I don't know how to quote from an old thread, so I had to manipulate it!
Anyways, any new info on the scrapping?

I used to be a Creative Memories Consultant, so I would be willing to help out with this. Send me a PM if anyone is interested.

--or send me a PM and point me to the leaders because I don't see the info posted anywhere ---but it could be buried somewhere in the old thread and I missed it!
Hi Michelle:yay:

On the main forum, people are oposting they didnt know you have to 'confirm' the final unconfirmed bookings, you choose a Palo, or shore trip it goes into a holding list and then you confirm, people have lsot out not knowing there is one more stage to it.

Plus if you lost the link between this process, its dropped.
I wouldn't have known if it wasn't for Stace:confused3
It was easy to miss:sad2:

I am leaving shortly for a diocesan seminar out of town. I will not be back until Thursday.

IF there is no internet where I will be staying, there is no way in God's green earth that I will be able to keep up with this thread the way that we are writing! :)

So, in case I am not able to connect until Thursday night, see you.

However, while I am driving there, I'm going to be praying for internet access. You folks will help me "decompress" from our sessions! :thumbsup2
We'll make sure not to post anything important while you're gone:thumbsup2

I TRIED to tell people here that they ABSOLUTELY HAD TO hit "submit" if they really, really wanted something!! Too bad they didn't follow the thread!!

I remember Stace:thumbsup2 And Thank you:flower3:

There is something definitely wrong with the system

If you have brunch, tea or dinner already booked it shows them available when you go into your reservation to view that area. If you don't have one of these booked it shows no reservations available for them

:confused3

All right, you know me always late to the party, so I'm sure I'll read this exact thing in a couple of pages... but, here goes.

It looks like they held a lot of brunch reservations back. The few people who got them can modify their choice (pick another time) The rest of us can't see them.

Where are the math experts?

I understand Palo holds 140 people. Three seatings on each sea day. Maybe half the tables have only 2 people at them? So about 100 people per seating.

Kits, Cats, Sacks & Wives... how many people are going to Palo?

It lets me into Brunch but then there are no ressies available.

But it does let me in.

:rotfl2: :rotfl2: :rotfl2:
unfortunately the email you sent them, expressing concern over this, went to the "run around" dept.

Actually, the e-mail seemed to have gone to the "let's shut this idiot up" department..... :rolleyes1 :rolleyes1

Just popping in to say hi! DH (alanapapa) DD14, DD9 and I snagged a GTY Cat 5 cabin yesterday! We had to do some fancy footwork to get it paid today, but we did! I can't believe we are cruising again in 89 days! This will be our 3rd DCL cruise. We did a 3 day in July '05, 7 day Eastern in March of '07 with my Mom and now we are on the EB Repo! :cool1: Looking forward to getting to know people! DH and I are are already signed up for The Pirate Zone, now we just have to try and catch up with everything!

:welcome:

I have a brunch and it won't let me choose another time/date ..says reservations not available. :confused3

MATH ALERT!

The 3 times aren't really 3 whole groups of diners - It just spreads out the arrival times. Brunch usually takes us a couple hours! The 10:30 people are just getting going as the 11:00 folks show up. All 3 groups will be there for quite a while. That means only 140 people will have brunch each sea day. We have 7 sea days, so 980 people can have brunch. I don't know if the 140 number includes the private dining room. If not, then we can add 14 per sea day for that (98 more) for a total of 1078.

Since kids can't have brunch, that is 1078 adults - you would think that anyone who wanted could have a brunch ....

Hello all! I've heard so much about many of you via my DH, but I'm finally deciding to come out of my isolation and be social as our trip is getting closer and closer!

Happy to have onboard! Love your avatar!!!!

On one of my many calls today, they explicitly told me they do hold back slots, but it is "DCL Policy" not to release them even if a customer complains.

This was another highly unsuccessful attempt to explain to them that "policy" means they can, just decide not to....

Wow crazy night..I stayed up/tried until 12:30pm and that was enough for me!

The good news is our number one priority the Sig Dolphin Swim in PV we were able to get! I got in with in seconds to get it but then my story ends there! I tried for the next 25min to get brunch...selected the 10:30 slot and the site booted me....

This AM I booked the Best of Cartagena(Back up for mr emerald),a spa and palo dinner..alas no brunch...I will try at 75 and then on ship if need be...

Got some bummer news today..my summer employment fell thru....don't kow what I am going to do (don't worry cruise will not be affected!)

Chrissie

Chrissie, glad to hear you got what you wanted. Hope your not too bummed about you summer gig. Say hi to Brendan. Jack and Justine and Johnna say hi also!

Chrissie, that's a bummer about your summer employment. I'm glad you got your dolphin swim--it will be so cool.
I am so glad you got to stop by Nana's house. It was really nice to meet you and I guess Brendan was celebrating the Celtic's win. We heard the fireworks going off. I am sure that made your dinner that much more lively! My Nana was wondering where you got the huge strawberries? They were to die for. :goodvibes
Here is Chrissie and I in my Nana's kitchen Sunday.

Hey folks - I set up this thread on the pirate zone. I'm going to keep a list of who is doing what in each port. That way if you want to see who will be joining you, it will be readily available.

I know everyone is posting here, but it will get lost. So please head over there and post so it will be in one thread. And I'll create a master list from that.

good thinking Monica !!

I hope all the gtys get their rooms soon :wizard:

They'll probably email all of us GTYs and tell us that, beginning at Midnight on a given date, we can log in to disneycruise.com and secure our room assignment. First come, first served.

It'll be the last crash that the DCL server makes . . . as we all try to log on at the same time to get the "ideal" GTY room! :rolleyes1
