Good Morning all!
DD had a district wide vocal music concert last night. It was nice seeing the choirs from middle school and the 3 high school choirs. They had signs up about "Concert Etiquette" and of course no one followed it. There were crying babies and adults talking too. I really wonder about people. They did tape it for local cable so maybe the sound will be better. At the end all the choirs ringed the auduence and held hands and sang the Irish Blessing. The choir director said it was for all the families who work so hard so the kids can be in the choir! She is a great person and what she does with the kids is amazing!
The story was ok. Pretty standard plot. It was cute in spots.
Yes the 3D was good. We have seen the Polar Express in 3D at the local IMAX and this was almost as well done.
I was hoping they wouldn't be those wimpy red & blue glasses, since we had to pay $2 extra for them! I wonder if they would work well with the Shrek #D DVD we have? It came with the wimpy red & blue glasses!
Hear we are going to be in the high 30's for the weekend!
OK there's DISbutt, DISneck, DISlegs and now DISdiet?
We're use to it! And Lions! Of course last year was the exception for the Tigers. I finally found 2 tkts together for dd and I on July 6th!

DS still wont use the 3D glasses for anything. He is 8. Is is a decent story or one to be skipped?

The 3D is one of the best I have seen outside of the park. It was good but not a classic. I think 8 and above might understand it more. My DGD did clap at the end when the boy was adopted and finally had parents. Maybe she understood more than I gave her credit for.

Forgot to mention the glasses look like Drew Carey glasses, huge, black and ugly. Without the glasses, sometime the screen is a little blurry. I think the magic of the movie is the 3D.

Tomorrow is going to be another day in the 80s but we will drop to the 60s Thursday. Still not sure what Easter temps will be...so IDK what DD & I will end up wearing to Church.
