Real Question here....
I just went to order our shirts. Here's my question; Where it says Shipping what do we put?

:rotfl2: :rotfl2: :rotfl2:

I like that.."the slow plan".

Yeah, DH and I were dating for 5 years before he "officially " proposed.
He must have been on the slow plan as well:confused3

22 years together, almost 16 married:upsidedow

Kevin and I dated 3 weeks. We must have been on the Express Plan!

Announcement

Anyone who would like to be included in a roll call / roster of pirate:s should make a post on the planning board roster thread asking to be included.

This will ultimately result in a printable roster. We respect and value everyone's privacy, so we will not include anyone's information without their consent. :thumbsup2 Give a quick post and you will be included.

Done!

Hahaha I had never heard that either! Neither had DH...

Wow, grats to all the double digit anniversaries! We're celebrating our anniversary also - Sept 2nd. It's only our 3rd though :lmao:

Don't say "only"....do you know how many people don't make it to 3?? Congrats on yours as well!:wizard:

True dat! I know a few couples that didn't make it to 1 year.

Woo Hoo:yay:
I'm caught up.
Can I go to bed now:confused:

:rotfl:

you're from PA and not a Phillies fan?? hum....:sad2:

Ummmm....I live about 8 miles from Philadelphia, and I'm not a Pillies fan. (And I like the Eagles even less- some of my friends are over-the-top obnoxious Eagles fans so that turned me off)

OH yeah GM to everyone.
Sorry missed chat (again) I actually fell asleep on the couch before 10pm (can't really say what time it was but I know it was before 10pm LOL) -had a tiring day yesterday- outside all day for the younger two kids playday at school! No sleep + outside all day in the sun + a billion hyper kids all around you all day long = fall asleep on couch the minute you lay down for just a second to watch tv.

:confused3 :rotfl:

Hope everyone has a great weekend!
We don't have anything planned- we didnt know if Jeff would be working or not- but he wasn't asked to work. Supposed to be getting hotter this weekend, so I'm sure we'll be spending lots of time in the pool.
I gotta beef up on some sunscreen if I can find it on sale or something. I know how much we went thru last year! :scared1: And not much left at this point. Yes definitely gotta get more sunscreen.

Does everyone have plans to like "do stuff" for the holiday weekend? anyone else being a homebody like us? LOL We could probably try to make a spur of the moment camping trip in the travel trailer BUT with trying to save for the cruise + high gas prices..no thanks.. homebodies we'll be. LOL

Spending the weekend trying to get the pool open and the yard ready for summer.

Must be doing something right when you've spent more of your life with your spouse than without. :flower:

We've been together for 19 years, going on 14 years married. I'm 38 and Linda's 37, so we just passed the halfway point. And she's even willing to marry me again.

I remember chatting with her back in the early part of last year. She can help out with Mike's on board clinical rotation. Hear that Mike, classes start at 7am daily. :rotfl2:

Well I better get you guys my cabin number, because I'm still going to be in bed at 7AM.

That's gotta be a Philly term. My Dad used to call hotdogs tube steaks.

Maybe an older Philly term?:confused3
I've lived down hear for 15 years, and I thought it was something dirty.

Kevin and I dated 3 weeks. We must have been on the Express Plan!

And still together 29 years later? That's awesome. Congrats!

that's great!
unfortunatley we couldn't fly SW from here to Ca. :( We never can seem to get SW flights from Love field to anywhere we want to go- ever. :(

Or it is like 17dd/28ds trip in July..... They fly SW out of Love field BUT, on the return flight they land at DFW!!!! that would NOT work on a family flight since we would have no way of picking up our car! LOL!

uh, did you make that cake yourself? If so, you are awesomely gifted!

No way! LOL! A wonderful bakery in Ft Worth did it from a picture I gave them. :goodvibes

Her princess party last year was a HIT- well, it was a hit with the few girls that showed up mostly from girl scouts troop. Poor kid with the summer birthday doesn't get many classmates showing up- yanno? But they had a blast- all dressed up in princess outfits (have extra play outfits for those that didn't come dressed up) and we did princess crafts and had a "princess tea" with snacks, cake, smoothies made in my mickey smoothy maker ofcourse :lmao: , ice cream and then some princess games and pictures with the castle backdrop/etc. the pool party this time should be fun too- for those that want to participate. but your husband might have a heart attack because we have a pool AND a trampoline. :scared1:

I've emailed you with the rest of my answer... BUT, I had to say I know how she feels with a summer b-day. Mine is in July.... ;)

I'm cracking up about the trampoline & pool.... There is an ER doctor that lives across the street from us. They have 3 children under 6. And they have a pool & a trampoline, also! :scared1:

Hi everyone. I'm off for the summer from college and I'm very excited that the cruise is almost upon us. I still need to buy a costume for Pirates Night which should be fun. This will be my first Disney Cruise as an adult. Are there any other 20 year olds attending? If so, let me know.

 Talk to everyone soon!

Welcome! This cruise our 20 something children aren't coming with us --- if they could they would! LOL!

You must not be using Saxon, or you'd be trying to remember to use the term, "regrouping" like the rest of us. :teacher:

You're right! I don't use Saxon! LOL! I did *back in the day* when it was the only thing -- besides, Abeka for homeschoolers! LOL! We are going on our 20th yr of homeschooling!

The Pirates Page on the Website has been updated with a whole bunch more Pirates. We are now over 250 pirate:s featured. We even have another pharmacist, so we should be even better medicated. :lmao: :lmao:

Thank you so much... I realized that I have old info under my name.... I live in a different city (Mansfield, TX now) and we are in a Cat 3 8046 and we are late dining (no waitlist!)

I'll find a pic to send!!!!

Good morning!

Well..the final lanyard count is 300!

Below is a list of who ordered. If you do not see your name on the list and PM'd me - I appologize that I missed it. Please PM me again (please don't post it here..I may not see it) I have gone back over all of my PMs and double checked to make sure I got everyone but it is possible that I missed you. Anyways..I will be placing the order on Monday. The company does not guarantee the exact amount .. it can be +/- 5% so I will be ordering 5% over to make sure everyone gets theirs. I will post when I get them if I have some extra. I will also be getting the plastic sleeve for our KTTW cards and name tags that Chrissie is making. Thanks everyone for your orders!

I was there, Andrew -- did you think I forgot about that day at sea?:lmao: :lmao:

Yes, I had thought of the difference with Cartegena, but somehow hadn't thought about how slowly they would need to go to stretch out the time between Cabo and San Pedro. I wonder if it is less money to pay the per hour cost at the port vs. gas prices going slowly out at sea? Interesting issue.

I know when we have our 3 days cruises here which include one day at sea...when they have time to kill..they stop behind what is called the Channel Islands here. The just sit..sometimes our day at sea is literally just sitting there...then they are all of about 40 miles from San Pedro...more then likely, DCL will sit there also sometime today.

Dan & I probably met in 1984 (sorry, neither of us remembers where/when!) - we started dating in early 1985. We were married in 1989, so next month will be our 19th Anniversary. We have been together for 24 years. I just turned 43 and Dan will turn 42 in October, so we have been together more than half our lives :thumbsup2 I just never thought of it that way before!

DH is the one that always remembers the date of our first date.....
We first *met* when I had already had a crush on him for a year....I went up to him in the hall (we were in HS) during our lunch hour and stuck my hand out and said *Hi, my name is Stephanie_____, I hear your name is Jon ______. I see you like Hockey. (he was wearing his jacket covered in Hockey patches)*

DH is very shy and if there had been a hole to crawl in he would have! LOL! But, the next night he came up to where I worked (his best friend lived next door to me) and asked me out. :goodvibes

We've been married since we graduated HS.

Rob and I reached that mark this year. We met and started dating in Jan 1998, so this past Jan, we celebrated 20 years together. We will both turn 40 this year, so we have officially been together more than half our lives.

In June, we will celebrate our 16th wedding anniversary!

So..to make this work..do I have to carry the 1??? :rotfl2: :rotfl2:

Tom has requested a list of liquor stores close to the Double Tree in San Pedro. Here is the link Liquor Stores in San Pedro. I will had this to the planning board under Pre-Cruise. I will see if I can get some photos tomorrow.

Roger, maybe you could help us out with this issue -- those of us planning the pirate buses want to make a liquor stop between DL and San Pedro -- but there will be three buses, likely carrying 50-60 people each (yes!) . . . so can you think of three places on the larger size (with plenty of registers) on the way so that we do not clog up one place and delay our arrival to the port?

Thanks so much . . .
