I have been informed by my ST's that they don't make thongs big enough for me!

(How big does a string need to be????)

I talked to Shelley~BIP

Good news!! Her condition is improving. Her face is almost back to normal, and she now has just a touch of the salty taste in her mouth.

She's just been busy with her kids, and also trouble with the Boards and the computer.

Hey all, remember me? Mary Ann (thanks!) sent me a PM saying she'd missed me and was wondering if everything was ok. Never thought about people might think I'd died or something, so I thought I'd check in and say 'hi'.

I haven't been around in a while due to work and vacation. (One week in UK on travel, a week catching up on shtuff and then a week in Atlanta with the inlaw). Too much work to do to spend any amount of time posting. Maybe I can get on line tomorrow or this weekend.

Before I go though, did anyone get a room assignment today??

 (they changed the smilies, I see. #13 is now dancing bananaman)

Hey Monica-
My 2 other DGKs will come down here next Sat. for Spring Break - rather than dye eggs that looks super - what is the recipe?? I think they would have fun making those. Thanks,

Chris

We didn't follow an actual recipe, but here's what we did.

You will need:
1 package Double Stuffed Oreos (can be generic but must be double stuffed)
1 package candy sticks (Michael's or any party supply store)
1 package semi-sweet chocolate chips (milk or dark would probably work too)
1/2 stick butter
Decorations - jimies, sprinkles, etc.

Prepare the chocolate: Melt chocolate chips and butter in a double boiler. Stir until smooth.

Prepare the cookies: Carefully separate the cookies. Make a "tunnel" with the candy stick. Dip the stick in the chocolate and insert into the "tunnel". Carefully place the cookie back together. The chocolate will act as glue to hold the stick in and hold the cookie together.

Dip the cookies: We found it easiest to hold the cookie about halfway in the chocolate and use a spoon to pour the it over the rest of the cookie. Using the spoon or the side of the bowl, slightly scrape one side of the cookie and place scraped side down on a parchment or foil lined cookie sheet. Sprinkle with sprinkles, jimies, crushed nuts - whatever.

To help set the chocolate you can place the tray in the freezer for 5-10 minutes.

You are lucky you got out of that store so cheap!!!! There is another Mickey Outlet at the Bells Outlet Mall off of International Drive and Sandlake. Look at all the money you are saving.:thumbsup2

The one at Belz is closed right now i think....

I like the one at the Premium Outlets though... (near Dixie Stampede) We usally spend our Disney Visa points there and get lots of stuff.

Had a long day yesterday, but it was worth it!!!

After my mom got home from work around 12:30 we went to get some lunch and then took a drive up to exit 318 on I-95 near St. Augustine. Angelina had seen a sign on our way south that there were outlet shops at this exit, so I promised her we would take a ride up and check them out. We first stopped at Prime 1 Outlets on the northbound side of 95. What is the first store we go in but a Disney outlet store. I found a zipper hooded sweatshirt that was orginially priced at $52.00, marked down to $29.99, then marked down to $17.99, when I got to the register, the price rang up as $4.99, needless to say, I was tickled about that!!! I got another t-**** and Hazel got three shirts, and our total came to $24.33. My mom also picked up a few items and saved a bundle as well!!!

Angelina didn't see the store she was looking for, so we went to the other set of outlet stores on the southbound side of 95. This is where the Coach Outlet store was she wanted to check out. My "ST" did find a small purse that was marked down at 30% off that she liked so she got that.

As we were walking around window shopping I received a call from Mark (disneypilots), I had a very nice chat with Mark while my girls went into yet another store to "look" around. Hi there Mark, it was great talking with you, have a safe drive down, looking forward to meeting you on Friday!!! :goodvibes

After about three hours of walking through the stores, we decided it was time to head back. We took a more scenic route and it took about 90 minutes to get back to my mom's. By the time we ate dinner, Dancing with the Stars was coming on, and I fell asleep on the livingroom recliner.........

Not sure what is in store for today :confused3 we're just going to wing it.............:rotfl:

Now it's time to go back and see what I missed here on the thread...........

Don't love a bargain!!!!!:woohoo: :woohoo:

JperiodspaceRperiod - yes we've missed you.....we haven't had our daily groundhog reports.....also miss you in chat....thanks for checking in

I'm in Marlborough - @ 25 miles West of Boston. My dad's side of the family, who all lived in Cambridge their entire lives, are buried in W Roxbury. I lived in Cambridge & Allston till I was about 5. The only time I have entered W Roxbury is for a funeral - LOL!

I really haven't been up to see my family in about 10 years. My Nana makes the trip down to KY for Thanksgiving and stays through January. I know when I ask my Mom where that is she will know right off. My other relatives live in Deedham, Mansfield and Mashpee(on the Cape). My mom is the only one to have left the area. She has been in KY for 43 years now.:)

Good Morning all!

DD had a district wide vocal music concert last night. It was nice seeing the choirs from middle school and the 3 high school choirs. They had signs up about "Concert Etiquette" and of course no one followed it. There were crying babies and adults talking too. I really wonder about people. They did tape it for local cable so maybe the sound will be better. At the end all the choirs ringed the auduence and held hands and sang the Irish Blessing. The choir director said it was for all the families who work so hard so the kids can be in the choir! She is a great person and what she does with the kids is amazing!

Tina, sound like you had a busy evening. Hopefully the tape will turn out great. :)

There are some things children shouldn't be allowed to imagine... A parent in a thong is one of them
