Good idea...we do need to try something new...

Did I tell you about the time me, DD14 and Friend of DD14, DD10 and DD3 got yelled at for trying to take kids into the bar area of a restarant in Indiana? They looked at us like we were nuts. We had to wait 10-15 minutes for a table, so we headed over to the bar area to watch the Packer game and 3 people chased us down and said that kids couldn't be in the bar. WHAT?!?! I had never heard of such a thing. We were baffled!

Here in Wisconsin, they have high chairs in the bars...

That happened to us at a Holiday Inn in NH. Odd thing is we were sitting at a booth, but because it was technically "in the lounge", the kids couldn't stay. We were there for a family wedding & a lot of MY family from out of town were there, but I had to leave because of the kids. Of course you think because it was MY family that DH would've gone back to the room with the kids & let me visit with MY family, but he came stumbling in about 1am. Do I sound bitter?

I'm still on page 108, but thought I'd drop in to share this picture from my bedroom window this morning...there were 15 balloons in all.

Seriously that is the view from your home??? That is absolutely gorgeous!!!

Maybe we can have a Deck 2 traveling cabin crawl. We supply the drink and they supply the balcony.

I love that plan! My favorite drink is Bahama Mama's & you can find my room number listed under Pirates!

Well, it's been fun watching the Magic. Off to run errands and take the kids to swimming lessons. Extra long weekend for them - no school today for Professional Development and Monday is a stat - Victoria Day. Hope to make it to chat later.
