We did this in January and it was a breeze. We get there early, so DW goes over to the Club check in area right away to get the beeper. If you wait too long, the line is HUGE! If the line is really long, wait until later that night or the next morning to get your beeper. You can't leave the kids in the club the first night anyways, so no loss.

Have they changed the rules again? On the 12/9/06 cruise you COULD leave your kids in the club the first night. It was changed back in October.

Me, me, me ... pick ME I've got my brother's kids for the night tomorrow night. He's got 3 kids, a 6 yo DS, and twins (DS and DD) that will be 4 in May. This will be the first time that the kids have slept out someplace WITHOUT Mom and Dad ... and it gets to be with ME

There's only one problem that I have with taking his 3 kids along with my own 2. The age differences are such that when I'm in public I find myself stopping random people to say, "Don't worry they aren't all mine" because I fear that someone will come at me with one of those pretty white jackets that button up the back and send me to sit in that nice soft room

My neice called me last night to remind me that I told her I'd get her ice cream, and to confirm that I haven't forgotten

Oh, then we will be doing pretty much the same thing! My neice called earlier today, and I invited her and my nephew to come and stay the night tomorrow. They are very close in age to my kids, so we love having them. I feel like a second mom to them.

My 2 are the blondies....my sisters kid's are all brunette...

LOVE that picture I'm glad that the kids are all so excited about this weekend ... but feel a teeny bit bad for my brother and SIL who have had to answer the question, "When are we going to Auntie's house?" about a gazillion and a half times this week

No, I think it was sooo funny. It should be repeated. I have a whole room of crafty stuff which my DH keeps threatening to throw out. I bought buches of stuff for scrapbook of cruises but I do have one page done.

My DW is the Queen of Scrapbook! She has a whole room of supplies and it is a major task for her to go somewhere to a "crop".

She just went to scrapbook weekend that our churches in Maryland & West Virginia held at our camp. She taught a class on a mini-scrapbook prayer journal.

I talked to a DCL supervisor after the deposits were in. There were very, very few rooms available. This was a shock to them.

Yes, this is because some TAs did things to switch the names on the quote and extend the reservation.

No, I'm just hedging based on the dates last year. It looks like they had it on the Thur and Fri we will be down there. We are coming right before, and over, the weekend prior to Halloween.

Have you or anyone else gone to this before? Just wondering how it is. Thanks.

Yea, it would be if there wasn't a couple inches of sleet covering the roads, should make for an interesting morning. Angelina's training tomorrow is 9:30am to 12:30pm, I told her I might drive her to work and stay at the mall until she is finished so I don't have to make two trips. I also told Hazel to get up with us in the morning and she and I can go to Friendly's in the mall for breakfast, then spend some time walking around waiting for Angelina to get done work.

Well, I am a bit nervous today. Mark and I start dancing lessons tonight. Our church offers classes for couples. It is suppose to be swing and other types. I have no dance experience and no rhythm. I grew up in a church that did not allow dancing so I never had the opportunity to learn. I will probably be the entertainment for the rest of the class. That is probably how I will dance, or maybe like this.

My DW wants us to do this SOOOO BAD! I know I will have to one day.

On the cruise we dance at least one time.
