I had this happen in Target once. I stopped by on the way home from work and was in a white dress shirt and black pants. I was walking down an aisle and some lady said 'excuse me' a couple of times from the other side of the aisle. I had no idea she was talking to me as I was walking away to the next aisle. She came over and said "Excuse me, I need some help with something". Being a nice guy, I asked her what she needed and she asked me where something-or-another was and I said, "Sorry, I don't know" and started walking away. She then asked me if I was going to help her find it. I said no, I didn't really have time. She told me then that she was going to speak to the manager. I told her to go right on ahead. I guess at some point in time I should have said "I don't work here" but really, I wonder how often she shopped at Target and didn't realize all the employees wear red shirts?

At least she wasn't speaking Spanish.

I was standing in Bloomingdale's a while back, waiting for a friend to get out of the dressing room. A tourist (judging from the accent . . . ) walked over and said "Excuse me, do you work here?" I said I did not and she said "I'm sorry, but you were dressed all in black!" Well, first of all, that just means I'm a New Yorker, and secondly, Bloomindale's employees don't wear any kind of uniform . . .

We are going to WDW for a week next month. I have had our WL ressie for a while. When AP rates came out I tried to apply them to my ressie. Well, I got 2 days at the AP rate and the rest at rack. I have been calling every day to see if any AP's come open. A WDW rep told me there was basically not a room to be found in all of Orlando while we are going to be there. Now I know they are not all going to WDW but YIKES!! This is our 1st trip during the summer and that was making us nervous enough. This should b e very interesting.
Since we go frequently, we are not going to stress it.

(To make things even funnier, SWMBO is 1/2 Puerto Rican, so my kids are 1/4 Hispanic and technically a minority, so we often will mark the 'Hispanic' checkbox just to mess up the surveys. I can't wait until my blue-eyed, blonde son applies for a minority scholarship in college).

Maybe our mothers went to the same child rearing classes? Except my Mom didn't say brat. She was a bit more colorful with her languge.

Haven't been able to secure one. I suggest checking the planning boards under the LA section for some thoughts/suggestions. Problem is, group rate is not better than what some people are already booked at and if we go group rate, need to guarantee the rooms, i.e. if someone cancels, someone needs to pay for it....
