Just what time PST should we be watching the cams next week and what are the links? We need Veranda Man (Andy). Boy, I miss his posts.

Funny you should say that, I was thinking of him as well. Missing him reporting on Angelinas upcoming Graduation.

This is the one for the Radison. You can track the Magics journey out of the terminal.

This is the one which will show the Magic passing Jetty Park and heading out to sea.

If you have control of the cam, you can watch her as far out as can be.

This is the local station port cam

If all goes well, we will be at the port to see her off. Hopefully we will get some shots and video.
The Magic as of this am at the terminal.

You know...

.... to me it means really a LOT. That is famly and friends. I sometimes feel as if we are fairly isolated in too many ways. My siblings are distant and caught up in thier own "issues" ... and Alicia's siblings are also distant and busy - however - (unlike MY siblings) ... they are all of similar age being only at most 4 years away in age. MY siblings are 11-15 years older... so they're hung up it seems with other things...............................

At any rate I'm rambling... this make any sense to anyone?

It makes sense to me. Our 5 children are spaced apart in age - 28ds, 24dd, 17dd, 10ds & 6dd. But, we have worked hard to make sure that they are *close*.
This summer we are paying for our 28ds to spend 2 wks with our 17dd when they go to Korea/Austraila with some of the youth from our church -- World Youth Day is in Austraila and the Korea part of the trip is because we are *patnering* with a Korean church from Dallas. The 2 of them are already pretty close -- I would say that 17dd has always been 28ds favorite, she was born the week of his 11th b-day-- but, this will hopefully bring them even closer.
That was just an example of things we try to do to give all of our children *commn ground*. And with that kind of age difference sometimes it is a little harder to have *common ground*.

Looking at tomorrow's ads, Sears has the Olympus 850 (submersible to 10 ft) for "before $30 instant savings $299" plus advertised "free 1gb memory and digital photo key chain with purchase [of advertised cameras]" and "18 months no interest or 10% rebate" when using Sears card.
Now math is not my strong point but that should be $299.99 - $30 instant savings = $269.99 - 10% ($26.99) = $243.00

Funny I took a snap of the web cam a bit earlier at 7am local time, and just the Magic in then.

Arlene, don't know if the correction has been made but this is the site for Jetty Park http://www.cocoabeachsurf.com/BeachCam1.htm and don't forget about the Two Palms cam www.twopalms.com if that hasn't already been posted. I haven't had a chance to read any other posts, but thought I'd help out of I could.......;) ;) ;)

Oh yeah, Angelina will be graduating 6 weeks from this coming Tuesday. :thumbsup2

Just spoke to Andy and he says
In case I don't get over to the repo thread, tell everyone I said hello and I wish them all a most MAGICal cruise in August!!!

He is excited about Angelinas Graduation in June.

Can anyone guess why the dancing bananas have joined me ? Anyone? Anyone?

Could it be P I F ?????

Thanks, maybe we will meet up with you for that drink.:thumbsup2
Lots of DIS people coming:thumbsup2 The more the merrier:goodvibes

About that drink............would that thing be coming.:rotfl2:
Umm No.

I definitely plan on holding the tarantula . . . just to point out, I will have already zipped by the time we are hanging out in Pancho's . . . your description of "Julie and some other scaredy cats" disturbed me a bit;) . . . as Andrew and I have pointed out I will accept being called almost anything except a wuss . . .
Yes, Julie is NOT a wuss:rotfl: I meant ME and the other scaredy cats and the ziplining Julie;)

If I survive the zipline, it will be fun to hang with you in Pancho's while your crew zips!
That'll be cool:cool1:

:thanks: :thanks: :thanks: for your support, by the way, Laurie!:thanks: :thanks: :thanks:

I put down anonymous, how did you know;) AIDS walk is a good cause Julie:thumbsup2

I like the idea..........everytime I bring a book to read on a cruise, I never happened to actually read the book.:rolleyes1

I'm definitely reading on the plane to and from the TOAL, but not sure about on the ship. I tend to get really into a book and have a hard time putting it down once I've started. It winds up being my escape from the real world (kinda like this thread;) ). Now since the ship is also my escape from the real world, not sure if I'll do much reading on the ship:confused3

Morningpirate: Hope everyone has a great weekend. I will be MIA with all the Derby festivities. If yesterday is any indication, it is going to be a long one. I didn't leave work until after 11 pm last night. It was parade day. There are about 40 folks coming to our house Saturday to watch the races--everyone have their Derby pick? Mine is going to be the luck of the draw----(I have no idea who is racing--but a horse will win!).

So we get through this long weekend of partying and then my store remodeling begins on Monday. They are taking my gas dispensers out Tuesday. I told my contractor I sure hope I still like them once everything is finished. Going to take 2 weeks to get the new dispensers installed and all the repiping finished. For the remodel we are looking at 4 weeks--sure hope they keep on schedule---I leave for Hilton Head on June 15th.
:)

Derby festivities sounds fun Paula:goodvibes
Hope the remodeling goes smoothly.

Good Morning Andrew. Where ya been ?

HI, Lisa,

I have been around each day posting, trying to keep up, this thread has increased speed again and hard to keep up or see posts sometimes, But have posted each day.

Alice is at guide camp all weekend, a bank holiday weekend here, for a change, and Stephen has been on xbox 360 with his friend now playing outside on his cycle, I had to pay for extensive repairs on that earlier this week,

Counting down for our booking night and the following week Disneyland Paris.

good info Andrew, thanks

I am trying to balance the argument in my mind, ( no jokes please),

To go with DCL, or go on my own,

If we were in port at a sensible time, I would do Acapulco on my own, Last time we had Cici water park at 2pm, so I had the whole morning to kill, did the market ourselves and hen went to the post office, posted some cards and had a walk around.

I want to do the fort this time, but with everything opening up 9.30am ish, the time we have in port is wasted a lot,

The fort is sooo close, just a footbridge, and why book a DCL trip when you can walk it yourself, and walk to the market, I presume the tour operators will get everyone out of bed earlier.

So was trying to get more info to decide, still in the balance.
