Since I was back on Death Row today, otherwise known as Old Coot's Lane, I could have used alot of Devil's Juice today!!!

The 81 year old female boss said to me today "I guess you enjoyed your vacation because you got really fat again" Devil's Juice TAKE ME AWAY!!

When I think about it, why would she feel compelled to say that to me. Does anyone ever need to point out that we put on a few pounds? NO, Never...we already know it (hence me joining online WW last night)

I did manage my own dig in return though. I said "you know, since we're all so fat, maybe we can look into WW at Work" she hightailed it out of my cubicle after that. The nerve!

Wholey Cow.... Get MR some Devil's Juice...and some Jesus Juice and whatever other juice she wants...she deserves it to put up with an old bat like that. Whatever they're paying you isn't nearly enough...and to have that after the Chef Mickey snot...are those two ladies related?

Didnt hurt at all ....they call that area the "DUDE" spot and there are a couple of other areas like the upper arm where most get a tattoo as well ...the Dude spot is an area that really doesnt hurt at all ..Dont get me wrong there is a little pain but nothing a person cant tolerate ..

I guess not compared to other tattoos.

Stace rude doesn't even begin to describe her....honestly. But really she's rude because she's the boss, not so much because she's old. She thinks that she's all that and a bag of chips

She sounds like my birthmother. UGH! Are you sure that she is in her 80s & doesn't just look that old?

When I was in grade school, I was a little chubby (a battle I've fought all my life, I'm afraid) and there was this one girl who was constantly picking on me. My Dad taught me that response, with a little twist.

FIRST of all....you are NOT fat. Secondly, you weren't gone for a month...which is how long it would take for any significant weight gain to show.
I had an old lady boss like that one time. Finally, after she retired, she and Jay ended up having lunch in the same establishment and Jay got to give her an earful. She had actually asked him for his opinion on a few of the "issues" he addressed....he wouldn't have said anything if she hadn't brought it up.
My only regret is that I wasn't there. SNAP.

OK, the comebacks are coming to me now.

Hi All,

Just had to sign back in real quick. Just arrived home a few minutes ago from picking Angelina up from work. She got out a little late, but was carrying a B-a-B box with her. Little did I know, she had made me an "early" birthday present at work tonight, I have attached a photo below. You should have seen me grinning from ear to ear when I opened the box.

That is way too cute! I'm jealous.

We went to Home Depot (the Mother Ship) to get the potting soil for my soon-to-arrive rose trees.

Yes, but I should be sleeping. DS wanted to go to bed at 7 and asked me to stay with him until he fell asleep. Well.....I fell asleep too & got up at 9 when DD came in to say goodnight to me.

Well, I managed to help DS take a bath and redo his splint so that it passed his approval. LOL! It is hard to find shirts that will work with a splint. I can't imagine a full arm cast.

It's not really one of my better stories.
I was in Las Vegas with friends (it was actually a mini-meet of sorts) and we were at the Jello-shot bar at the MGM Grand....right near the door to the walkway from MGM to New York, New York.
Our group was having their shots, and there were these three guys from Ireland. We were all talking and being friendly. My group finished their shots, and they all started heading for the MGM casino. The three Irish guys put their arms around me, and started walking me toward the exit. I was trying to get away, and trying to holler at my group...but I also didn't want to make too big a fuss, because I thought they were just kidding around. KWIM?
Well, they weren't letting me go, and kept heading me for the doors. Finally, one of the young guys who was in my group turned around looking for me......so he and a couple of other guys came after me.
Turned out, they had to struggle a bit to get the Irish guys to let go of me!! I hadn't felt too threatened at first, because, afterall, if they were going to nab a woman, wouldn't they have chosen a much younger one???

my youngest turned 4 today!! sniff sniff!!! and in just a few mins...it's gonna be my dd's 7th bday! boy...what a sad day! i wish they'd stay little!!!

Only about 500 posts behind. I can't even play ketchup yet. Hope everyone is healthy and happy!!! I decided to just sit by computer tomorrow for 3 maybe 4 hours. I hope there is lots of details of mini meet. I did glance at a few pictures and enjoyed seeing all the happy faces.
