Tell me about it - 7 to zip... How pathetic. DH was especially bummed because he couldn't even watch on TV. Our 3yo DD had other ideas, and we only have one TV (downstairs).

Guess what I did? Forgot that Thursday was DD-2b 14 b-day - so now I'm scrambling to figure out what I'm going to do - she reminded me by saying - can I still do what I want for by b-day? She wants to lighten her hair - It has started already - my sweet innocent fragile child is started to be be corrupted and wants to be a 'blonde' (never mind that she's a dish water blonde - that's not good enough! ) she wants to be a true blonde because blondes HAVE MORE FUN!

No no one please take offense - I have nothing against blondes - I actually prefer them but I was hoping to put off this milestone for a long time - I guess they all grow up sometime huh?

Pray for me - this weekend will be a roller coaster of a ride - guess I'll have to shower all my attn to the girl doggies! At least they can't talk back!

WOW!!! We started our 10 Day Wonder last August with a huge storm just before leaving the port. I swear the lightening hit the boat. Storms are scary on the water.

Lightning hit our Norwegian ship in December. That was not a fun night!

I've only been in the Boston area once, about 16-17 years ago. Was great from what we saw (which was not much in about 1-1/2 days). Would like to cross Fenway Park off my list of baseball parks to watch a game. So far, I've seen MLB games at Riverfront Stadium (Old Reds), Great American (New Reds), Wrigley Field, Jacobs Field, PNC Park, Chase Field, SBC Park, McAfee Stadium, Coors Field, the old St. Louis Cardinal stadium (Busch field maybe? forget the name), and the old Seattle Dome (when Griffey and ARod were still there). Might have to check the Dodgers and Angels schedules pre-cruise.

That depends on if he got caught or not.

I got caught last week . I deserved it. I deserve a lot more. Driving 35,000 + miles a year and most of those are exceeding the limit 5-10mph, but only my 2nd ticket in 6 or more years. I pulled over before he could get his cruiser turned around. He was a state trooper and looked maybe 22 years old. He did the obligatory "Do you know how fast you were going?" I responded "around 66mph" (in a 55mph zone). He said "70". Guess I'm a liar for 4 MPH.

The funny part is that you could fit my whole home town on a large cruise ship and, of course, it has to be in the weekly periodical they call a newspaper because nothing else exciting happens. So I get to go to church, the grocery store, etc. and hear "Hey Joel...Saw your name in the paper (snicker snicker)."

I too am a Mud-gutter blonde too(my term ). And in MS and HS i did the horrible dye job - get dark roots two weeks later thing. I grew natural color back in in college.

However if i might make a suggestion, In the last five years, i've started getting foil highlights.... Works great to give you that blonde hair look but looks so much more natural than a total dye job.... I get somewhere between 10-15 foils. (You may want to start out with something like this to see how she likes the color change too)

No problems as hair grows back either... I can go for more than 4-5 months for touch-ups. (Although if her hair grows really fast she might want them done every 2-3 months)

I am packed! Now if I could get the guys into the program that would be something. DS Adam is the worst procrastinator there is! I have been after the both of them to get it in gear. I have taken Adam shopping a couple of times for some things he needed. Then Alan says last night I think I might need to do some shopping before I pack! LOL!!!!!

What about you? (now that I ranted a bit!) Are you all about ready to head south?

well micme2003...this may sound off beat, but you remind me a-l-o-t
of my lil 'miss..there's an underlying elegance in your presentations...
let me share...she has a style that is better than most "professionals".
on our last cruise, she really out did herself and the outfits she
had jordan in...lady with spilling out with every step.
here's a lil' footnote....you know how they do the interviews..prior
to the golden mickeys? the lady preforming ms. rivers ...told her she
"loved" her dress...& whispering "that ain't no act"! wanta know what
my wife said?..."i like yours too!".....i see the same type of pattern in
the things you say.

I will take that as a huge compliment reminding you of your lil' cutie pie. I saw the golden Mickey's twice but was always one of the first in so I could get center row front. I never saw the Ms. Rivers interviews. I guess I might have to be a little late. DH was in military for a couple of years. He has threatened to leave without me if I am not always ready. I have never tested the threat.

Thanks, I have a few cards up my sleave, guessing these will be very popular and DCL has never been to the Med before, I will know it a bit better being local, I have booked private tours in 5 of the 7 ports of call.

I think it will cost less for a familiy of four than DCL on their bus, and I can go where i want when I want.

Many people are reporting they are slod out quicker than a Palos booking.!

Andrew can you book what I should do for excursions. Seems like you are one step ahead all the time. I guess I must get high speed hook-up by next May. My dial-up is sloooooooow I will never get one excursion before all are sold out.
