Sorry, should have specified 6 or 60

So, I was telling DH about my momentary panic over this, then I realized that even if DS8 needed a car seat, I would just chance it. DH pipes up with, "I don't care if it is 85 degrees, you will wear your winter coat and my bullet proof vest and you will not complain." My response, "Bullet proof vest may come in handy in L.A."

:rotfl2: :rotfl2: :rotfl2:

wait a minute... I didn't think you could drink on the dcl if you had kids. The other DISers will frown upon it.

:lmao: :lmao:
That's OK. My kids aren't gifted and I don't craft, so I've already been shunned.

Uhhh Tom... Remember 11yr old group doesn't sign in or out and can come and go.... (and we're not sure they'll even have daytime activities)

Thar be an 11yo mutiny brewing....i call it by say the third night...:rolleyes1

QUICK! Add "Thou shalt not mutiny" to the kid contract.

to make it slippery, of course.

But why would you want to make a...uhhh...nevermind.

Of course, do you know the lyrics to "One Week" and can you sing them to the beat?

Even better, can you sing them to the beat after drinking?

I can ONLY sing it after drinking.

There will be 6 of us flying on SW. We'll be lucky if we can handle 6 bags, let alone 12. Of course, we'll also be lugging along a stroller, a carseat, and a booster seat. Add to that a carry-on bag for each of the 3 older kids, the camera bag, the laptop... I am really dreading the luggage for this trip! :scared1:

We're on SW too! Hopefully they won't add a charge for the second piece of luggage. On our first cruise, there were seven of us and the amount of luggage was embarassing. Here's a picture of it at Orlando International BEFORE the cruise!!

I'm drinking now, just to help out those guys from 1919. :scared1:

Bottoms up!!!:lmao:

I found this on another board -- I am pretty sure this is the place most of us are ziplining in Puerto Vallarta:

MONKEYS!!!!
Why, it is was one of the highlights of our entire cruise, just 2 weeks ago!
Yes, in Puerto Vallarta...at the end of our zipline excursion with Los Veranos...they had a couple of large walk-in cages full of monkeys...never saw any animal cuter in my life...alot of those were miniature monkeys (forgot what they're called) small enough to sit in the palm of your hand. The girl in charge there asked if we wanted to go in the cages with the monkeys, so yes, of course, my husband, 18-yr-old son, and myself were each given a bamboo container filled with (monkey food?) and were shut in the large cage. It was just us...they allow only 2-3 people in there at a time. So immediately upon entering, those monkeys were all over us...sitting on our shoulders and arms and feeding directly out of our hands. We must have taken 20-30 pictures just in there! Before we went in, the girl had us empty our pockets outside of the cage and we found out why...my husband accidently left his ship sea pass card in one of his velcroed shut pockets...well when we ran out of the food we took in there, obviously it wasn't enough for the monkeys, so one monkey opened my husband's pants pocket, reached in with his cute little monkey paw, and, before my husband had a chance to react, this particular monkey had the sea pass in his paw, brought it up to his cute little monkey lips to see if it was edible, and flung it across the cage when he discovered he couldn't eat it! Lots of fun!
This was a first for us....never before this have we had an opportunity to interact in this way with monkeys!
Definitely look into this one!

Julie, that sounds amazing:banana:
I hope they are still doing this when we go:woohoo:

Bottoms up!!!:lmao:

No, no anything but that! We don't need to see that.

Gnu? Not necessarily. Old llama oil works just as well! :rotfl:

:rotfl2: :rotfl2: :rotfl2:

OK, I just had to explain the whole emu, llama, gnu (oh my) evolution to DH. Throw in a few barenaked ladies and he really got confused (yet interested). "No really, honey, it makes sense on the boards..."

I will sit here and laugh out loud about something and my DH comes by and reads it and just looks at me..I just respond "you had to be there". He thinks I am crazy!

Nice day at DCA ..no waits for anything much..longest wait was about 10 minutes on Californian Screamin'. Although..when you only have 1 child and you go with a total of 7 kids (there were other adults) .. it gets tiring really fast if you aren't used to it.

:lmao: My DH still isn't buying into it - just rolls his eyes and says "yes hon":lmao:

So Laurie you will be entertaining the monkeys while we are zipping, right. :lmao: I hear they have a tarantula that will crawl on your face too. Oh and don't forget about the snake.

And yes I drink about 3 gallons of water a day with or without Motrin, but thanks.

In my Passporter..it describes the Cliff divers as doing two shows..the first is at 1:00 p.m. That is the time that we have to be back at the ship. Has anyone heard of a different time? I guess if they offer the excursion..they know something we don't?

Hubby and I are going to sit down right now and figure out our plans...we will just keep our fingers crossed that we don't manage to book Palo on the wrong nite!

thanks!

Picture from the Coral Princess right now.

You know when they first contacted me I was quite honored but boy, laugh was on me when they messed up and called it Coral Princess instead of the correct name Princess Coral. :rotfl2:

:rotfl:

I'm still wondering why anyone would ever want to oil an emu. :confused3
This is embarrassing. My mom had to tell me how they get the emu oil for me to slather on my scarred face. Goodness knows what I was thinking.
Of course, I am also the same person who thought the cows went to live on other ranches when the big truck came to our ranch to get them.:sad2:
My Mom says I do not get out enough. :)

Hello Everyone,
I haven't been around much but for good reason. My Mom came for a visit and just left the other day. My FIL is coming for a visit this Friday. I played around with my new camera and took GREAT pics. but deleted all by mistake.:scared1: Although I was sad it happened I am glad it happened now and not on the TOAL.

I finally just finished my fish extender. I didn't sew it and hope it will hold up. May not be completly straight........:lmao: but I like it. I put red sparkle discs on the nose.

Are you from Rochester ? My DH and I went to University of Rochester. I loved it there:cloud9:

no, we are from the Syracuse/Oswego area. We spent 11 years in Rochester though - through the 1990's. I loved Rochester! It is a much nicer area and much nicer city than Syracuse.:)
