a smart add! ) I truly apologize & feel bad since I think that everyone here is a great bunch!

I am so looking forward to meeting everyone on the TOAL & I for one very much enjoy your quips & especially the banter between yourself & Tom so I hope you don't stop posting completely. I also don't want this thread closed down, because I already feel like I am enjoying a bit of my TOAL by coming here & reading what my fellow shipmates are up to & it may sound silly, but I think the TOAL would be missing something if I couldn't come here anymore.

Well Cheryl (micmse2003) finally convinced me to stop lurking from work and sign in with my own name. So now I won't get blamed for doing something to her posts.
A while back someone was looking for the pics of Cheryl on stage dancing with 2 guys. As soon as I get time I will posts them. I also have video clips. She was definitely feeling no pain that night.
The next day, all the Thera gesic in the world would not have made her feel any better

My Dsis is in the AF too. She is in reserves. She was supposed to finish her two weeks active duty on Saturday at a base near Norfolk. On her last day she decided to go for a run. Well, half-way through the run she felt like a tear through her groin/quadricept area and went down. It hurt so much she couldn't even walk. Luckily a marine came along and piggyback'd her back to where she was staying and there was still one girl from her unit there who helped her get to an emergency clinic. She finally drove back to Philly Sunday night in pain and now has to be on active duty another two weeks so they can diagnose what's wrong. Her civilian job is gonna love that.
Lesson: exercise can hurt you....

Spoke with Caroline on Sunday night...

She's been ok but busy...Shuttling kids to dance, piano, softball, Girl Scouts, etc....

The girs are preparing for their recital soon....

Sarah has been getting some good hits in Softball.

Dena and Amanda had a fever over the weekend so weren't feeling good. (Caroline mentioned her girls are usually not sick so this is a little strange.)

Other than that she is still coming on TOAL.....

Oh and she was talking to friends of hers and found out that they are booked on TOAL too.... SMALL WORLD...

Sorry to hear about your DSIS, hope she is better soon! Also glad to hear Caroline is doing well & still doing the TOAL!

Tina I don't pay until I absolutely have to. I know it is easier for some to make payments & I'm not knocking anyone who does that, but I like to hold on to my money as long as I can.
