You know I like the sound of Pirate Queen - maybe on Grown-Up Princess Night - I'll be Queen!!

Whenever I see something about a Queen..I think of Tori...when she was about 5 ..we were in the car and stopped at a light and she said very sincerely and with great thought...Mom..when I grow up..I don't want to be a Princess...I want to be the Queen...the Queen has ALL of the power. I laughed so hard..I missed when the light turned green.

I saw that too and was pretty surprised by it. Thank the Lord we didn't have any kids running around. It's pretty tacky for those ads to be on so early in the day on a weekend. There was another one for Cialis, or something like that, about how being "interrupted" doesn't matter. It was pretty shocking that they can be so open in those ads at such an early time slot.

As for the DCL show on the travel channel, I ran to the living room to turn it on when I saw the post. I pretended that I was flipping through the line-up guide when I saw it. I called my FI in to see the show with me and acted like I had never heard of DCL. It was pretty funny! He also got something in the mail from DCL with the logo prominently displayed on the top. I'm sure he knows I figured it out, but I'm still playing along for now. hee hee hee

My family is booked to fly into Boston this week - we have a birthday for our niece out there - plus we were gonna "hang" in the area too... but now it's being threatened by this so called heat wave.....

When you coming in? Suppose to cool off after Wednesday.

Schools are closed here but because of the flooding, not the heat. State of emergency is Southern Wisconsin

The main lake in Wisconsin Dells is spilling over it's banks. They fear they will lose the lake completely. Three houses have fallen in. The lake is rushing toward the Wisconsin River (along with the three houses!).

That's scary! Stay safe!

One more from me this morning

Someone asked me about shorts in the dining room so I asked about this. Shorts are allowed in the dining room, provided that they are the longer dressier shorts (they don't want you to look like you just came from the pool).

Yay! DH will be happy if I tell him he can wear his kahki shorts with a polo shirt.

It totally me to be watching a program with the kids and then all of a sudden a totally unappropriate commercial comes on. By that time it is took late and the kids already saw / heard what you didn't want them to. Has anyone seen the commercials for the new tv series coming to CBS called Swingtown? They have got to be kidding and they show the commercials for it during prime time. I couldn't change the channel fast enough one night while watching tv with the kids

I don't like having my kids se ANY commercials. SO I "DVR" a lot of the programming and only watch it on replay. And I obviously just replay it while fast forwarding through ALL commercial breaks. Often now - if the kids are watching something they will clammor for me to WAKE UP and fast forwrd through the commercials if they come on without my noticing (which sometimes happens). They are now conditioned AGAINST watching any of them!

A lot of what they get off TV is the Discovery channel (HOW IT'S MADE among other programming) ... and PBS, is common. Plus movie channels - which tend not to have much comercials. Plus they get some stuff from the Disney channels.

Could you do me a favor and think good thoughts for DH..he just called..and said someone hit him on the freeway (brand new car - believe it or not..he was hit only a few weeks back and we just had the car fixed!) He is waiting for the police to show and he says his back hurts...he says he is fine but stuck on the freeway at the moment. I am nervous that he is stuck on the freeway..will be glad when the police arrive and he manages to get off the freeway and home. Says the car is still running but damaged.

I looked on the traffic site in our area and found him!

Great News from DCL on Luggage!!!!!

The information that was given to me and numerous other people over the weekend and late last week pertained ONLY to the resorts! Disney Cruise Lines (at least for now), is still allowing 2 pieces of luggage per person to be checked with the onboard airline check in

I will check back again in late July about this but as of right now even if you weren't grandfathered, you will be able to check two pieces of luggage.

Great News! That will certainly make Cheryl happy

One more from me this morning

Oh no! Being stuck on a freeway has to be scary. He should make certain to mention a possible back injury so that it is on the record for insurance. You often don't actually feel the injury right away - it can partly be masked by the excitement and adrenaline of the situation and some things like whiplash take a couple days to appear. (I experienced that last November when I was knocked down by a teen at the MK and suddenly was in pain a few days later with whiplash!)

Sorry I did not include that. Since they don't offer Disney fonts I used the Impress font and size 35. Looks OK on the pictures. Will have to wait to get them to see how that looks.

For the Mickey Mouse Club t-s**** - does anyone have a good (reasonably high res) version of the logo? This would be a pretty easy "do it yourself" t-shirt project. I tried google image search, but I can't seem to find anything bigger that 340x340 which is pretty small. When I get home tonight I'll look and see if I have it in any of my books - just figured it would be worth checking if anyone here already has it!

Richard called..the CHP arrived and he made it off of the freeway..unfortunately, he has advised me he is going to work since he was almost there. When he gets there, I am going to talk him into coming home and getting his back checked. I know he is frustrated as we just got the car out of the shop a week ago from the last fender bender..both times he has been dead stopped on the freeway and people weren't watching and hit him. The car is only 2 months old and I know he is really frustrated. I will feel better when he gets checked out.

For some reason teh part about it being spookier because it's in French had me laughing out loud!

We 10ds gets home (DH, 17dd & 10ds went to the movies to celebrate DH's b-day) I will show him the pics. He enjoyed your son's posts the other day on the kids board!

Thanks for the pics Andrew, it sounded like a great trip. Seeing the pics seems like yesterday we were there, even though its been since Dec. of 2001. Brings back alot of memories...we stayed in the castle club in the DL hotel and had our own private elevator/entrance in the park. LOVED it!

Thank you for all the comments we took over 240 photos I didnt want to bore you with them all. Yes I have a few with Stephen with an actual smile, and their new 'Stich' and 'Tinker Bell' light jackets in the pictures do look very nice, - I have Grumpy.

Weight I am at 15 stone 3 today, (14 pounds a stone) so have nearly kept it off, I was 17.7 in January, got down to 14.10 before Paris.

DLP is getting a lot better and hopfully Crush coster will make it to the other parks.

Could someone tell me what we are up to for the FE count? I wan't to make sure I have enough. I showed DH my big bin of stuff that has to go in his carry on. I explained that this was all FE and can't take a chance of it getting lost, forget about the clothes. His reply was you have to be kidding me. I said nope. Thanks
