Thanks. In the grand scheme of things, I know we are very fortunate, but it is getting difficult putting up with jobs we hate, a school we hate, etc. I know we are lucky to have jobs, school, etc. but I just need to wallow for a while. We really need to get the kids out of their school, but Catholic school doesn't seem like an option because DS9 has an IEP and won't get the help he needs. Plus I doubt we'd get them in anywhere for next year anyway. We are just stuck. Granted, there are worse places to be stuck, but it still sucks.

I nearly forgot.......tomorrow we're taking DD to see HSM in San Jose

Andy

Have a great time!!! I usually get tickets for al the different shows but, for some reason I didn't order tickets for this..... I think it's coming in July here.... I may have to see if I can get tickets...

Sorry, best I can do. My brain is in old gear tonight. (I am just 2-1/2 short hours from turning 40 and I am going to stay up until I am 'one day closer to death')

:cake: Happy B-day!!!

KSDisneydad --- if you see this could you let us know how your wife is doing?

Hey! How's it going?
We don't have passes at this time. We might be the only people on this trip without them! We have had them in the past, but have not renewed. As the kids get older, the harder it is for us to get out to Anaheim. We could still possibly arrange a time to meet there, we would just buy tickets.
Glad to hear you had a good time at the beach this weekend. Next time we come out to the beach I will bring some homemade marshmallows. Made some this weekend and boy, are they good! Forget those peeps!
Janelle

We use to have APs also but since we got a puppy earlier this year we have let ours expire. Will have to wait until Fall/Winter to see if we get them again.

Thank you! There was no listing for San Pedro, so I picked Los Angeles.

Actually there is no such city as San Pedro or Hollywood for that matter, they are all Los Angeles. LA is so big that they have, well lets call them districts, and named them like cities. Most of the people that live here in LA don't even realize this. Have to point out to them that if they do not have their own police force, fire department, school district or city hall then they are just part of LA. :rotfl2:

The seven dwarfs go to the Vatican, and because they are the seven dwarfs, they are immediately ushered in to see the Pope. Grumpy leads the pack.

'Grumpy, my son,' says the Pope, 'What can I do for you?'

Grumpy asks, 'Excuse me your Excellency, but are there any dwarf nuns in Rome?'

The Pope wrinkles his brow at the odd question, thinks for a moment and answers, 'No, Grumpy, there are no dwarf nuns in Rome..'

In the background, a few of the dwarfs start giggling.

Grumpy turns around and glares, silencing them.

Grumpy turns back, 'Your Worship, are there any dwarf nuns in all of Europe?'

The Pope, puzzled now, again thinks for a moment and then answers, 'No, Grumpy, there are no dwarf nuns in Europe.'

This time, all of the other dwarfs burst into laughter.

Once again, Grumpy turns around and silences them with an angry glare.

Grumpy turns back and says, 'Mr. Pope! Are there ANY dwarf nuns anywhere in the world?'

The Pope, really confused by the questions says, 'I'm sorry, my son, there are no dwarf nuns anywhere in the world.'

The other dwarfs collapse into a heap, rolling and laughing, pounding the floor, tears rolling down their cheeks, as they begin chanting......

'Grumpy shagged a penguin!'

'Grumpy shagged a penguin!'

:rotfl2: :rotfl2: :lmao: :rotfl2: :rotfl2:

Well kiddos, time for me to head down the hall. Summer Feeding Program started today and I have to be to school by 6:45 in the A.M.

Michelle sorry what should have been an easy start for you all ended up so stressful. But I agree if they don't know the answer for sure---they need to double check before they give out wrong information. I would much rather they tell me that they aren't for sure and to get a call back. Hope the boys have a wonderful time at camp:goodvibes

Thanks so much Paula, they made it--- albeit a bit late, but I am sure they will have a great time now today is over with! :faint:

Ok..decided to post the pirate joke I wasn't going to the other day but since we are posting jokes...

This pirate walks into a bar with a big ship's wheel down his pants. The bartender says, "Excuse me, sir, but do you know you have a ship's wheel down the front of your pants?"
And the pirate says...
Aaargh, it's driving me nuts!!

Hi everyone,

If you have a DD who is a Girl Scout or Girl Guide - I am happy to order a special patch for them to wear on the back of their vest/sash. The cost is $2.00 each and I would need a minimum of 30 to be able to order them.

Please send me a PM with the count on how many you would like. They look like little treasure maps and I will have wording put on it to do with the cruise.

I have orders from:

Disfreaks
Discruiser
ReAnSt
A Litle Pixie Dust

Thanks!

Ok..looked at t-shirts again...I will order later tonight. In a few minutes my Girl Scout Troop decends on my home for our family potluck. Once they go..I can figure out the order. I also need to order our bracelets. So much to do..so little time! I also need to start packing for next week's trip.

Tori also recieved her Wii tonight..so I know that Richard will be busy setting that up once everyone goes. I can't find the Fit...I have looked at Ebay but I think maybe when I get home from my trip I will get one...

Will be back later!
Nope, I can't find Wii Fit either. I'm not quite willing to pay 150.00 or so on Ebay to get one.

I just saw one on Ebay go for 400..no thanks..DD is playing her new Wii..it cracks me up..I have never seen such a thing! She is bowling and having a blast..

SO floating is a problem?

Floating is very bad...

It looks great! I would think that would float!

:rotfl:

I think you missed the floating tankini conversation :lmao: The tankini tops that I've had before all floated up when underwater and drove me nuts. So I'm hoping that that top will stay put or maybe I'll get a one piece.

I don't think so. It's cute!

Thanks!

We are in a whirlwind right now....I am assuming th etub would be g-tube but I could be wrong. Good to hear that insurance will pay, hope that is the case for DFIL. I am sure I will have questions when i really have a chance to sit and reallly think about the whole thing. He has to go visit a few drs first and then make a decision.

Man what a tough decision!

My Dh wore one of his new pairs of swimtrunks yesterday... Small problem was that they have pockets which fill up while underwater. They do have drains but when he got out of the pool it looked like his pockets were peeing.:lmao:

It better walk on water for $50 for just the shirt :scared1: (i hate that part of lands end)

:lmao: :lmao: Peeing swimtrunks!

Yeah that's why I haven't bought anything yet! The problem is they're one of like 2 or 3 places that sell long torso swim suits :(

Excerpts from a Cat's Diary...

Day 983 of my captivity.

My captors continue to taunt me with bizarre little dangling objects.

They dine lavishly on fresh meat, while the other inmates and I are fed hash or some sort of dry nuggets. Although I make my contempt for the rations perfectly clear, I nevertheless must eat something in order to keep up my strength.

The only thing that keeps me going is my dream of escape. In an attempt to disgust them, I once again vomit on the carpet.

Today I decapitated a mouse and dropped its headless body at their feet. I had hoped this would strike fear into their hearts, since it clearly demonstrates what I am capable of. However, they merely made condescending comments about what a "good little hunter" I am.

Jerks!

There was some sort of assembly of their accomplices tonight. I was placed in solitary confinement for the duration of the event.

However, I could hear the noises and smell the food. I overheard that my confinement was due to the power of "allergies." I must learn what this means, and how to use it to my advantage.

Today I was almost successful in an attempt to assassinate one of my tormentors by weaving around his feet as he was walking. I must try this again tomorrow - but at the top of the stairs.

I am convinced that the other prisoners here are flunkies and snitches.

The dog receives special privileges. He is regularly released - and seems to be more than willing to return. He is obviously retarded.

The bird has got to be an informant. I observe him communicate with the guards regularly. I am certain that he reports my every move. My captors have arranged protective custody for him in an elevated cell, so he is safe.

For now...

And that is why I like dogs!

And dogs... They think that every time we leave we're "Goin for a ride" or walk or something equally fun. They just don't get that we have to go work or go 'hunt' for food.

Did you ever notice how babies like to push buttons? It's like that's all we adults do all day is push buttons...

No , they didnt have it on the Med Repo .....One thing I thought about is we need to make sure we have Mickey Mouse ears too , I mean you cant be a mouseketeer if you dont have ears ...Looks like I be wearing me Pirate ears ...arrrrrr
pirate:

They did not do this on our WB Med Repo either :(
Love the shirts though. I probably won't get them for all 6 of us, but definitely for me and 2 DDs. :)

What is going to be going on at 10:45?
I am going to try to remember to order some ears or pick some up at DL. :goodvibes

Happy 40th J. R.!!!!

What with this and the previous dwarf/penguin joke, I definitely feel I've fallen in with the right group of people.

$400? Hmmm..... I actually have two (after the struggle to get a Wii I put myself on the waiting list in two places). Was going to use it as a gift, but now I'm rethinking that....

Wait! Where do you live..I will buy it from you..(not for 400 but still) :lmao: it will save you the trouble of all that Ebay stuff...:rotfl2:

I had mentioned a few weeks ago that my ds12 is very passionate about animation/cartooning. Here is a drawing he whipped up this morning and I thought I should share it with all of the Disney fanatics I know! Sorry the quality isn't the best, I don't have a scanner, so I took a picture of it.

I think it's quite clever.....I had never thought about Peter Pan having to stop for directions....

PeterPancartoon002.jpg

We had a giggle over that - he is very talented!
