Okay, I just clicked on a few of these links and in reading I truly can't even remember anymore what I am signed up for! :scared1: :scared1: :scared1:

Is there a master list anywhere of who signed up for things?

Maybe the first post could be edited to add the names of all who are signed up? So much fun to be had!!!

Not a bad idea. I would need a volunteer per event that could be given editing privileges on that particular thread and could summarize in the first post. Volunteers please send me a PM

I forgot, did you post a link to the DCL shore excursion department before? I could have sworn I saw it listed on here. I had a question about an excursion.

Here you go dcl.shore.Excursions@disney.com

Or maybe we can have a master list say a month before the cruise so see what everyone is signed up for so that we don't forget when we get onboard or will this be in the in the pirate: navigator that M is putting together

Saw on the Today show this morning...........the Mad money guy was predicting gas to be 5.00 a gallon before summer is over with. Interesting how bad the economy is getting that Disney's last quarter earnings were up 22 %.:rolleyes1

Busy next couple of days.........I am having my walk through today for house. I have a list of 7 things that still need to be done.

We are having a block party on Sunday. I am going to start my campaign to get votes for board of director position for our neighborhood association.

I really want this because we need change and instead of complaining I am going to do something about it.

Wish me luck ! One thing I have on my side is I started the neighborhood watch.

Good for you for taking action, Tina!

But I hope you have think skin if you are on the board. Remeber.....you will never make everyone happy!

My dad was president of their homowners assoc. a few years ago, and as many positive changes/improvements he made for the neighborhood (that increased everyone's home value), he still had a select few that could not be pleased. People can become VERY petty, and they started attacking him personally. While my parent's yard in perfectly maintained (they are both retired, and work on their garden quite a bit), they have a few neighbors who let the grass grow high and weeds take over....yet these petty individuals could only focus on the fact that my parent's gazebo had a shingled roof that did not *perfectly* match the roof on their house.

OK, checking out the calender on the piratezone (didn't know whether it was Drew's or Nate's b-day) I noticed I missed your DH's B-day, Diane. I'm sorry :flower3: - You always go out of your way to find the perfect cake for your DISer friends

:dancer: party: :bday: HAPPY (belated) BIRTHDAY MIKE :bday: party: :dancer:

Hope you had a great day!!!!

Please ignore the number in stock and weight messages you see inside the items. They are there for my use, and I never could figure out how to turn them off.

"In Stock" and "Weight" messages have been removed and should no longer appear.

My DH is president of out Home Owners Association. It is a tough non-paid job. Poor Bill's entire day was shot yesterday when he received an email early yesterday from the city stating the pool did not have the proper permit. They wanted him to chain the pool- yeah- right before Memorial Day weekend. He spent all day doing what we pay our management company to do.
Then someone got mad that there were kids parking in our neighborhood so they took a big chain link lock and locked the gates. Great- now no one can get in. :sad2: We were at dinner when the phone calls started pouring in. Since it was at night we had to leave and got to Lowe's to get bolt cutters and take care of it ourselves. We have a lot of things come up like that that he ends up dealing with. At this exact moment he is meeting w/ the landscape company to say "Get better or you are out".
Bill also owns a software business and is a very involved Dad. He is busy!

Wonder how much I could wear on???

But then they might try to charge me for an extra seat because I'd be so big?? :rotfl:

I was going to say I am trying out for the fat lady at a circus. ;) I just thought I would wear layers of clother but it is hot in California in August.

For those following my blog? The part where I talk about the summit trail with only inches to spare? Well this is what I meant

Imagine this with a steep drop off - we are the pinnacle and certain death! I'm sucha daredevil! :lmao:

I s the one in Arba that I am not taking!!!:rolleyes1

If you find me in the terminal - I will be handing them out. We are also meeting on the 17th at 3 p.m. at Scoops. I will also be there to hand them out for a little while.

No not Scoops but on deck ten Above Scoops.

If I remember correctly - I think Cheryl said right outside of scoops.

It would be way to crowed there!!! I meant to go up the stairs from scoops and meet on deck 10. Not meaning to shout but this needed attention.:)

Which is why I keep a Disney notebook -- I know that sounds sooo dorky! BUT, if I didn't keep a folder by the computer to write this stuff down I wold never remember! LOL!!!
This cruise I'm hardly helping with anything so, not much for me to remember -- I'm participating in FE gifts (I started buying them last summer!) and I am going to coordinate the Scrapbook Swap (we will be doing page kits & I will post pics this weekend so, people know what I'm talking about).
And I volunteered our room for the tour. I've not seen what most of the rooms look like -- just the suites & a Cat 8 (I think that's what we got DS & DD for the 10nt -- I just remember that I refused to let dh get them a verandah! :rotfl: )

That is awesome to hear Mary Ann:goodvibes  Makes you appreciate all the good stuff even more:woohoo: Take it easy on the booze though;) :rotfl2:

Thanks, Laurie. Ugh, I'm all talk on the booze..fact is, DD has a traveling soccer game Saturday Morn and needs to be on the field at 8:30AM and the game is 40 minutes away - UGH!!

Congrats on your AWESOME NEWS!!! I'm so happy for you and your family! Have fun going out with the girls!

Thanks, Penny

I had a heartbroken DS tonight. VMK closed it's virtual gates for the last time tonight. We've known about this for about 6 weeks, but he never wanted to give up TV time or skateboard time to play. Well panic started setting in last night so today he 'bought' no homework so he could play all afternoon. He was online from 4pm - 9pm. He didn't want to sign off. Poor guy.

I know we had chat trouble with VMK players but it really was a nice little game for the whole family. You created characters and spent time in a virtual Magic Kingdom. It had Main Street, Fantasyland, Tomorrowland, etc....all the good stuff you'd find in WDW or DL. I'm sad to see it go myself. There was a huge campaign to try to save it, many players even offered to pay to play. But Disney said it was a promotion for the 50th anniversary and it had run its course.

DS is still hoping that he'll be able to log in tomorrow. :guilty:

Has he read "Kingdom Keepers"?

Shhh. She's just about forgotten that (18 months later) and I do not need to remind her...

OK, J.R. I will NEVER bring it up again - NOT! :duck: :duck:

LOL
That's what I was thinking- that there can't be enough room for all of us AT scoops. :scared1:
I know that's the best place to meet to have the most room but man I remember how SHORT our visit there was with the group on our double dip cruise because man it was hot up there in the sun. LOL

This is why I don't want to be involved in ours........ DH won't deal with people like that since he deals with people all day and he HATES dealing with people! ;)

Okay people.... I need help with these shirt sizes!
The chest width it says to times it by 2- but the biggest width is 34 and that's size 6xl! This can't be right.... is it? I know I can't wear no 6 xl- that's crazy! But 34 chest width isn't realy that big..... I'm confused. To get the 6xl to fit my chest I think this shirt would be longsleeved on me and down to my ankles! that's about how a 6xl would fit me. so I'm really confused on this...
I can't order any of our shirts until I figure this out. width of shirts usually means just across- not all the way around the body (ie: if your chest width all the way around was 34- the width would really be 17 on a shirt) is that not how it's done on these sizes?
HELP!

Yep- most IT people are not the best people persons. I was very surprised when Bill decided he wanted to do this.
On the yard issues: We have received multiple awards for our landscaping and yesterday we received a note our yard was unsightly. :confused3 Our yard is great! Our management company is a little odd.
