....do the wenches read the cruise boards? ......someone looking to
help her "not so-thrilled husband" , discover the cruise bug? i am
just a "wondering"...if it made any of you "appricate" ;) ,us

maybe..i shouldn't write this..but, this is :sad1: . my lil princess: ,
had a school assignment of illustrating different tymes in her life...

9yeas ago she was born..her, mommy, and the nurse  ?!
6 years ago..she drew a pic of her being a "tot, & her mommy?!
3 years ago...." i was in the first grade"..her & a teacher!
finally "today"..doing Irish dancing with her class?! ,:scared1:
surely everyone can "see", the most important person in a girl's world
was mistakely left out !!!!

I saw that thread, and alas, I cannot help as my own DH is not so thrilled with it most of the time. He hates that he gains 10# each trip!

Your little princess: will have many times in her life when her affections bounce between Mom and Dad. Our Jordan would fall down as a toddler and push me away, saying "No...want Daddy!"...broke my heart! But then grew into a Mama's girl. And I have no doubt that once she passes the "stinky teens" she will once again be Daddy's girl!

Julie - I never received anything until this morning:

Michelle

Thanks, Michelle -- I'm guessing that they sent enough people actual invites to the NYC area one that they didn't think they needed to have a stand by line here, because I never received anything at all, while someone else here on the boards got an actual invite to this one (today around 3, I think). That's OK, I really shouldn't have been going with my oldest daughter in the middle of exams, but I certainly would have gone had I gotten the invite!

So are you going to try the stand by?

Not sure yet, I just got back into town late last night and surprise, surprise the laundry didn't magically do itself while I was away! DH may take DSs if everyone gets their homework done in time.

Michelle

Michelle

Too bad about the laundry .. . I totally sympathize -- I don't know why doing laundry annoys me so much compared to other things in life, but somehow it really does!

I love everyone's pictures!!!! Since we are empty nesters with no animals. We do not have recent pictres of grandchildren. I thought I would share a few pictures of my addiction to the "MOUSE!!!!" Hope you all do not mind. I guess you will all know who my favorite character is.:rotfl2: :rotfl2: :lmao:

DH is also talented (unlike me) and made my granmother clock.:yay:

I love it txs so much for sharing.

Hi Lisa, I can't believe the CM did that!!! Did anyone admit The CM's were new????:confused3 No one touches my child unless I gave permission!!!!!!

Oh yes, BJ said that she had several new people onboard. I also told her that they were standing in the way when the autographs were being done. Some of the best shots that I have of the kids is during that time before they pose for a picture and just talk to the character. :) She wasn't happy...couldn't act too upset as a CM ;)...and that is why she invited DD to the special princess event. We found out after we were there that it is mainly held for the MAW kids.

Thank you, everyone, for the birthday wishes!

It's always nice to wake up to something nice!

Speaking of that, the "stinky teens" brought me breakfast in bed! First time I've ever had someone bring me breakfast in bed!! :goodvibes

It was wonderful and made up for the first time (even though really the "first time" can't ever go back and change it, yanno? But I'm healing slowly but surely. :lmao: ) - we had a meeting with Mickey our first day at MK on that trip and then they had us meet (without lines- took us back ways into rooms!) some other characters and Cindy (Rita was in :cloud9: ) and Goofy even got Jeff to laugh at him! (for my non-disney husband that's huge...) and we then got to go with the CM they had managing this to take us the back way to ride Goofy's ride and they gave us a special moments certificate from Mickey and they took tons of pictures of us with Mickey and those characters and gave them to us for FREE. (it was a total of about 6 or 7 pictures, the rest were on my camera anyway) It was a very special meeting, not unlike your daughter's/her friends with the princesses.

So that's why I say- Disney may not be perfect... but they do give it the good old college try- to make it up to you if they mess up.
:thumbsup2

Shelley, my jaw is still on the floor after reading about how Mickey acted that day. :headache: How terrible for all of you. :( So glad that someone arranged for the special moment for your family.

As a point of interest, I was checking the #'s on our thread this morning. When I first signed on we were #2 in views and about 1,000 views behind the leading thread. I just checked a few minutes ago, and we are now under 300 views behind the leading thread..................;)

We are still #3 in total posts made...................;)

Four generations - my mom, my grandmother (she has alzheimer's), DS and myself this past July.

Don't know why this didn't post as the pic

Lorri....I lost my beloved grandpa 2 years ago this past Christmas, and he also had Alzheimers......what a cruel disease. Prayers to your family.

This one's of Issac flying his plane on the OR coast early last summer. It's from our Christmas card, not related to cruising - but I love it so much you're stuck getting it. :lmao:

Thanks for sharing....this is adorable...

As we know from Britney Spears, Paris Hilton, etc., getting out of limos, for many 2010 is already here . . .

I believe it is called "Going Commando" ..... although for the life of me I do not know why? :confused3
