wow, you all are amazing! I introduced myself a couple days ago, was not on again until today, and you added over 50 pages to the site! How long does it normally take you guys to catch up each day with postings (obviously showing how much of a newbie I am )

There will be my DH, Me, and our DDs ages 17, 15, 12 & 8.
I am going to try to catch up to speed on some of the important things that have deadlines.
Anyone have an abreviated list? Like t-shirt orders, exscursions and such?

I can honestly say that I can't catch up! I usually go back and read the last 4 or 5 pages and will sometimes go further back if I see something that I want to read further or comment on.

Mary Ann I am so happy for you. I unforunately do not get to see the success stories here at work.

We had a similar conversation with our kids principals and were pleasantly surprised at how understanding they were and we're missing 8 1/2 days They're getting certain homework ahead of time so it can be done before we leave and are also going to write reports.

Also, congrats on being Cancer FREE!! That's exciting news -- cancer has been very devasting to us the past couple of years.

What a great day. I needed to smile today and this did it.

What a joy to hear of this. I know your happiness as we are in the middle of a period where we are hoping folks we know can prove thier cancers are indeed under control or - dare we hope - completely gone? I have other news on other firends fighting their diseases - but that can come another day since the news is not totally clear yet.

I've said it before - and I'll say it again. We should all try to identify what makes us happy ... and simply try to do more of that thing which makes us happy. Simple.

I hope your loved ones receive the good news also . And, I agree with you whole heartedly...keep it happy, keep it simple

I have not had a good stretch of work here this week. We are in the midst of remodeling our pharmacy department and we have now been moved into an area that would resembles a goldfish in a dixie cup. Even worse yesterday a group of 6 people show up to do physical inventory. Today the State Board of Pharmacy shows up and I think they are a couple of drug reps and give them the brush off. Yesterday the IT department was crawling all over our department and interfering with my DISing . Seems like every time I logged into the DIS they would remotely access my computer.

Anyway, I have seen some posting about baggage and wondering if anyone else has figured out the AA policy yet. The first announcement that I read had the May deadline but I thought we were grandfathered in since I bought them back in Oct or Nov. But now looking at their policy on line it does not look that way. Anyone else have the answer. I did print my passenger contract prior to the change.

Hopefully Tom is right. I will be calling them prob tomorrow to see what is up.

I had to call DCL yesterday for something else with the cruise and the rep was so nice I decided to ask about our "special nights" just in case something had been announced. She looked for a while for me and couldn't find anything really except an internal communication telling them (the reps) to "check back soon" becasue it was going to be announced "any day now."

I was told the special night was the BALLROOM UNDER THE STARS on the night before CASTAWAY CAY... Also, when asked what it was.. she said you pull out all the stops for a grandballroom attire..

Well, I had a very exciting afternoon. My son and his school were taken to our CITY HALL and the Mayor gave a proclamation to them re: their Mock Trail Championship of our REGION. They came in 3rd place this weekend. Over 600 schools and over 8500 students competed... It makes a mom so proud... Then we were on the news as well. I got 4 phone calls in a row.. Like my family didnt know I was there as well...lol

On WDW luggage checking: defeats the ease of the checkout with Magical Express if you can only check in one bag!

Airlines:Why don't they just add the fee to the ticket instead of making you pay at the airport? Charge the same fee to all tix?

I got all excited........I got Mickey Mail today.



Then I realized it's for the Sept 1 cruise that I had to cancel.

But the package is so much better than ours. Has an addendum stating when Pirate Night and Formal Night are.

Doesn't surprise me inthe least.
