I think others have covered this, but this is what I did in 2005. We stayed at the Radisson. I took the airport shuttle to the hotel and then next day back to the airport. We met in baggage claim. I don't recall the time but I think we were to the port before noon.

Thanks, I'll check out the Radisson as well.

Children nothing!! I LOVE Nemo!

Proposal for booking night

I know we were talking about being in the chat room and some people were going to call each other.

Is anyone interested in a conference call? I have access to a conference bridge through work. It's technically for work purposes, but what are they going to do, let me go? :rotfl: They've already done that! Besides I used it during the AWE Red Carpet (for about 6 hours) and never heard anything about it.

If there's enough interest, I'll PM everyone the info.

Sounds like fun Monica.........could be to distracting for me. With DH asleep ( he has to get on the road 4:00 AM ) It will be just me trying to figure it all out.:scared1:

They found Nemo!

they_found_nemo.jpg

:lmao: :lmao: I won't be able to look at sushi the same, but that's o.k because I don't care for it.:rotfl2:

As of right now, they're showing Palo brunch ressies for all of the sea days. They don't show anything for the Panama Canal Day. If you really want that day, I would check every so often to see if they add it, based on how it went over on the WB cruise. If not, ask when we board in 3 months from today!

If you're booking a table for 1-2 people, you can choose from 10:30, 11:00, and 11:30 AM. As of now, they all have availability.

If you're booking a table for 3-4 people, you can only choose 10:30 or 11:00AM. There is no availability showing for Thurs Aug 21 at 10:30 AM, or Wed Aug 27 at 11:00 AM. Everything else is still available.

QUICK LITTLE POLL......

Regarding tomorrow night's bookings....Are you:

1. Nervous

2. Excited

And why???

Both! I am nervous because I kept losing my internet today. DH went to hardware store and got a new cable and it hasn't gone out again (yet). Plus we are doing all DCL excursions so I am hoping they aren't all sold out. I have a few options for each port and I'm trying to be flexible and not sweat it. Hey, I will be on my TOAL, so that is all that matters.

Definately excited. Once we reached the 3 month mark and I have my Palo reservations and excurstions booked it is real. Just hope I can stay awake and am not up until 3 AM. I told work I had an appointment and would be in late. :lmao: I may just take the whole day off.

Anyone noticed this?

3 transits of the Panama canal by the Magic so far, each time the Magic has used the same set of locks. IE going West to the left, of the two or if going Eastbound the right of the two. (As you approach)

Presume is because of the viewing gallery's are on that side, IE Port W/B and Starboard E/B. We saw yesterday people waiting to watch the Magic on land on its port side. At the last two locks, Perdo Miguel and Miraflores.

If this pattern is the same, the Port side will get the view of the other set of locks and the ships going through them. Starboard whatever lock it goes through will see the viewing galleries.

2005.

What does this mean for the Cat 10s?

Darkness :rotfl2: Sorry

Brunch was listed for every sea day. :thumbsup2

Blame my Dad. He's the one who gave my brothers and I our "weird" sense of humor.
:sad1:

In other words:

I'M INNOCENT!!!:lmao:

Oh don't get me wrong...........wish I would have thought of it.:rotfl2:

Help!

I've fallen behind and I can't catch up!

Fate.htm_txt_fall.gif

I gotta run the spouse and daughter to the Santa Barbara Zoo for that Girl Scouts sleep over now - TTFN!

Hey, anyone up for a friendly sprint to 3000? All eveyone need do is throw on another 70-100 postings or so EACH and that will more than do the trick!

Question: what is the link for the PV Zip Line?? DH Paul decided he does want to go - I think that is the one where those who are chicken can observe?

Does anyone know how the children observe at our pirate zip line adventure? Do they walk along with the group or stay somewhere completely seperate? I am so excited to do this one! :)

So I just re-read again :rolleyes1 that's means we are on the wrong side. Do you know if people were taking pictures of you on both sides? I thought it was just the starboard side?

Can you imagine all the people on one side of the ship.

Yeah,

That catagory 10 is still available. I just priced it for a quad with kids aged 4 and 7 (like my family) and minus the travel insurance, minus the transfers, PLUS MY EXTRAVAGANT REFERRAL FEE... it came to only $17,868.16! Anyone interested can PM Andrew to effect payment ... seenin' as me an Andrew are tenderin' the contraband, er, rather the booking fees and fare... strictly as a convenience for YOU. So the cost for a quad 10 with kids aged 4 and 7 is 7,868.16 without the fees that Andrew insists on accessing and passing on to me ... in small well worn small denomination Pounds Sterling notes.

Remember, I remain perfectly INNOCENT as all funds went through the UK and I never had constructive devliery of any extraneous fees in the matter. Gee, ya suppose this makes Andrew.... the guilty one?

< sinister chuckles >

Seriously now, and for the 2nd time - I gotta go - but my dear sweet spouse is STILL not quite ready to leave the house. GEe wiz.. it's been like this for 20+ years now and nuttin' ever seems ta change 'round here. NOW... no one hand her a copy of this posting when we board ship now.... ya hear! :lmao:

You are soo so bad, for the lurkers is 00.01 am Pacific time.

Missed this before, sorry you were talking to yourself, I do that every morning when you lot are in bed!

I don't know why everyone is waiting, I have a high source that says you can book right now....

We are both on the same side, it isn't the wrong side as such as both sides have there pros/cons.

PORT

Might see across to the middle of the locks and the other lock as well where ships will be passing, I want to see that.

S/BOARD

Will have viewing galleries, but only see one side of one set of locks.

On deck people will be forward-front, and either side depending on what they want to see.

In transit in the canal, both sides have excellent views of the canal vegetation and other water craft,

duct-tape-baby.jpg

I think they have a great child care facility for "holding" your kids while you zip along....

OK... now for the 3rd time - I gotta get going to the Santa Barbara Zoo... but I'm still waiting for Alicia....

Impatient_rat.gif

There is NO technical resemblance between me and the rat - it's simply the 1st convenient animation I ran across....

QUICK LITTLE POLL......

Regarding tomorrow night's bookings....Are you:

1. Nervous

2. Excited

And why???

I am excited to see what we are able to get and if the system works! We are pretty good figuring stuff out on our own, so if we don't get the excursions we will be just fine winging it at the ports.

As for Palo, we have been there several times and we will survive if we don't get any times. I do think that there must be plenty of times available being that the cruise is so long. We don't have any specific dates in mind and we don't know when any of the special theme nights are, SO, not too big of a deal.

I am going to try to get a tea. We have never done that before...

I also really do want a spa treatment, do those usually sell out? Again, I assume that because we have so many days at sea, we will have plenty of openings.

What order is everyone planning on booking their stuff?

I think we will be excursion, Palo, Spa...does that seem right?
