It looks like a thread a week now! Yes there are a lot of posts on the main board of people not keeping up, -last Sunday/Monday/Tuesday, was the first time I gave up on ketchup, and I easied off this week as on the previous thread I did a lot. With tonight coming up we are going very fast anyway.

Need to prepare #8 tonight in case....

I will check around 9 eastern tonight and see... I think we will be good through booking....

I do want to thank all those that have cut/paste the important stuff to the planning boards

Andrew....I'm ok with the jumping part........As for the speedos or the thong.....Ick I'll throw you overboard if you even think about it :scared1: ..... LOL

We'll just go for the $2 jump!
:lmao:

I've heard wonderful things about the 4 hands massage at the Krystal. Pretty sure that's what I'll be doing the afternoon in PV.

Here's the list
http://go2vallarta.com/milleniummassage/

Note, the prices are in Pesos, so a simple conversion would be 10%

We were actually thinking of going to Krystal to spend the day. I've read on cruisecritic that it's a nice resort and kid-friendly. Has anyone been there?

Kim

Are we there yet??

I've already had to buy a Mickey Mouse suitcase!! I REALLY don't want to have to buy another. I'll just have to throw away clothes as we go.

Hi Everyone!

We survived the big plant sale (I"ll post a few pics later) and I am trying to ketchup here. I'm nearly up to today - just keep the posts down a little longer and I'll get there!

I just had to reply to the quote above - DH always does this! He deliberately brings his older underwear, socks - maybe not so old it is gross, but certainly past its prime and likely to be thrown out soon anyway - and then throws it out each day as we cruise. I always wonder what the room stewards think of the crazy American guy :rotfl2: He is trying to convince me that DS9 and I should do the same this for this trip - he thinks if we all throw out our underwear and socks it will make enough room for the stuff we buy!

Pamela

Okay....so...in American English.......I'm on port side....what will I see from my verandah???

By the way......Anyone know the difference between a VERANDAH and a BALCONY?????

Good one! :rotfl2:

QUICK LITTLE POLL......

Regarding tomorrow night's bookings....Are you:

1. Nervous

2. Excited

And why???

I'm nervous because there is only a couple of things I really really want, since I'm not really a "spa" person, but I'm afraid those "couple of things" are the same stinkin' "couple of things" everyone else wants!

I actually am not against small tattoos. I just don't care for the ones that completely cover large parts which is what hers did. From her knee down it was solid tattoo. Plus she has several on her arms, back and who knows where else. To top it off, she's always complaining about never having any money. The tattoo on her leg is fairly new and I have no idea how much tattoos cost, but I bet it was not inexpensive.

Yes, it's an annual festival in Erie, Colorado. As you can see, that's just west of our house. They have several smaller festivals here in Colorado throughout the summer months.

We feel truly blessed to have the view we do. Nearly everyone who comes to our house comments on it. We just thought that if we're living in Colorado, might as well be able to see the Mountains everyday!

That tatoo story sounds like my DB! He's never been responsible when it comes to money, but just recently he had to borrow $300 off my DSIS to pay his rent shortly after he got an eagle tatoo that covers his entire back. I can't even imagine how much that cost? :confused3

Was able to book a room three weeks ago and now am trying to catch up on all of the planning... 3 months and counting.... :cool1:

Welcome!!! :flower3:

Hopfully Diane and myself are doing thoose together as one, on our private Van hire, I iddnt want to leave it to the tour time, we hopfully can get going at 9.30am as we have the van for eight hours. Plus we will nto be packed in as the van holds 12 and there are only 8 of us, inc 4 kids.

So Diane will be allshookup earlier than you on the Tequila :woohoo:

:lmao:

Please, God, PLEASE do not let my in-laws find any of the available cabins.

Please? Pretty please?

Hi Enna! Wow you must really be in the WPP, since you've even been hiding from us! :goodvibes

Hope he uses SPF Eclipse of the Sun.

I dunno, I never used the wish list before and what I had set up went *poof* last week. Definitely going to check it a couple times today.

I just found out today that mine went poof too!

Just told him...

He said "I know we are going in August"
I said "dad look at the date"
He said "June"
I said "In 24 days will will be in Disney"
He said "awesome!"

and people wonder why I am crazy about Disney!

Chrissie

Aw that is so nice Chrissie! :lovestruc

Unfortunately no. The last we've been told by DCL is they are waiting for the completion of the EB before they finalize our plans.

Oh boy we ARE really in trouble then. Do you think we'll just show up for dinner & they'll say, "oh btw tonight is formal night!

Guess what I found in my backyard the other day?:rolleyes1
backyard040.jpg

ooooh looks like you are not in Chicago anymore!

I won one of Ducky's lithos in the Silent Auction during our August 2004 cruise, then just a few weeks ago, I bought this Ducky litho (pic below) on eBay. It was a birthday present for myself. This is actually the litho I was hoping to win during the Silent Auction in 2004, but when the bidding went over $500 I stopped bidding, the final winning bid was $1100. I bought this on eBay for $105, not a bad deal at all!!! I had it professionally framed after it arrived.

ooooh very nice buy there Andy! :cool1:

A kid I went to school with was named Barney. His parents and my parents traveled in the same circles. My mom tells about the first time she saw Barney as a baby. She asked his mom what his name was and when the other mom said "Barney" my mom said "But what's his REAL name?"

I guess that's where I get my Foot in Mouth Disease. :rotfl:

:rotfl2:

Over the years we've travelled with family memebers several times and what works for us is that we only *have* to get together for dinner.

We did this with our adult children on the 10nt cruise, also. We paid for their trip and that was what they had to do in return. ;) Meet us at the table for dinner. We all have a good time that way! :thumbsup2

Worked for us on our RCCL family reunion cruise too! We mostly just met for dinner & bunch of us would hit the Viking Crown bar for a mellow evening.

OK For you who are not succesful in getting to see the cliff divers at Acapulco, I am prepared to jump in the Mickey pool from the slide, for a few bucks each, It will give you the idea, and me my Room service, tip money.

:lmao:

:sad2:

We actually have done that when we take our one week/ten day trips to out islands. But then, I don't need to take nice undies and things for formal nights. Can't quite do it on the ship.

One year in Bonaire, we'd tossed out old t-shirts and as we were loading the car to leave, we saw the maids going through the t-shirts and trading with eachother. Kinda funny but kinda sad at the same time.

So someone somewhere in Bonaire is wearing a t-shirt from a casino saying "I'M A WINNER!!" :rotfl:

You really don't see me here. I AM ironing. Really I am.

Where's that darn Fairy Godmother when you need her???? pixiedust:

I'm in for the $2, but would consider upgrading to the union jack if you would rate yourself as an Austin Powers type or a Prince William type . . .ummm

Can we remove the children from the pool just in case??

Does anyone know if its going to totally kick you out and make you completely log back into the site when that 12:00 EST comes?

you need to login after 12:01, you may need to log out and in

The reason I don't even buy clothes that need ironed or dry cleaned anymore . . .LOL Takes up too much computer time:cool1:

You have other MILs?????

It is possible ... I have 2 MILs! DH's parents divorced when he was 5 and both remarried. Fortunately, neither of them is a big problem. I actually LIKE traveling with DH's Mom (step-FIL is more of a problem, but not like you folks have described!) DH's Dad and step-Mom are OK, but we nearly went nuts when we took them to WDW with us. They wouldn't make a decision about anything - no matter what we asked, the answer was "whatever you would like to do is fine with us". We couldn't get an opinion on anything! I'm sure they were trying to be "easy" and not be a pain - but it ended up stressing us having NO IDEA what they liked and didn't like! If they were to ever cruise with us, I think we would do the "just meet at dinner" thing and let them make their own plans. We couldn't really do that at WDW since the reason they wanted to do the trip was to see DS having fun there - he was about 3 at the time.

I HAVE FINALLY CAUGHT UP! KETCHUP IS DONE (for now...)!

Does this help you make up your mind???!!!

Hi everyone, I'm back from the AIDS walk, which was a lot of fun and somewhat tiring, which is appropriate. It started drizzling as we came back into the park (after walking all the way north through the park, across on 110th to Riverside, and then down Riverside to 74th to turn back into the park -- 10K, so they say) so the big party at the end sort of fizzled out. I'll have to check the website later to find out how much money was raised, but there were a LOT of people walking, so it must have been a large amount.

Prince William type!:thumbsup2

Andrew, I answered the question so you don't have to . . .:rotfl:

Anyway, don't sell yourself so short . . . Austyn Powers has a nice full head of hair while Prince William is thinning quite a bit on top . . .

Just checked on DCL and there are only cabins available in Cat 6 and Cat 9 . . . When I went through the process for Cat 9 (since were are GTY 9), I found that they were not allowing you to select your room, but promising GTY 9 . . .Maybe there is still hope for that upgrade :)
