Is any one going to be on chat tonight??????

I will be late as I have to see GrindHouse for the studios.

I will - I really should go grocery shopping for Easter Dinner, but am going to low it off.

Hello everyone,
We are sitting in the vip lounge at Misson Space with MR and her family. We are having a great time. We are really enjoying our time with the O'Blenders.
Everyone says hi.
Except ST's who can't believe that I am posting while sitting here instead of taking them on the ride.

We are looking forward to meeting the rest of the gang that is here later tonight.

Wish you could all be here.

Oh, really really jealous :goodvibes . How do you into the Mission Space VIP Lounge??

Love this one, and I will not comment more to ensure we stay the correct side of the board rules.

Yes I saw them on the ship a lot in 2005 inc Palos.

On the book I have it remember LA, Cabo and Acapulco are the same along with usual Casterway, but no Aruba or Cartagena.

Strange though it may seem but I was just reading my copy of this Passporter !!

We thought we were going to owe Uncle Sam (lots) this year (DH thought he messed up in moving investments around), but got the word tonight we are getting a refund from Fed & State

:thumbsup2 We getting a refund fro the Feds which is just about enough to cover what we own the State. :woohoo: Got it right this year. Last year we owed something like $6K. (Got it wrong.)

Of course, you have to question whether you can take anyone seriously if they were born after Star Wars came out....

Of course not! They don't appreciate truly amazing things - like four function calculators. And the amount of brain sweat that goes into creating a roller coater - without a computer!! Sheez. :sad2:

I remember having to explain to a much too excited coworker that I had indeed seen Star Wars: A New Hope the first time it was out in theaters.....:sad2:

I went on a 'date' with my dad. (Back when a little girl could say that without people, well....going there). My brother was just a few months old, so I'm sure it was part of the 'older sibling adjustment plan'.

So did I! I had just got home from school and Dad was getting in the car. "Where you going Dad?" "To a movie, you want to come?" (Like I was going to say No?) We saw Star Wars on opening day, the very first showing in Seattle. There were like 40 people in the theatre. Best seats in the house. AWESOME!!!!

I remember when it came out - had the biggest crush on Luke Skywalker - by the time the third one came out, I had moved over to Han Solo.

Ahhhhh. Moved on from the nice boys to the bad boys - did we? :rotfl:

How in the world does one fail Health class?

By writing slogans like these??

Support your local tobbaco grower - SMOKE!
I support Darwinism - leave you helmet at home!
Soap and Water is for whimps!
We don't need no stinkin' seatbelts!

It's so funny because Coach always stayed so calm. He would just say "Mary dear, you're in the wrong lane again and the passengers in back are afraid for their lives, so could you please move back into the correct lane before we all meet the big Coach in the sky." He said the exact same thing every time.

I want some of what he had!

Okay ...Remember I said when my friend Toby came to Vegas to try out for a reality show , and while he was here we did alot of filming ....Well , here is the cereal commercial we did in my backyard and in the house ....those that have watched Tobys other little videos on utube saw the first cereal commercial ...this is Pt 2 to that ...LOL I even got a part ...I was the stunt sword and arm ...LOL enjoy

Nice work. Especially like the cereal with RUM!! Yum!!

Interestingly, DS5 walked up as I was playing it. His response? "I don't want to do this." I think he found the movie clips at the beginning too intense. Guess who hasn't been allowed to see any of the movies.

Oh, we win the evil parents award easily. We take one gift that comes in multiple pieces and wrap it in separate boxes. (I wanted to take a lego set and split up all the pieces and wrap them in separate boxes -- I am thinking of buying a small lego set for Easter and putting each piece in a different egg and scatter them over the house!)

We'll wrap video games and then put them inside shirt boxes so the kids think they are clothes. We'll hide gift cards in pockets of pants we buy them so they think they are getting clothes.

If I am spending this much on Christmas, then, by golly, I am going to get some enjoyment.

OH! I am SO going to have to start doing this! thought last year the Lego set has 1000+ pieces.

Whoa, wait a minute, Jasmine in a thong can't be discarded as 'blah, blah, blah'. I need details!

It's a teaser to get you to read the posts! ;)

I haven't been on the boards for a little while (traveling for conferences)
Has anyone that is on a guarantee received any more room numbers for this sailing?

:rotfl2: :lmao: :lmao: :rotfl2:

NO.

Drive-ins were fun back then and had swings and stuff.

The one is Sacramento still does (6 screen drive-in). It's very popular with the family set. Kids can run around and make noise. And no one cares.

We like it because WE control the volume. When DS10 was about 5 I had to drag him, crying, into a movie. Why? All he could remember about the last one he saw was how horrible it was because it was too friggin' LOUD! I brought ear plugs so, this one was better. But after that, we had to wean him back into seeing movies by going to the drive-in.

Ear Plugs - don't leave home without them.

Well, I really gotta run now. Need to leave for Grandma and Grandpa's and we're not packed yet....

catch all y'all later!

Oh! Just one more thing.

A couple of post cards arrived in the mail from Mickey today! What good timing - with the rush to get packed Issac isn't making me make a paper chain for our August vacation yet.

The boys are walking around with big smiles on their faces.

Thank you, Andy!!!

:wizard:

My mother found these 3 dimensional "ball mazes" that you can put gift cards in. Once the card goes in, you have to get the ball to the end of the maze (opposite side of card from where you start) to get it out (or use a sledgehammer). She thought that was cool.

I seem to recall that for attendance figures, they only count the first park you enter. So, above, your attendance at EPCOT wouldn't count if you'd gone somewhere earlier in the day.

Also, remember that Disney doesn't actually release their numbers, the best out for public consumption are educated guesses. I wouldn't be surprised if Disney did track the traffic patterns between parks, how long we stayed there, and anything else they could track.

Disney knows everything... they probably know what you will be posting here before you post it....:mickeyjum

That story about the hospital reminded me of when dd was around 15 mos old she was really sick with a sore throat. We took her to the Dr. and he told us to try to keep her temp down as it was 104. We had a really long night with her and finally all fell asleep til we heard a strange noise coming from her crib. It sounded like it was shaking and she was having a febrile convulsion. well we freaked! Rushed her to the ER and after they started evaluating her took each of us separately and the social worker interviewed us about our daily routines etc. I got up and told her I didn't like where she was going with this line of questioning and ended my session with her. I don't know what they had in their minds. She wound up staying in the hospital for 4 days til she stopped spiking. They really couldn't give us a diagnosis either other than sore throat. Strep came back neg. Til she was 5 she went thru these fevers everytime she got sick. Did they reallythink we were responsible for her seizure???

I had one of my DSs in hospital for stiches one time (he wondered what would happen if you closed the scissors on your lip - knows now) and watched as our youth and family services personnel were interrogating a young couple in similar situation who appeared well dressed, articulate, intelligent, there with their parents (some from both sides) all concerned for welfare of child. Meanwhile ten feet away there was a teenage mom with her SCREAMING infant in an infant car seat, not buckled in, the seat sitting on top of the table rocking back and forth from the infants fit while mom was talking on cell phone, walking outside for cigarette, etc. Never once did she even try to comfort the kid. I watched as the kid vomited all over itself, choking for a minute and she never looked. The DYFS employee never gave that situation a second glance. OK boys and girls, can you say clueless?

How do you get "on chat"? :rotfl2: Maybe in the seedy alleys and flophouses from a way back?

Greetings... and good afternoon..

gonna ketchup and see what has happened during the day..

Besides me, anyone else working tomorrow??

Yeah I'm here  Then again DW says I don't really work anyway :rolleyes1

We don't get the "little holidays" but do get the federals and the last week+ (between Christmas Eve and New Year's Day) off :woohoo:

 FROM POP CENTURY

We got checked in and got a lite bite of lunch, we'll be heading over to OKW shortly to meet up with the others. If we're not too late leaving the meet, I'll try and post some pics of the meet, later tonight. We're in the 70's Building.........:)

Jealousy really setting in here.....

:thumbsup2 I got it last month when it first went on clearance. Been flipping through it when I can.

I've got the book too. It does help to familiarize what we might be doing on the TOAL!

I also have the Passporter DL book seeing that I have never been there.

I use these books like a bible when I plan and go on these trips.
