Party In My Room !!​

After much hand wringing, teeth gnashing and a flurry of emails, I found out yesterday that my TA was able to get us upgraded to a CAT 6 (GTY don't ya know)

We'll be the room with the open door. Come & hang out with us !!

Congrats ... perhaps I could meet a NJ Atty there to sign off on some paperwork and then all together we could head up to that House Closing party on Deck 10 that I've heard rumors about

I'm thinking that we'll be walking some fancy footwork between packing up a house and packing for TOAL ... maybe I'll just pack the house into one of those PODS before we leave, put it all into storage and then we can tell everyone that we said the heck with it and will spend our days on the sea

Oh - it started several years ago when Disney introduced it's new highly secret "faster-pass" program for those standing in line. It's based on some very sensitive research that discovered several facts:

• Lines at Disneyland are getting longer and slower for those who aren't in fast pass.
• People can spend hours online on their computers without even noticing the time going by.

Clearly the problem is one of perception. So to solve this - well, you notice the signs on most rides "X minutes from this point" ?
Well, each of these signs actually has a hidden subliminal flashing light that causes your mind the believe that rather than standing in line, you're actually online in a virtual line on your computer. Since you are now online instead of inline, the time passes by much more quickly (as per the second discovery above).
Most people aren't even aware it is happening - but their subconcious nevertheless reveals this by the fact that they describe themselves as being on line instead of in line.

I think we were staying at some nice hotel somewhere warm when I stumbled upon the hotels' kids' play area... complete with counselors for the few kids attending. They had a tye dye actvity with a feeof like $20 per item ... not too cheap but elaborate in my opinion with materials laidout. SO we bought a couple shirts and joined in the program. Simple but a lasting, memorable quality souveneer!

As for the FE distribution... I have not decided what or if I'll do anything in addition to the magnetic memo boards. I have a crew who are sharing the cost and labor to assemble and distribute the goods... so that's resulting in what I consider NO burdon to pull off (individually)... but it would have been onerous to do alone I think as I currently concieve of it. So I have time and energy to consider taking on another project to play "fish".

I'll contact ya if I end up doing anything... as I would welcome the walking company... plus maybe ships security will not shadow me asmuch as you'll legitimaize things with me ... since I might appear sneaky stalking through the corridors alone passing out FE treats (plus the occassional rock).

All i'm saying is I better not get a rock. How rude!

i'm talking about how people say they are on line when they are IN A LINE for something. that's what I don't get. You're not on a line for something- you're IN a line for something... you're physically in...a line..... how that is "on" line is something I can't figure out.

Hi, we had book the Sunset Sail but changed to the Rhythms of the Night Shore Excursion instead. It is great to know others from the cruise will be on the excursion. I agree that that it is going to be a TOAL. Georgiana

The ride suddenly stopped with no water.. the boat/slide/raft kept going and he crashed into the back of my head full speed. I flipped back into his head. His face was a mess to say the least. They took us to Williamsburg Hospital in just our bathing suits..( tell me that was embarrassing) My poor kids were left in the park to find my sister. She of course thought they were joking when they told her "mom and Marty were just taken to the hospital" Then we had to drive back to NY STATE the next day...in all that pain and broken bones.Needless to say we havent been back to Water Country...

I am the one that posted it, and I would never have done that to try to make you look like outcasts.

If I decide to try the DIY method, I will most likely do it on white shirts. So, we will be outcasts, but it doesn't bother me at all.

I was totally teasing about the outcast thing!

I know he did -- but he was posting that there were so few people listed on the FE list, and how else would they get their dry erase board, etc. I tried to say a few times that the dry erase board should be based on a cabin roster, not on the FE list because I know a lot of people don't do an FE. Then I wasn't sure if anyone was doing a cabin roster, and got nervous -- but Lisa rode up on her shining charger and rescued us all, as she so loves to do . . .
