As long as you are not on Delta, you should be alright. All airlines except Delta are giving a pass if you booked before thier announcement. Delta is applying the extra bag fee to everyone, regardless of booking.

We are on United..

I know JetBlue is grandfathering..if you are nervous email and ask...that is what I did and I am printing the email and taking it with me!

Chrissie

Thanks for the idea.

The times are 10:30 & 11:00 & 11:30 on the brunch..all sea days are still showing available except the 21st at 10:30 and the 27th at 11:00. They say that there are no ressies available.

One thing I noticed..when I put in for 2 people..all 3 times showed..when I put in for 4..only 10:30 and 11:00 showed.

So we are 11 am on the 24th?? Ok!!

Don't know if I saw these posted yet...
Can any of our early bookers check and see what time the following tours are offered in Aruba?
De Palm Island Beach Getaway
Sea and See Island Tour

Thanks,
Kim

OH Kim, we are doing the Sea and See Island tour too..

Thank you for the times Desiree!

OK, for the Pirate Brunch, we'll each TRY to get Sunday the 24th at 11:00AM. If that isn't available, then 10:30 and then 11:30. Once we are on board we'll try to arrange with Palo to seat us all in the same area of the restaurant.

Once you book your brunch, please post on the Planning board (or send me a PM) so we know who all is in on this event.

Pamela

It is just Brendan and I in a Cat 11....would I like a veranda, suite etc sure! but we are only in the room to sleep and shower and dress....if I want a view I can run up on deck!
Chrissie

US too..; cat 11

So then,we want to put down 11:00 for the 24th?

Okay. I'll try..

This is the one we're ordering...Wednesday night I think. It will arrive sometime in July. It's the new Clubman. Just a bit bigger than the Mini. Which will help, since I'm going from a YukonXL to this.

Cool car --- I took me quite a while to get used to going from my Durango to the Milan. I still miss the massive tires in the winter.

Funny you should mention tires. I have this "thing" about brand new tires with big thick tread. These tires look like Frisbees to me.

But the $100 a week in gas is killing me!

We must of had the same DJ. I told mine, well then I guess the guests will have to sit around & watch me dance instead.

That's about what I said. Oh, and a Cleveland wedding with no polka! {gasp!} BTW 14 years later and we still hear from both our friends and our parents friends what a fun reception we had. :)

I have outlawed all organized dances at ours..AND no one shall request either!

Chrissie

Well, it was 1994 so I do have to admit to the Electric Slide.

OK pirate:s I'm off to nap.
See ya in chat!

Time for a joke!!!!:goodvibes

An English professor wrote the words:

'A woman without her man is nothing'

on the chalkboard and asked his students to punctuate it correctly.

All of the males in the class wrote:

'A woman, without her man, is nothing.'

All the females in the class wrote: 'A woman: without her, man is
nothing.'

I've come full circle with cars. In order:
Corvette
Camaro
Cavalier Station wagon (1st child)
Mitsubishi Montero (2nd child)
Chevy Astro Van (3rd child)
Suburban (kids in sports)
YukonXL
Chevy Equinox (spare to the Yukon)
and now the Mini.

And when I'm old, I'll be one of those people in a Jaguar that's far too old to truly enjoy it. ;)

You know, honestly, the one thing that has worried me the most is that I seem to have a target on the back of all my cars. I've never been in a wreck, but people can't seem to resist the urge to rear-end me. In the big cars/trucks I've had, I've been able to laugh at their damages and walk away without a scratch. I don't think I'll be laughing any more.

Stace have you ever thought about the mini convertible?

And here I thought she'd just be a WO.

No convertable. It would mess up my gorgeous hair. :car: (yeah, right)

Actually, we just don't have enough time here to really enjoy it. Most of the time it's too hot. And I really like the look of the hard top better.....on that car, anyway.

My Jag will be a convertable. By then, I probably won't have any hair. Or teeth.

Okay boys & girls....nappy time for me, too. I'll be here for moral support later.
:grouphug: :grouphug: :grouphug: :grouphug:

I had a 2 of these for pets when I was a kid!

Sorry don't think of them as pets.:rotfl2:

Will you all PLEASE stop talking so I can ketchup????

:rotfl2: :rotfl2: :rotfl2: :rotfl2: :rotfl2:

By the way....Mouse Count:

Mice - 0 -
Family - 5 -

I remember years ago when the kids had someone sleep over, I'd have to think of things for them to do. I bet no other Mom ever had a mouse hunt!! :rotfl:

:thumbsup2 wonder how many more?

Love the puppy!!!!!

Don't know who he belongs to but doesn't he look like your Harley?

I won one of Ducky's lithos in the Silent Auction during our August 2004 cruise, then just a few weeks ago, I bought this Ducky litho (pic below) on eBay. It was a birthday present for myself. This is actually the litho I was hoping to win during the Silent Auction in 2004, but when the bidding went over $500 I stopped bidding, the final winning bid was $1100. I bought this on eBay for $105, not a bad deal at all!!! I had it professionally framed after it arrived.

Great Looking Litho Andy.

You can always wear a fashionable scarf around your head?

So then,we want to put down 11:00 for the 24th?

Yep! Hopefully, it won't be popular other than us and we'll all get it...

I did this at my reception. No one seemed to mind. Bigger "issue" was that we had a band that played "big band" music and a little pop. A few people didn't seem to like that (wanted a DJ and top-40 stuff) but DH and I had a great time. Most people seemed fine with it (or at least didn't complain to us!)

The reception was really my parent's party that they gave for us to celebrate our wedding. I didn't really feel strongly about a big reception (Tea and CAKE :cake: in the backyard would have been fine!) but my father really wanted to throw a big party. My wedding completely overshadowed their 25th wedding anniversary (2 days after) and Father's day (same day that year). I agreed to the party as long as my part was to show up that day in a fancy dress ;) They did ask my opinion a few times, but it was pretty much their planning/organizing and DH and I had a great time. The only thing my parents asked me to handle was arranging the band and my father's only request was that there be some "real music we can dance to" (meaning ballroom dancing - both my parents and DH & I enjoy ballroom dancing) so we found a good dance band and didn't really care they couldn't play the top 40 songs of 1989!
